Excellent, reliable service on our very wet and windy wedding day. Valet attendants were friendly and professional at our venue. We also rented a 40 passenger mini coach bus to bring our guests back to the hotel as well as an SUV to transport a few people between the ceremony and reception. On time, friendly and fun service. A little confusion at the start since we had some complimentary parkers at our event, but after that it was smooth sailing! We were worried about not having parking on-site, but VIP moved incredibly quickly through the line of cars both at the beginning of our event and at the end. The coat check space had some change early on, but they were very attentive to how changes would impact our event and brought them up and adjusted on the fly to make it work out. ZERO STARS IF I COULD! Long story short: I go to the shops at 16 S. Halsted. Valet sees me and says, "Park your car here in front because you have a nice, fancy car" (it's hubby's, I can't take credit). So I do. One hour later, I come out to find not only the valet gone, but also my car! Whhhattt?? Yup, it was towed. I spend the majority of the afternoon hunting down the car with the help of the folks at Marianos. I leave them my business card and tell them to have the valet co. call me. A guy named Michael calls and apologizes up and down. He was nice and asked how he could make it up to me. We settled on an Amex gift card for $100. Wow, that was nice. Well, I get the Amex gc in the mail, and it has a zero balance. I send him a very nice email saying perhaps it was an error. Never heard back from the guy. Shadiest company ever. read more

I used VIP Valet for my wedding in Fall of 2015. The services I requested: Town car for bride to church Trolley for 32 individuals from reception to church Coach bus for 28 people- 8 trips to and from Valet service for 75 cars Needless to say it was a decent account for them. My driver was about 30 minutes late picking me up. He showed up in a Toyota Corolla. The driver was very rude and the car was so inappropriate for the occasion I assumed they messed up and called an Uber for me ( yes it was that bad). I even asked the driver if he was an Uber and he sounded offended. I didn't care about the car, I cared about the photographs. The trolley was very old. There was carpet and the sound system did not work (MAJOR bummer since that is the whole point of taking a trolley). It smelled of mildew too. I wouldn't have even mind paying more for an upgrade but that is not what I ordered. The coach bus was great. It was air conditioned and seemed newer, no complaints there. Also the valet services seemed to go smoothly. It's over and done with and it was still the time of my life. The Toyota Corolla was never addressed, they did not follow up afterwards. I would not refer them to a friend. When you pay for one thing and get another then it's hard to feel confident about your next service with them. read more

I used to work for VIP Valet when I was in my 20s. Great company and job to work for. Kevin Brudzinski was the Vise President. I love all the workers that were there and there now. The colors used to be purple and black or kaki shorts or pants. We bought uniform but the company spotted the money for uniform and worked to pay back. Worked everywhere. And Randy Mariano was owner with Brad and Sean who are brother's. I woul like to talk to my Pastor Tom to set something up with V.I.P Valet at church because there is no where to park. Gave my coatcheck ticket to one of the attendants. Waited over 5 minutes while everyone else got their coats. I asked if there was a problem - told no. Then lady came out from back asked what my check # was. I said whatever was on the ticket I gave the person. She said they couldn't find my coat!!! Then a worker came out from the back WEARING MY COAT. I said "that's my coat why is she wearing it". The "supervisor" then challenged me saying i should prove it! WTF?? Its a black shearling motorcycle jacket. The woman wearing it tried to say it was hers. They asked me what brand it was - i replied its 20 years old i don't recall - pretty sure no label. The person wearing it took it off and handed it to me. I went to speak with the event organizers to let them know what was going on - a volunteer took me back to coat check for me to ID the people involved. "Supervisor" started making excuses like there were too many coats and the other lady THOUGHT IT WAS HERS. WTF. How could she think my coat was hers? While i was waiting for my car a guy showed up saying he was the owner and didnt know why the fact his employee was wearing my coat and saying it was hers was a problem. We have used them for corporate events with 250 business owners and their spouses for valet and coat check and we have used them for private parties. The work they do is reflected in the experience they have in this business. They have been around for a long time and it shows! Their people are trained and efficient. The owner, Randy, is really in his element in this business as he is very good at taking care of his clients and their events. We have trusted them with a fleet of $100k cars and they have handled $10k furs. The cost of a valet for an event is nothing compared to the service given to your guests.
