My manager initially had not wanted to make the investment for valet services (back in December), but two days before the event, (as dangerous was forecasted), management decided hiring Valet parking 1991 was necessary. Jose Brito was very responsive. In December, he returned my call promptly and submitted a quote within days. He was equally responsive two days before the event. Their service was impeccable. The drives were punctual, even in the inclement weather, their uniforms were clean and they were immensely polite and professional. They even helped some of our guests in with their packages (above and beyond). We are extremely grateful that Mr. Brito was able to accommodate us on very short notice. I would hire in the future and feel confident recommending their services. Top Notch!

Shortly after, I also discovered tire sidewall damage and required a tire replacement and alignment, costing me over $420 out of pocket, with additional wheel repair still needed. I documented the condition immediately and provided photos and receipts. Despite this, the company denied responsibility and refused to provide insurance information or properly investigate the situation. The valet attendant was also unprofessional and dismissive when I brought the issue up, and I was given inconsistent information about escalation and management involvement. This experience has been frustrating and disappointing. I would strongly recommend taking photos of your vehicle before and after using this service. However I will be filing a court case to recover cost of damage' for them to not get away with this, most importantly to be held accountable.

After sending the money I asked if she could send me the Liability insurance so that I could email it to the venue where I would be holding my daughter's baptism. Per the venue's request. She said no and then later I asked if I could get the bartenders email address so that I can communicate with her. As I wanted to figure out what alcohol to purchase. I wanted to purchase alcohol that the bartender best works with. The owner Angela said no again and then went on saying I was requesting additional stuff. She wanted the payment to be the end of our conversation. She wanted me to pay her and not ask further questions. I then asked if I could get my money back, as I didn't want to do business with her anymore. She then went on and said she could care less and if I wanted my money back my husband would have to contact her. After that she blocked me. I then began to panic and I worried that she wouldn't refund me my money back. Keep in mind that I am already dealing with all the stress that comes from planning an event. I am also pregnant so this was definitely a terrible thing to have experienced. I then asked my husband to reach out to her. Only then did she decide to refund me my money back. Moral of the story, don't book with them. Its better to book with someone who actually cares about their clients.

A 4.5-star affair…read more.. A fantastic Italian restaurant from A to Z. We do not get Italian cuisine like this in our hood. Thus, we love our trips out East. The TRUFFLE BREAD w/SPICY PICKLED VEGGIES was excellent, and the spicy veggies stole the show. I made my dad jealous with images. GRILLED OCTOPUS in a CREAMY SAUCE with fennel and greens: -- not ultra-tender but very delicious -- very good dish RATING = A BUCATINI CARBONARA: -- visually stunning -- thick hollow bucatini -- fresh delectable pasta -- so creamy and flavorful -- probably the best rendition of this famous dish I have ever had in 10 or more years of consuming it -- modest portion size RATING = A+ SKIRT STEAK FRITES: -- steak fries' style which are not my ideal since often less crisp -- "medium" done steak as requested -- fantastic quality steak but small portion sadly for the cost with skirt steak not being a premiere cut but more of a casual delicious cut that is very hard to overcook -- garlic aioli dipping sauce is yum -- value is "so so" RATING = A+ BROCCOLINI: -- so very flavorful that the wife knowingly comments about veggies never tasting this good at home...too many health nuts in Cali so they are usually scared of oil, butter, grease, fat etc. -- nicely seasoned RATING = A+ BRUSSEL SPROUTS: -- great char -- taste and sniff addicting -- great texture -- sauce is light but tasty and clearly there RATING = A+ AFFOGATO: -- ice cream very sweet (vanilla) -- coffee by local co. "Sparrow" is way too sour and bitter (level 5 on sour and level 7 on bitter) -- this would be better with a chocolatey nutty bolder coffee vs. a sour citrusy fruity coffee -- the wife gets this all the time and this was a miss and needs improvement RATING = B- Love the classic style and vibe inside. A great look and feel. STAFF provide exceptional service. They are located in a seriously hot dining district of the city so expect crowds.

I came to Formento's with some Yelp friends for Restaurant Week and I'm pleased to say it exceeded…read moremy expectations. Given its location in West Loop, I usually expect pretty exorbitant prices for food that's just good, maybe great. At least from the Restaurant Week menu, I felt that both the price reasonable and the food was great. To start, I got the Nonna's Meatballs. The meatballs were tender, a perfect size, and seasoned appropriately. I'm usually not a huge meatball guy, but these hit the spot. Next, I got the Canestri pasta with Sunday Gravy which I felt was the highlight of the meal for me. The pasta texture is perfect, and the sauce is wonderfully light, especially after the whipped ricotta is mixed in. Third, I got the chicken parm, which is good. The chicken was crisp and there was a lot of parm on top. I'm not certain if I would get it again, though. Finally, I got the banana cream tart for dessert which I really enjoyed. The banana cream was light and the crust of the tart was delicious, although slightly too thick. Service throughout the night was about what you would expect from a nice West Loop restaurant, attentive but not particularly outstanding. The whole restaurant also has a pretty upscale feel to it (aka dark) which helped me enjoy my food. I think I'll be back at some point! Food: 4.75/5 Price: 4.25/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 4.25/5 Overall: 4.5/5

The plentiful and delicious brunch buffet goes for a very reasonable $35 per adult, $15 for kids 6-12, and free for kids 5 and under. After the photos, he spent some quality chat time with the kids he encountered. The food and food layout and seating layout here were great and it's a much better setup here than at the overly spread out Oakbrook location. I particularly enjoyed their prime rib, smoked salmon, and waffles with home-made whipped cream. Our server was prompt and attentive despite how busy it was. FYI - Pinstripes had some financial difficulty and was recently bought out by an outfit called Punch Bowl Social. Although we grew up in the Chicago suburbs and know the city well, it was our first time staying at the Langham, and it left a strong impression. The most striking aspect was how spacious the room felt. We likely stayed in a Premier Room, which was quite large by city standards. The bed was massive, very comfortable, and just the right firmness. A detail that stands out is the space between the foot of the bed and the wall where the TV was mounted, which makes the room feel open and calm rather than cramped. The décor was elegant without feeling stuffy, highlighted by thoughtful touches like an espresso machine. The bathroom was another highlight: the frosted-glass window offered privacy while maintaining a sense of connection, and the rain shower had excellent water pressure and felt indulgent. The location is fantastic, convenient for work in the Loop, time in Grant Park, shopping on Michigan Avenue, or dining in River North or Fulton Market. During our trip, we ate nearby both nights, which made getting around easy and stress-free. The staff was warm and helpful throughout our stay, and breakfast at the hotel restaurant was memorable, even if the details are a bit hazy now. The lobby is beautiful, and several family members who stayed with us also commented on how much they enjoyed the hotel. At the time, pricing felt mid-range for a luxury hotel in Chicago, offering excellent value. It was summer, likely a less expensive time to visit, but even so, considering the room size, comfort, service, and location, it seemed like money well spent year-round. Thank you for such a wonderful experience. We would happily return and are eager to explore other Langham properties worldwide.
