I spent the evening at this hotel for The PhD Project Conference in March, and this is a lovely hotel. The staff member that checked me in was super nice, friendly, and helpful (I believe her name was "Kiarra"). The hotel lobby was beautiful. I loved the sitting area and there's a restaurant and Starbucks inside. I also loved that the hotel was literally approximately 10 minutes from the airport. The gentlemen the drove the shuttle on my away to and from the hotel were also very nice. My room was clean and spacious. Although, I was in time for a brief visit, when I return to Chicago I will likely book here because, I appreciated the accommodations. I highly recommend staying here.

I stayed here for 4 nights in late October 2024. This is an excellent hotel, connected by a free 24-hour shuttle bus service from the airport. The lobby is beautiful, the front desk staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and there is a restaurant, bar, and cafe on site. My room was very comfortable and clean. It didn't have much of a view (not that I needed one), but it was spacious and reset by housekeeping every time I left the room for the day so it was a great feeling to walk into a perfectly made room every day. The walk to the train is possible but lots of heavy traffic, big main roads, and narrow sidewalks. Not recommend at night but daytime you'd be okay.

There is a little market/Starbucks in the hotel but definitely overpriced. It's a huge venue great for conferences. Hotel room is nice clean as expected but microwave or complimentary breakfast, it is a $25 buffet. The hotel is better than I expected and better the Hilton suites in downtown. Mall And theater is 10min drive.

What a classy hotel. We got upgraded to a super nice room. One of the nicer ones I have ever stayed in. It has a downstairs foyer, bathroom, dining room, office space, and lounge area with a giant tv. There is an iron circular staircase that leads up to the super nice bedroom with a giant bed and fluffy pillows with floor to ceiling windows offering views of Chicago and the airport. There is an additional bathroom and entrance upstairs. The service from everyone was top notch. They even stored our frozen Giardinos and Lou Malnotii's Chicago deep dish pizzas we are taking back home with us. The breakfast buffet was fresh, expansive, and filling. They have a free shuttle that takes and picks you up from the hotel to the terminal at the airport you are arriving/departing from. They also had fresh baked cookies when you check in. This is our go to place to stay at when arriving/ departing Chicago.

I enjoyed my stay. I was able to check in early and I got a king room on the second floor conveniently near the fitness center . It was a good fitness center that had a decent amount of equipment . The showers water pressure was good . The room service menu looked a little limited but you can always door dash. Hotel staff was accommodating. It had a modern feel which I like. Conveniently connected to the convention center (it was a long walk but I guess at least you'd get your steps in) I wouldn't recommended wearing heels on the long walk from this hotel to the convention center. It did have outlets and usb plug ins and a smart tv so you can cast your streaming services to the tv

Awesome TV in the room.

Travel hiccups are never fun. On my way back from Italy, I got stranded in Chicago. British Airways put me up at the Hyatt Regency O'Hare Chicago for the night. Located close to the airport, they have an airport shuttle. It took quite a while for the shuttle to arrive which was frustrating given the situation I was in. I ended up waiting close to 45 minutes but the shuttle ultimately came. It's supposed to arrive more frequently but luckily, I had no problems when I used the shuttle to return to the airport the next day. The Hyatt is a nice hotel with a large, open atrium in the lobby. They have both a sit-down restaurant and a bar. I tried both and they exceeded my expectations for hotel food. The rooms are also nice. Clean and comfortable. And with the largest TV I've ever seen at a hotel. Definitely a nice touch! All of the amenities are there for a lovely stay if you're trying to be close to the airport in Rosemont. Given my situation, it was a much better experience than I thought it would be. Check in took a little while since there was a line but check out was a breeze.

While this Hyatt is a bit dated, it's still a nice place to stay. It's located right around the corner from the convention center close by to several very good restaurants as well as a Fashion Outlet Mall. The employees were quite friendly and helpful. The bedding is very good and I really like their shower products. Pricing is usually medium to slightly higher than typical hotels and the overall feel is nice. I would happily choose this hotel again when I'm in the area. The bar is great and I really like the arrival area. It's definitely not a 5 star hotel but far better than any 3 star.

O'Hare Airport is chaotic, but staying at the Hyatt Regency O'Hare always gives me calm after the storm. I love how stepping into the lobby feels like a breath of fresh air. The hotel shuttle is literally at the airport all the time. It is always there when I land, which is a huge plus for someone like me who hates waiting. I think it comes every 15 minutes, but I am lucky to catch it after I leave the airport. The hotel is large and they seem to have a couple wings. I was in the premium tower and found the room to be very large. I loved the sleek amenities. The TV was huge which made movie nights feel extra luxurious. There is a nice gym on the lobby floor as well that kept me fit. The staff is very nice as well. I met a colleague next door at Morton's Steakhouse which is a 5 minute walk if you are looking for something outside the hotel. Also, if you are taking the Blue Line from Downtown, it is a quick 10 minute walk from the station to the hotel.

This hotel is used a lot for conferences due to its size and close proximity to O'Hare. This review is for the overall meeting facilities, which are very nice. Several rooms, a large auditorium/ballroom, ample tables and comfy lounge seating, modern decor, good bars and food service, large and very clean ladies restroom, and conveniently close to the convention center (with a skyway connection) if needed. My only complaint is the $40/day parking. Ridiculous! (The convention center is only $15 if you don't mind walking.) Otherwise I am a fan.

I have stayed in this hotel several times!! I can say I have the best experience here. The rooms spacious, I stayed the suit room on the toward which is the newest tower of the this Hyatt and I was surprised and big it was ... it even had vanity area if you are a girl and love good lighting and mirrors you'll appreciated it. The restaurant downstairs by elevators is fantastic love the architecture and I enjoy the breakfast buffet! highly recommended.

Super convenient and a cheerful friendly staff. Popped in for an overnight before leaving the next day for O'Hare. This is a comfortable clean and welcoming hotel. If you are a fan of architecture, this property built in 1969 was designed by architect John Portman. He did lots of the atrium hotels from that era. This one echos the Hyatt Regency Atlanta and foreshadows his next major modern brutalist atrium masterpiece... the Bonaventure in LA. Overall, a good hotel for frequent travelers, globalists and fans of modern american architecture. Shuttle for the airport leaves every 15 minutes! Recommend.

$10.29 for a bottle of water and an individual sized bag of popcorn. Pathetic gouging here by Hyatt.

Dining: We dined at Thorn Restaurant & Lounge, located in the hotel lobby, and everything was exceptional. The food was absolutely delicious, the service was impeccable, and the cocktail menu did not disappoint. I highly recommend the Not So Old Fashioned -- definitely order it smoked! During our business meeting, we ordered breakfast, and I was blown away by the portion sizes. That breakfast burrito with the oven-roasted potatoes could honestly keep you full all day! Accommodations: The rooms are stunning. The décor throughout the property is modern, stylish, and thoughtfully designed. My bed was incredibly comfortable, and the large shower provided the perfect way to unwind after a long day. I also appreciated the charming old-school Frigidaire in the room -- such a fun touch! Service: From the front desk staff to the restaurant team, everyone was warm, friendly, and accommodating. The hotel even checked in with me via text throughout my stay, and when I requested extra pillows, they arrived promptly. This was my first time staying at this property, but it definitely won't be my last. I'm already looking forward to my next visit! #YelpEliteSquad

You can track it at TrackMyShuttle.com with code 2930, which is a lifesaver once you realize "every 30 minutes" can sometimes mean "whenever it feels like it" but it's nice being able to see where the shuttle is in real time on the map and I found it accurate. ** If you're at Terminal 2, head to baggage claim and out Door 2C. ** At Terminals 1 or 3, take the escalators down to terminal 2, door 2C ** And if you're at Terminal 5, brace yourself. You'll need the tram to Terminal 2 then walk outside to 2C. Walking is technically possible, but unless you've trained for a marathon, just...don't. ------------------------------------ When I landed (Friday, 10:30 PM), I waited forever for the shuttle. Eventually realized I could've just hopped on the Westin shuttle and walked over, about an 8 min walk. This is easily doable if you don't have a lot of luggage. Learn from my pain. Hampton Inn is only 10 minutes from O'Hare airport. Once I finally got there, though? Not bad at all. My King Suite was spotless, fridge, microwave, clean bathroom, comfy bed. Better than I expected. For $148 a night, it's a solid deal, especially for work travel. The complimentary breakfast (6- 10am) was actually good, real food, not the "toast and hope" situation you sometimes get at free continental breakfasts. All in all: once you survive the shuttle saga, the stay itself is clean, comfortable, and surprisingly pleasant. It's right next to the Orthopaedic Learning Center, so it's very convenient (1 min walk) if you need to attend any events there. Trust me, after a full days surgical course it's so nice to just easily walk back to your hotel hassle-free. Taco Bell and Small Cheval walking distance right across the street too!

Parking is an added cost, which is worth noting, though that's pretty standard for this area. One nice perk is the pool, which makes this a good option for families traveling with kids. There's also a small fitness area that works fine for a quick workout. The bed was comfortable and made for a good night's sleep before heading out. The room itself was clean and functional, but the furniture felt noticeably outdated and could use a refresh. Visually, the space feels a bit behind the times even though everything worked as expected. The free airport shuttle was a major plus and ran on time, making airport access easy and stress-free. Staff interactions were smooth and efficient without any issues. Overall, this hotel leans more practical than modern or stylish. It's a good fit for short stays or airport layovers. If you're looking for something newer or more upscale, it may fall short, but for convenience and value, it gets the job done. Efficient: Yes First-Time Friendly: Yes Would I Return: Yes JY review

My room had a great view of downtown Rosemont, and the bed was huge, very comfortable and clean sheets. Consistent with the quality of come to expect from Hilton, there was daily housekeeping. The conference spaces where the seminar was held, were clean, stocked with snacks, and had good acoustics. The gym, on the 10th floor, broken down into two spaces: one four cardio in the pool and the other for weights. The pool is heated and is open until 11pm. There are about 4 treadmills, and the strength section has a good mix of free weights and machines. The lobby restaurant had a good selection of Americana (think burgers & roasted chicken) as well as a really yummy green risotto and short ribs, as well as a hearty cab sab. Their penne vodka with chicken was another favorite. Remember how I mentioned I came for work? Well the USB adapter in my laptop must have not liked the turbulence on my flight and it got damaged. During my stay, the building experienced a water outage that lasted an entire day. This meant there was no running water in my room, making it impossible to shower, use the restroom normally, or prepare for class. At the time, I was also dealing with personal health needs that made the lack of running water especially difficult from a basic hygiene standpoint. Not having access to water during that situation was extremely stressful and uncomfortable, particularly while trying to stay focused on my academic responsibilities. I had to reach out to management to address the issue and request a room change. While they did move me to another room, the situation was not handled proactively, and no assistance with moving my belongings was offered until I asked. In a hospitality setting, I expected more support during a disruption like this. After my stay, Candace from the hotel reached out and added 8,000 World of Hyatt points to my account, which I do appreciate. However, I replied to provide additional context on how significantly the outage impacted my stay and never received a response to my final email, sent on February 13, 2026. The lack of follow-up communication after that point was disappointing, and it adds to my experience with this company. I've had positive experiences with Hyatt properties in the past, which is why this stay stood out negatively.
