He was honest about it and didn't charge me. Instead, he recommended finding a shop that could replace and program the camera properly. Mike is very professional, knowledgeable, and prompt with communication. 2023: I had a cracked windshield and contacted the shop for a quote. Mike provided a fair price and mentioned he could work directly with my insurance. I told him I was concerned about potential premium increases and preferred to pay out of pocket. All of the staff at Auto Glass Express - Chantilly were incredibly polite and professional. They honored their original quote and even surprised me with a military discount, bringing my final price down further. It's refreshing to see a service that recognizes and appreciates the military. So why tell me you'll call? Plus he had Tuesday to call. Long story short, he said he was having difficulty with the referral from my insurance company. I told him that's not my problem and that based on that, the fact that he didn't call me back, and couldn't remember a conversation he had a few days ago leads me to believe they don't need or want my business. Thanked him and told my insurance company to take them off their list. They may do good work, but not on my vehicle based on this experience.

I watched in horror as the chip spread across half my windshield, making me ineligible for free Safelite repair. I reached out for quotes from local small business and the folks at Yellowstone quickly responded, talked me through the process, and dealt with the headache that is my insurance company. I had a hiccup (thanks to the aforementioned headache of an insurance company) and ended up having to spend all day at their shop but it was an insanely pleasant experience. Eventually, I drove off with a new, spotless, OEM windshield and I couldn't be more pleased with the level of customer service, professionalism, and knowledge from the entire Yellowstone team.
