I booked a HydroFacial based on the services they offer on their website. My facial was great, however, when I went to check out they charged me for a HydraFacial, which is apparently different and more expensive. The HydroFacial is offered at $130 for 60 minutes. The HydraFacial isn't even shown as an offered service on their website and is $189. Also, my facial was only 50 minutes. Not a huge deal because I enjoyed my facial but I feel like this is really misleading, especially since the increased cost was a big surprise and I was shortened on time on top of that. read more

I rarely do reviews but I had to do one just based off of my experience with Julie. I don't typically get facials much but wanted to start pampering myself more and working on all my aging problematic skin. First she took the time to talk me through and assess what would be best to start with my skin and see what it can handle initially. She was very knowledgeable but yet comforting. Then all the fancy skin magic happened. She made me feel so relaxed and the ambiance in her room was so nice. The products she used on my skin felt nice too! I came out of my session feeling like my skin was glowing and softer and not as textured as it was initially. Couldn't help by book my next one right away with Julie. Can't wait for the next! I decided to pamper myself today and got a facial from "Skinned by Alyssa"......I have aging skin so I got the 90 min Tri-fective Intensive Corrector and I've had a lot of facials and this one, by far has been the best facial I've ever received. Alyssa's has a gentle, soothing touch and really took her time to ensure an optimal experience. I got the best massage as well.....my arms and hands felt like butter after she was done. The spa is beautiful, the room was dim, calm, peaceful with perfect serenity and parking!! Downtown Lodi and this place is right next door to public 3 hour free parking. I moved from the Bay Area to Calaveras county and needed to find new everything. One of my best finds was Jodi from Dermal Clinic for my facials and eye brow maintenance. What a pampering and relaxing facial with massage on shoulders, neck and arms! You have to get the hour and a half because it's too wonderful to be any shorter! The interior of the building is well kept and decorative, feels Victorian in style. But Jodie's treatment room is fresh and modern, a total zen getaway. I love the calming colors and wonderful clean and nice smell of her treatment room. Clean would be the key descriptive word of everything. I love all the products she uses during my facials, and especially the microdermabrasion treatment that leaves my face smooth and radiant. My brows are shaped nicely and I look so radiant afterwards. Yvonne still rocks it even though it had been a good year since I'd been into see her for a glycolic peel & facial; she hasn't changed a bit nor has the fact that she still gives the best facials I've ever had; to date.... I would have been back sooner however with multiple moves of cities and homes my beauty regimen took a hit.... But I'm back! I also appreciate that when I commit to regular facials and pay cash which isn't an issue for me that my facials are $55 for the hour long appointment and seeings as how I drive a ways to make it to her it helps.... But you have to commit and not be a flake just to save a few bucks as her word has always been golden and as is mine so it's a win-win..... On this trip however I had a wake-up call which although I knew something was up with my skin just wasn't sure what it was... The skin around my eyes in particular was really looking dry and felt tight since beginning a new prescription from my dermatologist several months ago... Under Yvonne's lights it became apparent: The RX from my doc had sucked the moisture right out of my skin... Alot! Relief flooded over me as I had been feeling like I was prematurely aging in the area around my eyes but in fact I'm not its just localized dehydration.. Whew! bullet dodged..... She told me what to do to protect the area from my RX that I still need to use but has caused the dryness and it's working..... Although I now live in Sacramento I won't be having my monthly facials here in Sac but instead already scheduled with Yvonne as although I do like to do business in my local area and support local communities the 50 minute drive one way is beyond worth it for me as my skin looks amazingly fresh, dewy, healthy and youthful even for my 42.5 years thus far and that's in part due to Yvonne and her mastery of the skill-set of facials... The fact that Yvonne is so honest, warm, welcoming, skilled and has amazing 'energy' is also what keeps me coming back to her time and time again..... And the fact that I always pass out during the process and awake refreshed & freshly facial'd is an added bonus as the bed filled with the softest most plush and enveloping down feather-like material is beyond heavenly ;) read more

Soon as I step in the door I was greeted with top notch customer service, and asked if I wanted water then I was escorted upstairs to wait for my esthetician. The entire place is so beautiful, cozy,and very tidy. Alyssa is so kind and listen to alL my concerns about what options I wanted to explore for my facial and she gave me great info. I'm compelled to spend my Friday evening writing a review for the dermal clinic, because I couldn't be more pleased with my experience there today. My friend recommended I see Judy for a facial, after expressing a need for some self care. After babies, nursing, sleep deprivation, and the ever-encompassing tolls of motherhood, I realized it was time to get my light back. My friend trusted Judy implicitly, which made the experience that much more helpful. She took the reigns, with someone who had really no clue what she needed walking in there. She is very thorough with extractions and guess what, it wasn't very painful! One thing I also like is that they do not push you to buy their products. This is a great little spa and such a gem to discover in Lodi. I'd moved into the area recently and didn't know where to even start looking, but one of the ladies at the Hutchins Square pool recommended Kari and I gave the spa a try. I'm so glad I did! It's tastefully appointed, and makes you feel pampered from the minute you walk through the door. My daughter and I have had great experiences with ALL of the estheticians we've seen. We had our eyebrows tinted and waxed and they came out perfectly. No burning or ripped skin, and they look natural, not surprised. The owner works there as well, and she's a very warm and professional person who does great skin-care. My face felt baby-soft when I left. We've been back several times now, and I won't even bother trying anywhere else! Praises! Oh - as for disability access...much of the clinic is upstairs, but they *do* have a downstairs treatment room. I had a broken leg and was actually on a walker when I had my first visit last year, but they totally made accomodations for me, and the therapists even switched rooms so I could be comfortable.
