This is typically my go to spot, but definitely not today! I got a gel manicure and regular pedicure and when she was doing my manicure, she made me bleed in two different places using an extremely abrasive file and never apologized. She put some powder on it and kept going. I'm going to my brother's wedding this weekend so definitely disappointed. Technicians name was Vivian. She was on her phone at one point and was just rushing the whole time. Tina did my pedicure and that was really nice, but I will definitely go somewhere else next time! Very disturbed. read more

Friendly team was about to take me in for a walk in pedicure. Had reference photo of exactly what I wanted. Nail tech failed to add ANY nude base layer for a French style. The French tip was very thick and uneven. The flowers are ok but not as good as the reference photo. Big concerns were with hygiene. There was no plastic bag in foot spa, tools were reused and briefly cleaned with same sponge as scrubbed the tub after the pedicure. Detail brush put into some chemical bottle directly. Then to dry I was told the regular (non gel) polish would dry with UV light. This is entirely false. Will not be returning. read more

Very bad service ! The owner Te was very mean and had a threatening demeanor! Don't dare to say that you don't like the service and ask for any changes ! She will flip out and will physically try to take your polish off! My shoulder actually hurts because the way she took my hand and tried to take off the polish . I would suggest Lauren as the best for acrylic and nail art, then MK is great too. The others I've tried are never as good, and Nee left to work somewhere else. I think their prices are too high for pedicures, so I prefer Elizabeth Nails for that now. read more

I asked my nail tech if she did brow waxing. She said that she isn't licensed, but her coworker is. That "licensed" waxing technician destroyed my brows. I asked her to just clean up the area around the brows and take very little off. She took the tail completely off one brow and waxed the other end of that same brow too far in from the bridge of my nose. It will take months for this to grow back, if it does at all. She even stopped to take a call during the service and talked with her ear bugs in as she worked. Avoid this business! read more

So, I feel so bad cause I had so many errands yesterday, I didn't get there till 4:45. I told them if they didn't have time, I would come back. They willingly took me for a gel manicure and pedicure. I waited to review because I wanted to make sure by going to different ladies that they were good. I've had 4 different ladies work on me and they all did a great job. Never have I ever left a nail salon without my nails actually done despite paying full price. They refused to soak off my friends acrylic nail despite their being an infection underneath it due to them refusing to remove the powder weeks ago. We have been coming to this salon for 2 years and today just made it clear we will never come back. The nail techs refused to soak this one nail off for weeks and week after week we would come back get nails done and tip generously despite them being very adamant about not removing her fake nail. Today we come and keep reiterating we need the fake nail removed as it has been months at this point and clearly infected. They started freaking out saying we are the cause of the infection (we don't care who caused the infection the point is we needed the nail removed). Then they call the owner who proceeds to escalate the situation with the most unprofessional threatening demeanor. Yelling across the salon that she will not give her a manicure now because it will take too long to soak off the one nail and that they will not give her a pedicure either. I have NEVER seen someone get so angry and immature over one single nail. Of course after being this uncomfortable I wanted to just pay for the massage i had received and leave as soon as possible. My nail tech insisted on me finishing the service and then called me "B*tch" after numerous no thank you's. Then they charged us the full price despite only receiving a soak and massage due to the refusal to polish. Absolutely disgusting service. The owner should be ashamed of herself. read more

Shoutout to Finishing Touch by Lowe's for a great job. I went in on a BUSY Sunday, every chair was taken. I didn't have an appointment. I told them I wanted a gel manicure and someone promptly escorted me to another little room and began working on me right away. I chose a color, it was very sheer and my tech recommended something similar that was a little more opaque. She did a beautiful job. Fast forward to 4 weeks later and my gel manicure is going strong with no chipping or peeling in sight (UPDATE: I let these grow out because I wanted to see how long the polish would last.. They lasted close to 6 weeks and would have lasted longer but I couldn't stand my nails not looking fresh!). They are a little pricier but I surely appreciate a gel manicure that lasts this long!! I decided to try Finishing Touch for the first time today, as the regular nail place that I go to is closed on Sunday. I called ahead for an appointment, and I'm glad that I did because it was fairly busy! My nail tech was named Angel. I brought in a picture of a nail color that I wanted and she did her best to match it! She gave me different options for the sparkled polish as well, and even tried a few choices on a couple of nails to make sure I saw all the choices. So nice! She gave a great hand and arm massage as well, about 5-7 min per hand! :) I loved the environment at this nail spa, and I will now be a regular here! I have gone here multiple times for manicures and pedicures, however after this last experience I won't be going back! I called and asked if they had time for a polish change on my nails and toes. They told me to come right in, once I got there it was like no one wanted to do my service. The first girl, didn't take my polish off fully and cut my cuticle when she was buffing the surface of my nails. The whole time she was working on my nails she was arguing with the manager in their language and then she just got up and left and didn't come back. This place is impressive at first. I mean it's clean and there are plenty of employees which is good for last minute appointments. Some of the associates are sweet but most lack customer service. I recently had a horrid experience where after three days of getting a manicure , my nail polish turned brown! I do not smoke , play in dirt , or dye my hair but when I came up there they tried to blame me for everything under the sun. I literally asked them to simply fix instead of refunding me and they did so but with a attitude. Then for the whole hour I was getting my nails done, I got so many dirty looks and then blatantly snarking and talking about me in their language. This used to be the place to go! Unfortunately it has drastically gone down hill. My grandma, aunt, and I have been coming here for years. We all go together to get pedicures. The last 4-5 times have been absolutely awful! Yesterdays experience made us realize we won't be going back. The staff and techs are very rude. It's clear they just want you to come in and quickly get out. They didn't ask us what package we wanted or if we wanted gel. The water was cold! We all asked multiple times to please make it warmer and they roll their eyes and acted like we were such a bother because we didn't want to soak in COLD water! All of us have aching, sore toes this morning from them literally digging in them. It was so painful! The massage is the best part about getting g a pedicure and none of us got anywhere near a decent massage. My tech barely rubbed my leg with as minimal touching as possible and then was done. The lady who brought my grandma the receipt was hovering and my grandma was so uncomfortable. She asked her to back up a little and she would bring her the receipt with the tip written in in a moment. The lady refused to back away out of her space until she had the receipt in her hands and she scowled the whole time.
