Wasn't sure what to expect as we normally would take the time to find a good parking spot, unload our bags, walk the shuttle, wait for the shuttle to get full, ride to the airport and worry about how to find the shuttle back, fight the crowd to get back on the shuttle, and make our way back to the parking garage.... OPV takes all the hassle, delays, frustration, etc. out of it. You just drive up, to the terminal, and step out of your car.... The valet person does all the rest. When returning, you text them where you'll be and 2 minutes later, my car was pulling up, bags were loaded by them, and away we went home. Saves time, saves hassle, saves frustration. I needed to make an unexpected last minute trip quick trip in/out of Chicago on Christmas Eve and returned Christmas Day. I've been admiring their Yelp reviews for quite some time and finally decided to give it a try for my own family during our recent Thanksgiving travel. I assumed a valet service at the airport would be pricey, but thought their pricing was pretty fair. Typical daily parking rates + $29.97 for drop off and then another $29.97 for pickup. I made a res online and received a confirmation email immediately. The day before I received a detailed email about where to meet the valet (basically right at American Airlines arrival). And then a text the morning of with her picture, as well as checking in on our timing (we were running a bit late, of course). We gave a very friendly Gabriella our car, the keys and hopped out with all our luggage and kids (most importantly) in tow. I was already a fan of the service after drop off, but the pick up truly earned them 5 stars. We were tired and cranky from an early flight and also up against nap time...and we never want to mess with our youngest child's nap time (who didn't get the message that he's a 3rd child and supposed to go with the flow). There was definitely no time to spare an thanks to this service our car was waiting for us (outside the exit door of our choice) a minute after we picked up our luggage. Even my skeptical husband said "that was pretty awesome" as we drove off. Uber is probably the easier option for my frequent work travel, but I'll definitely be using this for all my family travel going forward. This company is the best. A friend left his wallet in his truck on my driveway. We discovered it as we pulled into long term parking at O'Hare. He drove my car back home and grabbed his wallet. I called O'Hare Personal Valet they rescued the vacation by stationing a driver at Terminal 3 and waited for him to pull up and take the car. We used OPV for a recent trip leaving O'Hare for London. Communication was very good. We activated a GPS tracking system so they could determine when we would arrive at the airport. Apparently the system works for 3 hours, and we're more than 3.5 hours from O'Hare, it was raining heavily, and our Garmin said we would get to O'Hare later than originally planned. With that small snafu the valet didn't meet us as expected, and we had to wait for about 5-10 minutes before he arrived. On our return, we texted when the plane was at the gate, and then as instructed when we had our bags and were at the door. Two to three minutes later and the car was there, we hopped in and off we went. I'd definitely use them again to avoid the hassle of using shuttles and lugging bags around. Probably the best travel tip for families traveling with children and luggage. It really simplifies travel when flying out of ohare. How it works: 1) pick up the valet at predetermined time of your choosing at their location about 5 minutes away from airport 2) drive to terminal 3) valet drives car to parking lot 4) On return 5) text when you land 6) text them which exit you will be exiting 7) Not even 5 minutes and valet pulls up with your car 8) you leave, and valet gets own ride back. The daily parking prices are similar to economy lot parking, but there is about a $20 charge for drop off and pickup ($40 both ways). Saves so much time and effort, especially if you have kids and luggage. Beats waiting around for shuttles, buses, or the ever delayed reopening of the airport tram. read more

On departure, our valet hopped right in the car and helped us unload when we got to the airport (we were taking a toddler + baby on a weeklong vacation, so we had a lot of stuff!). This service is amazing. We've used them multiple times and they have always gone smoothly. Recently we had our flight cancelled due to weather. I texted the main number at 1 am asking if they would be able to retrieve our car. Even at that hour, in inclement weather, they worked with us and we had it within an hour. Our relaxing morning turned into a scramble. On the first ring, OPV picked up. Inside of 5 minutes they have confirmed our new pickup time. And as we pull into OHare at 70 MPH, there is our guy. And he is working as fast as we are to get us inside the airport. And, he found we left something in our car, swung back around and delivered to us. Excellent experience every step of the way and highly recommend if you have children! Communication about next steps was also excellent - text and emails alerts with next steps. As advertised, you pick them up at their offices (~5 min away from O'Hare) for departure, you drive when them to the gate, and they drive away with the car. This allowed us to bring our stroller and car seat right to curbside check-in without having to carry those items on a bus/train/etc. When we arrived at the OPV offices, Eric came out within seconds and was extremely helpful with directions and handling luggage! While we were away, we were also able to get our car detailed, which was excellent and saved us time with our busy schedule. At arrival, Eric tracked our flight and after we grabbed our luggage was there to pick us up within a minute or so. 3 stars but I would use them again, so maybe it should be 4. I used them for the first time this past week. Traveling with a new baby, this seemed like the easiest way to get to/from O'Hare, and not much more expensive than an Uber SUV which I would have needed. I liked that they send you a picture of who you will be meeting at the terminal- alas, the guy who we were supposed to meet wasn't the guy who showed up. I had a picture on my phone, and when we got to the airport, my husband said, "that guy over there is waving at us." I said, "well that's not him because we're supposed to meet THIS guy" and showed his picture. I guess sometimes you get someone different? (Also- to be fair, we were about 15 minutes behind the time we were supposed to arrive so maybe that's why?). I would have appreciated some acknowledgement of the switch, though- I mean you're literally handing your car to a stranger lol. I had to say, hey you're not Alex! And the guy said, oh yeah, he is picking up someone else, but here's all your info, etc (so I could be sure he wasn't some random dude). So anyway. That part was ok. On the return, we had to wait 20 minutes for our car. This... this I did not love. Luckily it was super mild outside so it wasn't a huge deal, but if it had been -20 in January and I'm standing around for 20 minutes with my new baby, I would not have been pleased. I texted (per their request) when we landed, and again when we got our bags, and I got a text saying the car would be there in 7-8 minutes but it was 20 minutes. The driver was polite though, and he did help load the bags in the car. Overall I guess I'm being a little picky, but you're paying a premium price for a premium service, so I was hoping for an all-around premium experience. For not much more than the cost of economy parking at O'Hare, we picked up our driver 5 minutes from the airport and were dropped off at departures right on schedule, without the hassle of parking then a train ride with kids and luggage. On the way back we texted upon landing and they were there within about a minute of us grabbing our bags - again someone just pulls your car up curbside, they hand over the keys, and you're gone.
