I used to not like going to this location. Because I was going as a walk in and it would be nothing to wait an hour to an hour and a half. Once I started using their online booking system, I have been very pleased. The service is always good, and I have not had any complaints with my nails, nor my pedicures. I would like to see them tidy the place up a little bit. As you walk in there is a shelf to your left with an iPad to check in. The shelving has things thrown on. This is a focal point when you walk in that needs decorated. The glass case has some kind of paper taped to the glass. The floor mats look like they've never been washed down. They are very good at accommodating. Whatever you're looking for. If you show them a picture, they can usually do it. Be aware, though, some nails may cost $100+. Glitzy nails are not cheap! I opt for gel nails. The fill is $43+tip. Be sure to take cash as this will save you their fee to use the credit card machine. They will also give you a bag with your own file and buffer. I can't remember how much it cost a couple bucks I think. But you will want to bring it every time, otherwise, that's another additional you will get charged each time. read more

I don't get my nails done much but when I do I come here to VIP nails. I also get my pedicures done by Kenny (he also does my daughter's pedicures too ). Kenny is very personable and funny. The staff is a hit or miss when it comes to customer service but not everyone handles places with very busy customer service the same. It's very comfortable, it's never too noisy and my nails always come out very nice. They do take walk ins but it's best to schedule an appointment because it does get very busy. read more

The ONLY salon I will and have been going to for 2 years! My mom and I go together. I've seen quite a few of the nail techs and their all good! I see David and my mom see's Vu. Their quick , but still do such a good job. Very flexible with designs! I've also gotten a pedicure here aswell, same good experience! I never leave disappointed! I recommend making an appointment though, their packed for a reason! read more

2nd time here and I loved my nails! They take good care and pay attention to detail. There's plenty of people working here to make it go smooth. There was no wait on Thursday around 2pm. On my third visit so far. They do an excellent job, however if you are older, or of certain distinctions, you will be waiting and have poeple coming and being called back before you do. I waited two hours, granted I did not have an appointment, I was understanding. After 1.5 hours, three people turned me down and three young women who just walked in with no appointment was called before me with complex requests, as I always leave a 200 percent tip and it was only a 40.00 job I wanted done. The people going back before me had complex requests as I was listening in. I am not rude, I am very kind and nice, however I think this needs to be put out there so that other people can also be informed. There is also a man with a short buzz cut who goes walking around and hovers over you while you are getting your nails done. He is intimidating and after I leave a tip on the table before they are done with nails, he will quit hovering. I do not have to travel to this area of raceway road to have my nails done as I live in another town, but I gave them another chance maybe thinking it was a fluke. read more

its truly disgusting how the manager treats customers here and disrespect their time without any remorse. they are basically saying FUCK the customer and their time. Please read the reviews first because we are trying to help you! With my situation I came in with an appt and patiently waited 15-20 mins. once i get to the pedi chair my tech all of a sudden has to run and "fix" another clients nail who came after me. So after another 40mins goes by this nice young lady comes and offers to help me. I ask to talk to manager because I know he must care about his PAYING CUSTOMERS....NOT!!!!!! Basically me and my time didnt matter. I see other reviews that this is a reoccurring issue at this place. With this guys attitude this business will be bankrupt in less than a year because he will not keep customers operating this way! read more

I love VIP Nails. They have a new expansion of their store. I went in to get a full set on Monday at about 11 a.m. and I was able to be seen immediately. My nail tech was nice and asked me if I liked my shape. This was one of my best experiences at a nail salon. I will definitely be coming back. read more

I made an appointment for my daughter and I on Thursday for Saturday morning. we both got pedicures, and we were in and out in less than an hour! we didn't have to wait at all and the staff was nice and professional. It was very busy yet still very relaxing and clean. I will definitely be going back. read more

I have been coming here on and off for about 5 years.. customer service has gone down hill... I made an appointment for a pedicure at 3 & at 4:30 they were just starting to paint my toes and not because they took their time... because they were that slow. They arent gonna squeeze to get you in, it is what it is. I agree w previous comments if you come here often and get your person you may have a good experience but if you are just popping in for a pedi this isnt the place. They have also dramatically increased their prices over the years. read more

I was a walk in and specifically asked if they could truly fit me in or not for a full set. They said yes but there would be a wait. that wait ended up being two hours and then another hour to do my nails. The person who did my nails was sweet. But the wait was crazy. read more

This place is OK. Not great not terrible. They could use a remodel and it is always very crowded. They do a good job with the nails but the service is a little sketchy. During Covid, I felt a little uncomfortable with how many people were crammed in there together.I also felt like we had to wait a long time even though we had an appointment. I think it took a long time to get our nails done as well. All in for a Mani Pedi it was about 2 1/2 hours. read more

My daughter had gel nail polish put on which started to chip less than a week later. She called and was told to come in and they would fix it. We went in and explained the situation again, and the gentleman at the desk told us to sign in. When they called her up and she showed the color, she asked if it was going to cost. The man who was going to do her nails said it would be full price. read more

Attempted to get my nails done at this spot just 15 minutes after they opened. There was one lady working and she said the next worker would be back in 10 minutes. Ten minutes later I arrive again and continue to wait only to be told the other worker would not be there for another 30 minutes. I ended up going to a different salon. read more

I've been coming here since they opened, and USED to be happy with the quality. Over the last year though, prices have gotten higher, quality has gotten lower, and attitudes are rotten. Just went today for a new set of acrylics. Didn't ask for a special shape, but was just charged $5 more for coffin shape. They are thick, and not nearly close to the cuticle, and no ways near smooth. They look awful. Never going back. Super dissapointed read more

This was my first time going to VIP nails. Walking in, I loved the interior and the price I paid for this wasn't bad. And I was scared I wouldn't get what I want but I was really happy with how she did them. They matched what I asked for. What I didn't like was how my nail tech was still on me about "why do you want clear" "you don't want a color?" "Why don't you want to add color?" After I've said what I want more than three times.... it really doesn't matter what I want, I'd prefer I'm not get pestered & repeatedly asked something I've already answered. & I had jammed my pinky in my car door a couple days back & I told her that & towards the end she was handling my hand harsh and it was hurting the cut.... Besides that, she was nice and did really well on my nails. They look good read more

The wait is outrageous I've been here since 4:30 it's now 6:50 and IM STILL WAITING it's also 4 other people here with appointments and they have been waiting over an hour as well their shaping is okay but not really many designs to offer other than basic nail shop things like "cat eye" I won't be back simply for the wait alone there is no order in this place it should be people taking appointments and people taking walk ins she told me I had 3 people infront of me a hour ago I just watched her take a 4th person before me as well they also told me I had to sit inside while I waited she said it would be a hour wait and it has turned into a almost 3 hour wait read more

SO HERES THE THING, this is one of those places that is alwayssss packed! If you do not make an appointment you are pretty much hit and there's no point in waiting unless you walk in right as they unlock their doors at 10 am. I do agree with a previous review that customer service is not their too priority any more. When I first came about 5 years ago they were trying their best but now it's either you have an appt and they love you or you don't and they hate you lol. Service is great once you get somebody though!! read more

They do really quality nails. The problem that I have is that they always up charge me for things that I shouldn't be a charge for. I already paid extra for it being a colored set for being colored powder which is 55 and then the extra five for a shape they wanted to charge me $80 because the powder that I wanted was glow in the dark but they didn't tell me that would be extra and it shouldn't be $20 extra so if you want a special powder do not go to them. The nails are pretty, but it shouldn't be extra when I'm already paying for colored also the person that was doing my nails kept having to leave because their hand hurt so they left like three times for like a good five minutes this is also not the first time this is happened. They've tried to charge me for things that I shouldn't have been of charge for like designs that had French in them. They told me that I had to pay for both French and a design when I'm already paying for design stupid things like that they're just trying to get extra money out of you and today they succeeded in getting 20 more dollars out of me which is fucking stupid stupid read more

The place was very clean, which was a positive, with cute environment. The staff member I had was very friendly and did good work, but I waited for over 3 hours for a simple service and it was not busy. I understand appointments come first, but there were multiple staff members with no clients and playing on their phones, etc. as I sat there waiting. Once I finally got around to getting serviced I was happy with the kindness of the staff member but I feel as if I was forgotten about before I finally asked how much longer it would be. Nice place, but I suggest a more organized list or schedule. read more

Good little nail salon, The staff was very friendly and the prices were reasonable. We arrived on a sunday afternoon and there was a 30'-45' wait but we were in no hurry. They seemed to have a lopsided color selection for nail polishes- every shade of red but only 2 shades of green or blue- but not a big deal to me. We got pedicures and they were nothing fancy -lotion, hot towel wrap, gentle massage, etc- but well done. read more

I'm sitting here finishing up my deluxe pedicure right now and it has been amazing. From the time taken on each step to the attention to detail on my French tips, I couldn't be happier. My nail technician Tracy was so sweet and while we chatted a bit she didn't try to make awkward small talk or anything, it was totally natural and she was really friendly. The equipment and furniture seem well taken care of. Everything looked very clean and I watched all the employees taking their tools back and forth from the sanitation area. My nail technician also led me to the drying area which is next to a bunch of sinks where I watched her thoroughly clean her hands and tools afterwards. This is definitely somewhere I will return to and will recommend to others. Bonus of a super cute baby hanging out around the store learning how to walk. read more

I've been getting my nails done for years at random places where I always felt invisible. At VIP they know me. They greet me by name and they all know which tech I prefer. The owner is good for a conversation about anything and is so funny. I've been going here for about 5 years now. I consider them friends and wouldn't go anywhere else! read more

Bring cash. They charge an extra $1.25 for any credit/debut transactions. I walked right in at 5pm on a Monday and was helped right away! I just received a pedicure, and Tran did a great job. The water was nice and hot and the color looks perfect even after a week of tennis shoes and boots. I thought the prices were average and the decor was very nice. I was welcomed and helped right away and they did tell me before hand about the additional charge for credit/debit transactions so I wasn't surprised when I paid. I would definitely recommend this place and will be going back for my next appointment! read more

My nail tech had an attitude the WHOLE time. I got a soak off, overlay, the gel with halo. I understood that this was going to be a process but the nail tech proceeded to make snarky comments about how I am taking up majority of her time. When doing my nail she was sloppy and rushed everything. I have a cut on my finger from her aggressively drilling my nail. I said ow multiple times yet no apologies were given. After 2hours I was finally done. I go to wash my hands and realize my nail were a hot mess. Polish missing from my sides. I have a lumpy lopsided nail. And a cut. I told my nail tech all of this a they still wanted me to pay for the mess I didn't like. She proceeded to snatch my money with an attitude then came back and said maybe it's because you're too dark. After today I will never recommend this place to anyone. Plus when I was removing my acrylic the had me standing by the dryer section with my hands in a bowl until a nice gentleman finally offered me a seat. read more

Came here for a simple pedicure at 6pm and the experience was awful. Another client had made an appointment at the same for herself and three other people and instead of the manager placing them together for a pedicure he separated them causing an issue. I had to sit and listen to her complain and speak loudly across the nail salon to her niece about how the experience was ruined because everyone in her party didn't receive service at the same time. The situation only became worse when the manager came over and proceeded to talk about me to her. Accusing me of not having an appointment and even agreeing that I was in the wrong.I offered to give up my seat but was told no it's not an issue. However that was a lie because the other client continued to discuss the matter for the reminder of her visit.I definitely will not be back . read more

During my second visit, the start of my manicure felt a bit rushed, likely because an appointment was about to come in. It wasn't the tech's fault, but I would've preferred to wait from the beginning. I was then seated in the massage chairs until the next available tech, which I understood given how busy it was for a Friday. Once they were ready, both services were done with care. The pedicure and manicure techs really took their time. I'll continue coming back and making this my regular spot. It's clean, looks newer, is reasonably priced, and overall a solid experience.
