So I moved to east Texas of August 2018 and I've been dying to get my nails done for so long... and I've had bad experiences with the nail salons in my town are no where near as good as the ones back in California where I used to live... so I tried finding a nail salon out in nac which is a 45 min drive from where I live.. AND THE DRIVE IS WORTH IT!!!! And the prices are honestly the best think ever!! And so much cheaper from what I used to pay to get my nails done back in California... these prices can't be beat! And Lily! She did my acrylic full set and I loved it so much! It was a simple color power red but she took her time and my nails came out perfect! This is my go to nail salon from now on!! read more

This place sucks! I called at 11am to see if they had any appointments open for a nail refill and they said i could make an appointment for 2pm i showed up 10mins early and waited until 2:50pm and still was not being serviced. Got told they were understaffed and was given attitude by the front desk when i was visibly upset on my wait time. They have terrible service and time management DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! read more

Awesome customer service, I had no wait time , usually I make an appointment but I was a drop in today ..pedicure, overlay (dip) on my nails , eyebrow wax ...environment was chill , good music , clean environment and positive vibes only at V.I.P read more

Visiting from out of state and needed a nail repair. I found a color that was close but lacked some sparkle. . .my nail tech was terrific and went the extra mile to create a perfect match! She also added a little extra reinforcement where the break so it would hold up for the rest of my trip. Very nice and clean environment. read more

Quality was horrible service was too. I had to stop at CVS and buy files, polish remover and nail polish to go home and try to fix what they did. Spending $50 there was a big mistake and Veronica shouldn't be allowed to work there. That whole place is a mess!! read more

I love VIP. I've currently been waiting 30 minutes but the manager continues to check up on me and makes sure everyone is seen by first appointment followed by walk-ins. The staff is kind and doing a good job! I used to get my nails done at Hannah's but was rarely pleased. I have enjoyed my experience here and think it's the best in Nac(: There is a longer wait here but that's because everyone knows it's the best. It's worth it if you can block out a couple hours of your day! read more

I don't think VIP is worth one star. I had a deluxe pedicure and regular manicure. No problem with the mani but after 3 day my heals are still painful. They were literally shaved raw. Both feet! I have to medicate them regularly so I don't get a nasty infection. read more

Waited for about 30 mins but I don't regret it at all. Great service, great treatment and awesome overall work. I was able to communicate to the technician that I wanted to get dip and also paint my toe nails without having to her a pedicure. I was very happy over the work on my nails. My technician was kind to my nails and took her time to make it look perfect. When she did my toes, she brought water to me, clipped and shaped my toes and painted them so perfectly. Very happy with the pricing and the work done. read more

I got my nails done today, and the are extremely crooked!!! I only have two nails that are somewhat straight. I told the man who did my nails this when he first started filing them and he said that he would straighten them out with the powder. The did not straighten out and only got worse. On top of that he cut my finger open with the nail file trying to fix them. I still paid full price even though my finger was cut open and my nails are super crooked. read more

Unfriendly. For a basic $30 pedicure you don't get much. No effort put into the pedicure, but for more money they might try harder.

DO NOT GET YOUR EYEBROWS WAXED HERE I haven't gone to a nail place in Nacogdoches yet and decided this place looked nice. Definitely go before noon, I got there at 11 and it was dead, when I was done at noon a lot more people were in chairs and a wait just began. The guy who did my gel was great! He was patient, took his time, and then nails look great. He did cut the top of a few fingers when he was shaving down the nail with the electric tool. But I've gotten cut every time I get acrylic or dip so it's not too bad. Where they loose stars is my eyebrow wax! This lady was in such a hurry and not very welcoming. She applied wax in all locations, then took it all off, and then said ok and walked out. Also, when she applied and removed the wax she pressed EXTREMELY hard on my face. I have been getting my eyebrows waxed for 6 years now and have never had someone press that hard that my eyes watered. In my experience aestheticians first trim the brow, then apply wax and remove each location at a time, next they give me a mirror to see if I like it and need anything else removed. But not her, it seemed like she just wanted it to be done so she can get her tip and move onto a customer with a bigger request that costs more like a pedicure. My skin is bruised and a few spots are bleeding where the hair follicle was. read more

The shop itself is very clean. The owner is nice. They lady doing my pedicure was very rude, she cut my foot while trimming down my cuticles. She gave me a massage with sugar scrub on my feet and legs instead of the lotion. I asked her to wash it off because it was hurting my legs and she told me to sit back, relax and turn on the massage feature on the chair. I finally physically took her hands off of my legs and washed them down, showed her the correct bottle of lotion to rub my feet and legs. She claimed to have been there for three years. After leaving there was one ingrown toenail from where she cut the toenail at an angel instead of straight. She still charged me the whole price and then asked for a tip when bringing me change. You will not find me going back to this spa as long as I live! read more

I myself didn't have a good nail technician he was just rude and I only had corrected him on doing my nails how I wanted & he gave me this ugly attitude. I jus my personally myself was disappointed. read more

I can't judge their work because I was waiting for 2 hours before I got fed up and left. They kept taking girls in front of me. Obviously money is their priority because they were taking girls with the mani & pedi packages. I just wanted a full set of acrylic. They continued to put another girl in front of me who was only getting a manicure because her friend had gotten a pedicure & manicure and wanted to be done together, while I was still sitting there. I guess some of the workers are pedicures only? Which doesn't make sense to me because it's a NAIL salon. I was fuming. I have never had to wait 2 hours to get my nails done. They aren't efficient at their job from where I was standing. read more

Dropped in for a pedicure and manicure and was instantly greeted. I was set up in a chair in less than 5 minutes (even a wait would have been worth it!). Timothy did a great job with both my manicure and pedicure, and I really enjoyed talking with him as well! The atmosphere is relaxed, yet still professional. The chairs are comfortable, and the whole facility is very clean. I'll definitely be back! read more

This was the worst manicure I've gotten in Nacogdoches. First of all, it took SUPER long (over an hour and a half - I wasn't waiting, that's just how long she took to do them). At first I was fine with it because I thought she was being detail oriented. She wasn't. Once she was done so much of my fingers were stained green from the powder - she said it would come off if I washed it. It did not. (I feel like she should fix it anyways??) She also got a lot of glue stuck between my finger and nail. Super disappointing and I'll definitely stick to Fairy Nails from now on. read more

unfortunately was stuck with Cindy whom was very unfriendly and aggressive from the start that made me think twice about going back to my car and leaving. I'm so dissatisfied with my appointment that I can't even wait until I'm finished with the whole pedicure to write this review because I chose a luxury pedicure only to immediately notice that there is definitely not going to be anything luxurious about it. Not sure if it is a bad day for her but the tech is being very rude and ruff with me. Not to be exaggerating but it is so noticeable that she has 2 blue veins showing on the left side of her face. And her lips are squinched tight. But just half performing my $65 dollar pedicur. I can not make this up but I will do my own pedicure before I come back here. The first time wasn't a bad as this time but it was worth the 2nd chance to see this is definitely not the best in the area like some people have said. I am a professional beauty servicer and tipper and I would never treat anyone like this. read more

Can't wear shoes today because my toes are hurting and cut up so bad from a pedicure at this place yesterday! The girl that did my feet was so rough with every single step. I tried to tough it out and thought maybe my feet were tender since this was my first pedi in a year, because of Covid, but that wasn't the case. My sister was with me and there were times during it that I couldn't visit with her because of the pain... I had tears in my eyes for most of it. When she trimmed my cuticles, she cut me four times. When she used the purple stone on my heel, she angled my foot so hard that the stone was scrubbing skin on the back of my calf muscle along with my heel. She used the metal tool to scrape my clean nails and cut me then too. I have never had a worse experience before. The worst part was when she sprayed my feet with alcohol at the end and all the cuts on every toe burned like fire. I yelped! Today four of my toes have red scabs around the cuticles, and are so sore and tender that I can't wear shoes, only flip flops so nothing touches my toes. Avoid this place! read more

I am so disappointed and upset. I came in for a gel pedi and SNS. My pedicure might as well have been a polish change. No massage, no lotion, didn't clean under my toe nails, and barely scrubbed my heels. Now for the SNS. I have NEVER had my nails look so bad. Even when they are chipping they look better than they do now. Every nail has bumps in it, they are very thick, the powder is stuck all over my hands, they aren't smooth, and they are still filled uneven after I asked her to fix them. Not only do they look terrible they were $45 when the most I've ever paid was $40. Also, to get gel it's $20 and the most I ever paid extra for gel is $15. Don't give them your business. I should've listened to these other reviews and not wasted $90 here. read more

Love this salon. Such a friendly, comfortable atmosphere. Lily has cared for my nails for years now and I was delighted to find her here.

Very nice, clean, and tidy place! Smells good! Towels are nice, warm, soft and smells fantastic! I normally go mainly for the massage whenever I get a pedicure and Yessi did not disappoint! She was very professional, efficient and did a good job while taking her time. It's a very busy place and people tend to get there early also. Everybody spoke to the customers and made sure they had everything they needed, like a bottle of water. I will be a returning customer! read more

i went in thursday 12/9 and got a full set of acrylic nails. it's now 12/17 and i have had FIVE nails lift up from the bottom. earlier i had three and i went in and the owner argued with me saying he wouldn't fix it or refund me until i said i would be disputing the charge then he fixed them. then not even five minutes after leaving i had two more lift up almost completely. i have had acrylic nails before and i have NEVER had this issue until i went to VIP. that was my first and last time going. read more

got a gel manicure from a younger guy, he probably did, no lie, six layers of polish on my fingers. they ended up looking like beans because of all the polish layers. they all peeled off (i'd do nothing and they'd fly off my fingers) right after a week from getting them. read more

I just came here for the first time to get a full set. They did a decent job but i've had better nails done before. I'm annoyed because I know the man over charged me. I don't remember his name but he was a little older. I asked for coffin shape and at the end they turned out to be square. I didn't really mind, until he charged me for getting them coffin shaped when they clearly were square shaped. I pointed this out and he asked if he could fix it but I didn't want to sit down for another 20 minutes just so he could fix the shape he messed up on. Not to mention my nails turned out a little bubbly and rough and my skin is stained around the nails. He still charged me for the coffin shape, despite me saying they were square, and I ended up paying $50 which should have been $35. It doesn't state their full sets of powder are $45, it says $35 but whatever. I probably won't be going back, i'm sure there are better nail salons in Nacogdoches. read more
