    Very bad experience. My car was serviced in Barrington IL on June 8th. When I got my car back about 7 hours later there was a damage to my trunk and still some debris on it. The company never took the responsibility, even when I filed the police and BBB claims.

My manager initially had not wanted to make the investment for valet services (back in December), but two days before the event, (as dangerous was forecasted), management decided hiring Valet parking 1991 was necessary. Jose Brito was very responsive. In December, he returned my call promptly and submitted a quote within days. He was equally responsive two days before the event. Their service was impeccable. The drives were punctual, even in the inclement weather, their uniforms were clean and they were immensely polite and professional. They even helped some of our guests in with their packages (above and beyond). We are extremely grateful that Mr. Brito was able to accommodate us on very short notice. After sending the money I asked if she could send me the Liability insurance so that I could email it to the venue where I would be holding my daughter's baptism. Per the venue's request. She said no and then later I asked if I could get the bartenders email address so that I can communicate with her. As I wanted to figure out what alcohol to purchase. I wanted to purchase alcohol that the bartender best works with. The owner Angela said no again and then went on saying I was requesting additional stuff. She wanted the payment to be the end of our conversation. She wanted me to pay her and not ask further questions. I then asked if I could get my money back, as I didn't want to do business with her anymore. She then went on and said she could care less and if I wanted my money back my husband would have to contact her. After that she blocked me. I then began to panic and I worried that she wouldn't refund me my money back. Keep in mind that I am already dealing with all the stress that comes from planning an event. I am also pregnant so this was definitely a terrible thing to have experienced. I then asked my husband to reach out to her. Only then did she decide to refund me my money back. Moral of the story, don't book with them. Its better to book with someone who actually cares about their clients.

It was on our list of wedding venues to tour--we arrived, and immediately fell in love. The staff was extremely professional and worked efficiently throughout the process. They answered every single question, and accommodated us when annotating the contract, helping us schedule and track payments, preparing the timeline for the day of, and helped us figure out a LOT of last minute changes. They offered a time for a walk through and assistance with setup the day before, which made the day of the wedding so much less stressful. They take care of EVERYTHING; set up, tear down, linens, place settings, table numbers, water, wine, changing courses, bridal suite, the bar, you name it! We just had to walk in and enjoy. The food was restaurant-quality - no banquet halls here! Many people emphatically said that was the best food they had ever had at a wedding. The menu tasting was a wonderful experience guided by the Chief of Staff, and included a personal visit from the chef near the end. There are many great food and wine options, it was hard to limit ourselves to just a few! The staff was very helpful in accommodating our guests with dietary restrictions and allergies; if one of the food choices would not work, they created a special alternative dish for them at no extra charge. They were so organized, they even remembered to not drizzle honey on one of our guest's dessert. I checked with every single one of our guests who needed an accommodation, and every single one was fulfilled. We even had a guest who was arriving late; his food was kept warm and brought out immediately when he arrived. As the bride and groom, we got to sit at the head table with our personal Head Waiter, Justin, who was awesome. He made sure our water and wine glasses were always full, and would personally deliver them to us throughout the night whether we were chatting at a table or in the middle of the dance floor. He said he was there if we needed anything, and he always jumped in to help with a smile. Our guests repeatedly told us how beautiful, elegant, and classy the venue was. The Tiffany Room and first floor galleries were the perfect setup for cocktail hour, and everyone loved the gorgeous glasswork (and open bar). The Wisteria room, bathed in candlelight, with a view of the Chicago Skyline, was perfect for dinner and dancing. The staff was professional and helpful, and the entire event ran smoothly. We specifically wanted a venue that would "do it all" so we didn't have to, and Halim Time and Glass Museum absolutely delivered. We treasure the experience we had on our special day and thank Jessica and all of the staff for making it the perfect experience.

    Just went here again and it has fallen off hard. They redid the interior and tables for some reason…read more(it's pretty outdated already somehow) and have raised prices as a result. The portions have reduced and there's also now a credit card fee. Nothing looks the way it does in the last pictures anymore. The service was alright but a baby threw up everywhere and then a man sprayed febreeze after they wiped it off and it made it super hard to eat with the febreeze smell. There was one really nice waiter, unfortunately i didn't catch his name but he did check on us since we were waiting for some time and we appreciated that. As for the food, everything except the beef hakka noodles were bad. Very under salted and way too much cabbage in the fried rice. The gola kabobs were decent portion but dry and something you'd expect from someone who just started learning how to make them last week. The rice we got with the chicken manchurian was not fresh and the chutney with the kabob was watered down and about to go bad. In fact the manchurian itself almost tasted watery. Literally spent almost $100 to walk out with the aftertaste of raw cabbage, can't go back again. Oh also weirdest part was that we were only given forks to eat with, no spoons or knives in sight! The menu format has changed as well but somehow the prices are still not accurate to the bill at the end! Be careful and take pics of the menu to compare if you need to.

It's not super obvious but you go up the escalators/stairs to check in on the second floor. Check in went fairly quickly and there's water in the check in area. Assigned a room on the 10th floor and glass elevators moved quickly. Hotel rooms all face inside; similar to a Embassy Suites. The room was clean and spacious but the toilet has a foot flush pedal which was a little weird. Hotel is also undergoing some renovations so perhaps it will be different in the upcoming year. This was a nice conference venue but not too much else. It's pretty far from downtown (1+ hour in traffic, 25 min without). There isn't a ton of casual seating space like I've seen in other Hyatts but there is some general spaces and coffee shop market with tables. Didn't spend much time in the bar area but it's pretty central and seemed like it was pretty active there every night.

During my stay, the building experienced a water outage that lasted an entire day. This meant there was no running water in my room, making it impossible to shower, use the restroom normally, or prepare for class. At the time, I was also dealing with personal health needs that made the lack of running water especially difficult from a basic hygiene standpoint. Not having access to water during that situation was extremely stressful and uncomfortable, particularly while trying to stay focused on my academic responsibilities. I had to reach out to management to address the issue and request a room change. While they did move me to another room, the situation was not handled proactively, and no assistance with moving my belongings was offered until I asked. In a hospitality setting, I expected more support during a disruption like this. After my stay, Candace from the hotel reached out and added 8,000 World of Hyatt points to my account, which I do appreciate. However, I replied to provide additional context on how significantly the outage impacted my stay and never received a response to my final email, sent on February 13, 2026. The lack of follow-up communication after that point was disappointing, and it adds to my experience with this company. I've had positive experiences with Hyatt properties in the past, which is why this stay stood out negatively. I hope the hotel improves both guest support during unexpected issues and communication afterward when guests raise concerns.
