Says right here pedicures are 15!!!! We got the basic nothing fancy we shouldn't have had to pay 37 dollars!!!

I went on thursday to get a pedicure. They advertise all around the place that it is a $15 pedicure. I also got a text that there's a $15 pedicure. When me and my daughter arrived we sat down and received the menu. we just said we wanted the basic and nothing fancy. the lady asked us if we wanted regular or gel. my daughter asked how much gel was and the lady said free. so we got the gel. when it came time to pay it was $52 for each of us. coming to $104 total. I told them that we got the $15 pedicure. they said no you got the $37. we said no but they said we did. they told us we should have asked for the $15 pedicure at the start. no where on the menu does it advertise the $15 service. that is false advertisement. they also lied to us saying that the gel was free. they scammed us. we tried to reason with them but nope. do not go here. they are deceitful and scammers!!!

I come here for builder gel pedicure and manicure always good service ask for Amy she is very good at her work!!

I don't think the price is worth their work. I got a builder gel set and it came without a manicure. I like to try new places from time to time. And this one disappointed me. It was nice they offered me a drink so I think they get a star there. But 75 for my builder gel set was literally too much! I don't recommend this place. I will add I got rhinestones on my tips. But I still don't agree glueing rhinestones is an extra 20 dollars. There was no nail polish used because of the look I wanted was just rhinestones. I think there are better places to go to than this one. Save your money. also I will add not all my nail polish from my last set was taken off on the side. So you can still see it on my nails bc I got light pink hard gel. read more

I try to never leave negative reviews because as a small business owner, I like to support other businesses. However, after my 3rd time in here in 6 days (not by choice), I had to share my experience. I came in to get "builder gel" nails done here when visiting my family. I get them done in my hometown and they are always great - they a last long time and never break. I noticed right away that the application of the so-called builder gel was much different than I have had anywhere else, but I'm not an expert so didn't think much about it. However, within a day and a half after I got them done, I had a couple break, and very far down on my natural nail - super painful! But things happen, so I came back in to get them fixed. The man at the front (I believe the manager) looked at them and said multiple times "oh, you broke your nails?" Basically like it was a "me" problem and nothing to do with them. Mind you, I was not doing anything crazy - making the bed when one broke and reaching in my purse to grab my wallet on the other. He reluctantly agreed to have a tech fix them after informing me that it was a long wait. They did fix them (and charged me ). THAT DAY two more broke off. I also noticed almost every single one was cracking pretty far down on my nail. SO, I went back in the next day to get them removed - the same manager guy was SO rude (which is why I decided to write this review). I told him that I always get builder gel, however the application is different in my experience and much stronger. He proceeded to roll his eyes and gave me a sarcastic laugh. I tried to show him the cracks and he cut me off completely - ignored me and helped someone else. He then became nasty with his tone and facial expressions when I told him that I would like to get them removed, instead of fixed. The nail tech herself was very nice and informed in a hushed tone that yes indeed, in her experience working at other salons, the gel nails always come from a powder-like substance which is why they are usually strong. She said she knew "this would happen" as it's not regular builder gel. This salon uses something completely different to save money I am assuming. However, this post is less about that issue and more about how I was treated by the front desk. On a side note: every time I was there, the manager and a couple other guys who work there were smoking in the front doorway causing the entire interior to smell like cigarette smoke. This was not pleasant, and completely inappropriate when there were little girls in there getting pedicures for Easter. read more

What should have been a simple conversation felt more complicated than necessary, as there seemed to be frustration over me changing my mind from the original French tip. It was confusing, especially since I had made an appointment ahead of time, they weren't close to closing, and several technicians appeared to be available. As my appointment went on, I also became concerned about the cleanliness of the salon. The pedicure tub didn't appear to be cleaned, there were no plastic liners, and a tool that had been dropped on the floor was still used afterward. I left feeling disappointed by the interaction, but even more frustrated after paying $130 and having three of my nails pop off the very next day. I returned to have them fixed, and while they repaired them without any issue, two more nails came off the following morning. There was no clear idea about what I was gonna get or what I was paying the price was reasonable, but I would probably not go back as the number one thing. I'm there for is some pampering and foot massage. The actual pedicure results are only OK. It wasn't a very nice experience. There were quite a few technicians and it seemed like they were actually doing the whole pedicure. It's a possibility that I would go back, but I would make sure to ask who I was getting and to be able to review the services first as I was planning to treat myself today, but since the technician never spoke to me except for to give me the cost at the end that wasn't possible.

This is my first time here and specifically choose this place because of the reviews. I am from out of town and was visiting family for a wedding and wanted to get ombré French tip and gel pedicure. I called two days prior to make an appointment. If you're not from Lodi area, finding the place was not as easy. I plugged in their address in the GPS and it took me in the complete opposite direction. Maybe local google maps need to update it? But I was able to find the place by calling the salon. The salon is located in the same plaza where Ross and 99 cent store is located. As you walk in the atmosphere and environment is very welcoming. I had Cammy for my pedicure and she did a phenomenal job. I usually pay for a basic pedicure but wanted to splurge a bit. I ended up doing #18 for my pedicure which included a scrub, paraffin wax, and some other thing that included stones (sorry I forgot) which cost $35 and for gel an extra $15. As for my ombré French tip, I had Lan do my nails and she too did an amazing job! Both of these ladies are very meticulous at what they do and I am very happy with the outcome. Both Cammy and Lan took their time with me and didn't rush (which I like). My overall experience here at VIP nail salon is 10/10! From the moment you walk in, get seated, getting serviced and the moment you leave you feel great and this place left me with a great first Impression. Mom and Daughter Day! It was our first visit and the place and the technicians were amazing! This will be our new permanent place to go. Service was great and attention to detail and comfort to us the customer was very much attended too. I have severe anxiety and this was my first time ever getting my nails done to where I was actually able to relax. My technician (Julie) had to remove my old nails and did so with so much detail and made it so comfortable and painless. I've gotten my nails done a million times over the years and this was also the first time someone didn't try to just pry the nail off and butcher my actual nail. She took her time and soaked my nails and removed my nails pain free! Even managed to make my real nail look healthy under the fake nail. She also took great care with my cuticles which I swear nobody ever really does unless you ask. Overall this was a great experience and I look forward to going back. read more

I decided to give this place a try since it's new and close to home. I got a pedicure and a gel manicure for my baby shower. I got the basic services but their selection of services look really cool, I'd like to try one of the fancier pedicure options the next time I go. Having said that, the classic pedicure was still very relaxing and it got the job done. Vince helped me and he did a really great job massaging both my hands and feet. I was so relaxed afterward!! He also fixed two broken nails and paid attention to detail while polishing my nails which I really appreciate. He checked in with me throughout my services and made sure I was comfortable and had a beverage at hand. It was fairly busy when I came in, with all nail techs working with customers. I came in for a classic pedicure, and the wait time was about 15 minutes. The service was a little awkward, but I knew the employees had good intentions haha. The pedicure felt nice, the chair was comfortable, and the tech who did my pedicure was very polite! Also, the service lasted for about 40 minutes, so they don't really rush their clients (I've been to salons that try to do everything quickly and skimp on their service). The only complaint I have is that he was a bit rough while using the buffing block on my nails, and my toe bled a little bit. It's alright though! Jenny! She made me feel so comfortable. She sanitized the area right when she was done with her client to assist me next.That was the first time I've ever had her do my nails. I went to VIP nails and spa yesterday for a full set. My technician was Andy. And he was very nice and help me decide on whether to get a fill on my nails or do a full set. He let me know that I had some lifting on my nails and recommended a faucet to avoid any damage to the new nails. I came in wanting a jade marble with gold foil on one nail and A more natural look on the rest of my nails. He showed me some of his previous work and let me decide which to go through with. Every step along the way he made sure that I was satisfied with how they were turning out. They are better than I imagined they would've been! I stay coming to VIP 'cause they ALWAYS take care of me, every single time. No attitude, no rushing, just vibes. My pedicure came out hella clean and smooth like always. I thought they weren't doing the hot towel today and was lowkey sad, but nah--they pulled through like "don't worry girl, we got you." Period. Very pushy staff for reviews. Very bothersome when I was trying to relax. Great pedicure but lost a customer for the way she went about demanding reviews. The manager stood over me and demanded I give another review even though I already gave one. She even tried time download apps on my phone as she was scrolling to "prove" I didn't give a review even though I do. Very upsetting when I was trying to enjoy the service. This is my favorite spot in Lodi and I've been going to them for 3+ years. Everything looks and feels so fancy. It's so easy to walk-in or book individual/group appointments online. Their service is top notch with friendly staff, complentary drinks, and full service menu. They can do anything you ask to you exact liking. They're so great that they will talk you into upgrading to gel or adding extra services. Paying cash is best but they have an atm inside too or will take cards for a small fee. I walked into VIP Nails for the first time today. I asked for a fill and pedi and was checked in right away. I was offered a beverage and got the iced tea and it was so good! The nail tech that took care of me was Lan and she absolutely did a phenomenal job. I asked for a French tip with glitter and she made sure I was satisfied! I don't think it's fair if you make and appointment and they still tell you to wait 30 minutes or come back and I was early like 15 minutes. So mind you I leave and come back they tell me to have a seat and I see all these other people coming in while I'm waiting and I'm like okay. Then they start taking some of the people into the back like I haven't been there so many times before and been waiting longer than anyone.
