Found Exotic Nails on Yelp and decided to give it a try. I called to see if they accept walk ins and luckily they do. When I arrived I was immediately greeted and sat down for my full set. I forgot to ask the gentleman's name. He started off super friendly, I saw him getting kind of annoyed with me because I can't relax my hand for the life of me. I was torn between two shades of orange and asked if I could ask for his opinion. He immediately relied "I don't have an opinion" I awkwardly laughed it off and realized he was serious. It definitely rubbed me the wrong way. I ended up going with a basic yellow. I was by myself and wanted to see which orange he liked more. Overall he did a good job on my nails and I'm happy with the shape and length. I like the fact that they accept card and have affordable. I had forgot to get cash for tip so I ran to the bank after and still got 22% for tip although experience was a little off. I would go again and would still refer people, I just hope it's a little less awkward and I guess I won't ask for opinion on a color. read more

This salon is really nice. The staff are really friendly. The salon is also very clean. They did a good job on my pedicure. Their polish selection isn't very big. But it's not a deal breaker. My full set of dip powdered nails came out pretty good. Definitely like it better than acrylic. I will come back here for sure read more

I found a permanent nail salon after one bad experience after another. Hands down Sonny is the Sh#*!!! I love the way he does my nails. Not only is he good at his craft but he is hilarious. He is so nice and always in good spirits, he'll have you cracking up the whole time you're there. Inside the salon is always clean, I've only been to the restroom twice and it's always been very nice and clean. Overall I'm a very satisfied customer. read more

Never got my nails done here and I never would. The man working at 6:55pm on a Thursday night was rude as could be when I tried to park in the spot in front of his shop to get my daughter to her class in the same shopping center. He ran out and told me "nail salon only" along with a bunch of other nasty stuff after I apologized and told him we would leave. I moved to avoid any issues, but the parking is not assigned and come to find out the salon closes at 7pm. Times must be rough when you think a customer is going to walk in 5 minutes before you close for you to rush thru a service. read more

This location is unique in the sense that the employees don't gossip about the customers in Viet. I've been to this place pre-COVID, so I'm not sure if prices went up or employees were switched out. Today, I decided to get my nails done as a day to relax (instead of doing my own). The nail technician was surprisingly fast. Took an hour or hour and half max for acrylics. Unfortunately for me, speed should not be compensated over detail. Excess glue around the nail made the result look messy as well. For $48, I understand their standard price; but it was not worth it given the length and end result. read more

Came here and haven't stopped coming since. Sonny is an amazing nail tech with great customer service and always has good conversation, doesn't make you feel awkward or uncomfortable. Kitty does my feet and she does such a good thorough job with an amazing massage that is not rushed. I highly recommend this place! They never say no when I call for a same day appointment :) read more

This place was the worst place I've ever gotten a pedicure. I called in a few days ahead to make an appointment, my mistake.... For whoever was available. OBVIOUSLY. The lady didn't even tell me her name. It was the oldest person there so let's say grandma Lol. She was so rude and smacked my feet a couple times. Didn't communicate one single thing, didn't even say hello or anything. She barley did anything during the pedicure either. and when I say anything i mean ANYTHING. My "massage" literally consisted of her ONLY applying lotion to both legs and that was it. She hardly clipped or clean my nails at all. Seriously the worrrrst pedicure. Then she proceeded to CLEAN the bowl while I was still seated and I asked if she would like me to move and she said "no". So I was uncomfortable and moved anyway... when I moved, this crazy ass lady AGGRESSIVELY GRABBED MY FEET! (HOW UNSANITARY, AND RUDE!!!!) I pulled my feet away from her so quick at this point i was pissed. I had already paid her.. grabbed my stuff and left. Such an uncomfortable and awkward experience. Disappointing to! If you need acrylic nail removal, don't come here. This was the only place that would do it for me right away, so I came in. They didn't soak my finger nails or anything, just took a pair of pliers and ripped a piece off. Then they took a fake plastic nail and dug in between my nail and the fake nail. MIND YOU WITHOUT OIL OR FUCKING ANYTHING TO LOSEN THE GLUE FROM MY NAIL. My nails were only a week old, so the nail was still fully stuck. It literally felt like my real nails were going to rip right off. My nails are in sooo much pain. Never again. read more

Got a pedicure before they had to close down the second time. I always go to Kitty, I like her. I think their prices had gone up $3 from the last time I had gone there, which I get since local businesses are kind of suffering. The most basic pedi was $20, now it's $23 if I remember correctly. So I just happened to find myself visiting a customer in Stockton, and in desperate need of a new set of talons. I was about to drive back and hit my DT Sacramento 'go to' spot, but decided to kill two birds with one stone... being that I am an avid user of Yelp, I came across Sonny @ Exotic Nails, and did just that. The salon is located in a fairly easy-to-find strip mall, with an okay parking situation. I had an appointment at noon and had to wait MAYBE 5 minutes. Kudos! Sonny greeted me with friendly sarcasm (which I speak fluently), and I instantly felt right at home. Sonny worked fast, but quality did not suffer because of this. He was able to remove my existing Shellac mess, hook me up with a new set, and have me out the door (with beautiful nails) within an hour (and under $40 with tip). The only downside to this kind of service? I think that I will find myself making the trip out to Stockton for my nails from here-on-out! Who would have thought?! read more

This is the best nail salon in Stockton! I was looking for someone reliable and able to take me when I needed my bails done and the shop I was going to canceled 20 minutes before my appointment. Terrible service. I just got my nails done with my cousin and the guy that did her nails was TERRIBLE AND SUPER RUDE. He kept saying he didn't care that I cared about the way he did my nails. Thank you to Sonny for fixing my nails so quick! I had gone to someone else at her nail salon and she did not do a job at all. Called Exotic Nails and they were able to squeeze me in within an hour! Sonny was quick and so precise, I absolutely love my nails now! :) They were also able to get my mom and sister in as well and their nail artists did an amazing job as well! When we call if they are available for "4 pedi's at the same time" does not mean do 3 pedi's first and leave 1 waiting.. if they don't have enough workers for 4 pedicures at the same time they should let us kno.. I'm a retired nail tech of 10yrs and this is not okay. read more

The main guy , might be the owner not sure , was very rude and unprofessional. He complained and made rude face gestures when I tried to explain what I wanted. The ladies who worked on our pedicure were rough and at one point Cindy left me to work on another girls nails. The place was slightly dirty. You can tell they hadn't wiped down their massage controllers and cup holders. The prices where too high for the quality they were providing. $15 just for gel. We're happy with the way our nails came out but considering all these factors we will never return again. read more

It's my second time coming here and the lady (I didn't get her name) made my toe bleed! She pulled out an ingrown nail and I started bleeding non stop. I've been to other salons and they've pulled out super long ingrown nail and it never bleeds. The fact that it was my second time here is very disappointing. read more

The lady claimed it was an ingrown. My daughter was confused. Once she got her glasses and noticed she rushed the pedicure and the workers were talking back and forth. I wish I had my translating ear buds on. Her toe was hurting walking and in the car I could see where her nail was cut and reshaped into the nail bed why it was bleeding. Black background was hr later. Blue back ground next day. Busy week so didn't go to the shop. Just went on to check if they responded, which they did but notice my full details we gone. The offer to redo the pedicure cause they were busy. If busy is half the shop empty. They do not have enough workers. No one should ever do someone service with our proper full vision. Why would my daughter want to go back and she had a dance performance she couldn't do now due to pain in her toe. My photo update that stayed basic said this service should never happen and hope they contact me. The details need to be known.

The tools used came right out of a package- not something I'm accustomed to but highly appreciative! Jenny did the pedicure- Happy with the results! (And she's really sweet!) When it came time for my new set, Alina took over. She looked at the design/color scheme I wanted and dove right in. I love that she chose the colors for my middle finger- It turned out exactly as I would have hoped! I think it's safe to say I've finally found a place that I'll consider my "go to" spot! He asks how your day is going and makes you feel comfortable from the moment you sit down. What I really appreciated is that he checks in, he asked if I liked the color, the look, everything. When he noticed I wasn't fully happy with the color, there was zero attitude. Instead, he took the time to make sure I got exactly what I wanted even after I changed it twice. That alone says a lot about his professionalism and kindness. This was my first time at this establishment, and everyone I observed was friendly and welcoming. It felt respectful and comfortable, unlike some places where staff talk in another language and you're left wondering what's being said. Here, I felt included and well taken care of. Honestly, part of me doesn't want to leave such a good review because I don't want it to get too busy and struggle to get an appointment but that would be selfish . I used to go to another salon in Tracy that was just okay, but after a rushed, disappointing repair on a broken nail, I decided to try somewhere new. I'm so glad I did. Nelson, Emmy, and Nina are amazing -- they're friendly, welcoming, and always make each visit a great experience. I usually stick to French tips or solid colors because I'm indecisive with colors, but they always do a beautiful job no matter what I choose. If you're looking for a new nail salon, I definitely recommend this place!
