I was leaving for a trip the same day and decided last minute that I wanted a manicure. This place was the only place that could take me last minute. The studio is nice and clean and quiet. I don't remember who did my manicure, but I was not impressed with it. She went way too fast and her work was not clean. All of my nails had bubbles on them!! My sister was also there and was not impressed with her manicure either. When I went to go the dryer, my manicurist brought my purse over and accidentally messed up one of my nails. I appreciated that she offered to redo it for me, but when she did, she didn't allow any time for the coats to dry in between so by the time she finished, I could see the top coat sliding off so it pretty much looked just as bad as when she messed it up. So when I got back from my trip, I had to remove my nail polish asap. Since I am a student at UOP, they did grant a student discount; however, I am not going to come back. read more

I needed to get a pedicure, and of course have been to this place because my estetician used to work from here. I have ways been impressed by how clean and open this bar was. I finally decided to go here for a gel mani and pedi. It was a great experience. A bit pricey, but here goes. 1. I had Christine, and she was very sweet and attentive. She asked me several times if I wanted a drink, or snack. Although I declined she did let me know to tell her if at any point I did then she would get me something. 2. The pedicure was great! She has a really gentle yet firm touch. She asked me if I wanted my toenails clipped lower of just filed. See I keep my toenails shirt, and I always clip them prior to a pedicure because they are never clipped low enough. I really appreciate her asking instead of trying to clip my toenails even shorter which would've resulted in my being cut. She rubbed she massaged... She scrubbed I mean she really took her time and I at no time felt rushed. 3. The manicure was awesome as the pedicure. I have always hated getting my nails done because of that dreaded cuticle pusher, and the heavy duty clipper that looks like a power tool. I surprisingly didn't realize she was using it until she was almost done with one hand. Not one time did she nic me which I appreciate because it hurts like hell when your nail tech is going to fast and nics you. She took her time and made sure she didn't hurt me, or cut my cuticles down to low. 4. It was a bit pricey at $65 plus what I tipped. But I think it was worth it because she really put a great effort into making me comfortable, ad well as took her time. 5. The place is very clean. They use plastics bags over the pedicure bowls, and clean tools. The massage chairs are awesome with different types of massages. Overall I think I have found my go to place for my pedis and manis. Decided to try this place out after all these good yelps showed up at 10:40 and waited 30 mins for someone to start on my nails while I was the only one there likely, the nail tech (May) showed up and got started on my nails right away. She did an awesome job and had some great convo. Something that's hard to find while getting your nails done. Definitely will be coming back. Thanks May. So after a week my nails look like they've been run down I noticed bumps, unevenness, and faded out color not to mention the acrylic on the sides that weren't even filed right now colored in. Definitely not going back. Sucks that I tried to give them a chance after waiting a whole 40 mins for someone to assist me and not even end up getting a discount when the manager said she would. So my best friends always go here and I rarely get my nails done bc I work with my hands a lot but my boyfriend was sweet enough to "force" me to a nail treat on him lol plus I have a little break which allows me to get a manicure as well. Got this offer from GroupOn for a mani & pedi. Nice business on Pacific Ave. across SaveMart. Loved the massaging chair, leg & arm massage with scented scrubs and the paraffin foot wax. Not too happy how my nails came out and maybe because I choose "regular" nail polish instead of gel (which I have gotten the last 3 times, but not by thus business) Anyway the regular polish looked great but after the top coat went on it looked bumpy (could have been from the sanding off the my previous gel polish??) It seemed like it was not hardening after 10 minutes and I was moved to another drying area and I bumped my nail on the edge and messed up my thumb nail. She fixed it And sprayed nail hardener to help dry it faster but I could tell it was thick with polish & top coat and felt soft. And the trimming around the finger cuticles was not as clean as other places I have been to. The lady was very nice and was constantly making sure I was comfortable and nothing was hurting me. It took 2hours, (which has been the norm for mani & pedi) I will give this place another try, maybe I choose the wrong type of polish (need to do gel cause it lasts longer, 1 month and actually it still looked great but my nails grew out 1/2 inch). I asked how long these would last and she said no guarantees but 3-5 days, cause it may chip. That's why I should have had gel done. Update: played golf that same day and it totally ruined that one thumb nail and additional nicks on other nails (I knew it wasn't hard dried enough). Couldn't stand how badly it looked and took it all off the next day. Note to self; when you see a rotary sander come out to take off your nail polish, DO NOT do it!!!! And noticed that my toe nail polish also got smooshed but it wasn't as noticeable as my nails. And my nails are so beat up now from the sanding, I am letting them go natural until they grow out. (They are splitting, breaking and weaken from the sanding) read more

Very friendly atmosphere, really nice interior, great location entering the Miracle Mile. We both had pedicure and Manicure from Arunee, she is 100% attentive , professional and pleasant. I never felt like I was being pushed through , Very relaxing , high quality massage chairs and foot saunas too. Mary is really friendly and nice too ! There is an assortment of services in this salon and the interior has a really cool theme. One evening in December while driving down the street my son had a seizure in the car and this had never happened. I Panicked and I stopped and this nail salon was the only thing open, so I ran into that shop with my son passed out in my arms and no one hesitated to help me! They talked to 911 and tried to calm me down and even went out to my car and turned it off and grabbed my purse and they kept calling my family members trying to reach them for me and most importantly they helped keep my son safe! I received a Groupon as a gift for a mani/spa pedi. This was my first visit to A List. I called and made an appointment. I called during spring break, but Arunee assisted me and was able to get me an appointment that worked with my work hours. She was very nice and very helpful. My overall experience was great. I enjoyed the quiet and peaceful atmosphere. The staff doesn't pressure you with add on services like other salons, so I was able to relax and enjoy my experience. The only thing I would change is the massage portion. I wish it was longer. The massage only last for 2-3 minutes for both mani and pedi; however I did have a Groupon so that can be it. Arunee and Christine are THE BEST - not just in the Stockton/Lodi area, but anywhere. I live in Sacramento and work at UOP and my nails are always done at A List Nail Bar. You are always taken care of here: offered water or tea and they make sure you are comfortable while they precisely beautify are always your nails. They can do it all: acrylic, gel, design, manicure, pedicure, waxing and eye lashes. Last week, Arunee came in on a Tuesday (when they are normally closed) to do my nails! Prices are excellent for the quality and I believe University of the Pacific students get a discount on their services. read more

I made an appointment prior, but winded up being about 5-7 mins late cirlcing around for parking. I had to wait about an hour before service, and there were only 2 workers. I was LIVID but I wasn't to going to waste my $$ (my voucher was redeemed prior to my wait time). Fortunately the other nail tech stepped in to service me. Thank God lol because my attitude was pretty bad at that point. Overall I was satisfied with my mani-pedi. She waived the $5 gel removal charge for patiently waiting. I love my nails and the lady who did them too. I love that this salon was able to take me for an appointment at the very last minute. I'm pretty much happy with everything even there prices aren't that bad. However the only thing I wish was different is my nails. I love them but I wish they were done closer to my cuticle. She's very professional and called me hours ahead of time to let me know they were running behind and asked if it was ok to push the appointment back. I appreciate that kind of care. We were offered a drink when we entered and I immediately felt at ease. I had Christine and she was VERY good. Sometimes I have issues with how ppl cut my nails but I have no complaints! She was very attentive and I never flat rushed, she took her time. I LOVE that their basic pedis include the paraffin wax AND the sugar scrub! For under $30 too!! This is strictly one star for my only experience with cluster lash extensions Got the cluster lashes paid $30 for it to last 3 uncomfortable days. Atleast I know I tried it and don't like it. It looked nicely applied, but when I decided to take them off (OUCH!) I can see the clumpy layer of glue and it was just not the best application. Now my eyes can breathe. RIP TO MY 10-15 lashes. The ladies are very friendly and very accommodating offering me a free drink snacks free Wi-Fi.
