I finally had the chance to treat myself to a visit today, and it definitely lived up to my expectations. I especially enjoyed the themed rooms throughout the spa. My favorite was the cold room as it was incredibly refreshing, especially on such a hot California day. The entire experience was relaxing, clean, and just what I needed. I'm already looking forward to coming back, and next time I plan to bring my parents so they can enjoy the experience as well. Thank you, Spa Hue, for such a wonderful visit!

I left with a heat induced migraine. My family and I visit this spa often, but after today we will be reconsidering. We had to leave early since the heat and stuffiness was unbearable. It's so warm in the main area, it's the same temperature as outside (where there's a heat advisory) and it's almost the same temp as the charcoal room. The charcoal room actually felt cooler because it felt less stuffy. The cold room was almost room temp and was packed with people trying to cool off. Multiple people were fanning themselves or drenched with sweat. We've asked multiple times for the AC to be lowered, where staff informed us that it was the lowest the AC could go. No other measures were taken to help with the heat, no fans or anything were put out. Our family came to celebrate two birthdays and were hoping to relax. We were not able to relax at all and instead wasted $200 at this not enjoyable establishment. We asked if we could get a partial refund, which the spa stated they could not. They offered us travel size soaps as an apology, which I declined.

Recently discovered a hidden wellness gem inside Pacific Palms Resort -- Sally Spa, and I have to…read moreshare. It was even featured in Beef on Netflix, so it already comes with that cinematic, aesthetic atmosphere The moment you walk in, you can feel the difference. The entire spa is designed with natural elements -- crystal chandeliers, wooden walls, and an impressive collection of over 500-year-old antiques. It doesn't feel like a typical commercial spa at all, more like a quiet, curated sanctuary for the mind. They also have separate lounges for men and women, which makes the whole experience feel more private and refined. The essential oils used are from doTERRA -- clean, natural, and not overpowering. I tried their 90-minute "Fresh Ginger & Mugwort Herbal Massage," and the whole treatment follows a very thoughtful, traditional wellness flow: It starts with freshly ground ginger applied to the body to warm you up from within -- you can literally feel the cold leaving your body Then comes hot stone therapy to raise your body temperature and deeply relax your muscles Finally, warm mugwort herbal compresses are used along pressure points, inspired by traditional Chinese medicine, leaving your body feeling light and rebalanced My therapist Tina had a very gentle and soothing technique -- not overly intense, but incredibly effective. The relaxation actually lasted longer, which is perfect if you've been stressed or not sleeping well. And honestly, the resort itself adds so much to the experience There are two 18-hole championship golf courses, plus private one-on-one yoga sessions -- it truly feels like a full-on retreat. The best part? For a resort-level spa like this, the pricing is actually very reasonable -- great value for what you get. In one sentence: This isn't just a massage -- it's a full mind-and-body reset. If you've been feeling drained or just want to escape LA for a bit, this place is absolutely worth saving

He concentrated on all of my problem areas and I felt happy and relaxed afterwards. The quiet room is clean and comfy and I was given a tasty little fruit cup. Now the bad: The price for a massage is reasonable, but you must pay an additional 39.00 if you want a to use their lockers or robe, take a shower or use the jacuzzi. This was unexpected and confusing. Before arriving, I had called for clarification of this policy and was only told that they would charge 39.00 for use of the jacuzzi. I had no idea that I wouldn't be given a robe or allowed to shower without paying the extra fee. I'm in a spa club and I have never run into this issue before. This confusion may have been due to a language barrier. The shower area has a sign saying that you must run the hot water for 10-15 minutes to obtain hot water (!). I did so and still had to take a cold shower because the water never got hot. The only towels available are very small and very thin. They are not large enough to wrap around your body. The jacuzzi area shows deferred maintenance with broken tile, missing robe hooks and mold/mildew on the ceiling between the jacuzzi and the showers (ick). This is a nice facility, but the policies are confusing and it's sadly lacking in general upkeep. (See pics)

They weren't prepared for the amount of people scheduled to be in the room. They were short one chair for my husband. My hubby and I waited patiently outside the room for them to bring him a chair while everyone else went in. By the time they set up his chair, everyone was already lying down in their chairs with their blankets and eyes closed. My husband's chair was placed in the back of the room right under the fountain light. Before I had a chance to say something, they announced, we will be closing the door and shutting off the lights. Therefore, I didn't say anything, assuming this would include the fountain light my hubby was under. It wasn't. His light remained on. He tried his best to use the blanket he grabbed to cover his eyes from the brightness. I couldn't enjoy my own experience knowing he was placed in such an awkward position in the room. Once the session was over, I kindly asked the staff member to stay back so I can show her that his chair was placed right under the light in an awkward corner of the room. She immediately said, well you could have moved the chair around. We actually couldn't have based on the size of the room and them bringing us in at a later time, when everyone was already laying down in their chairs with their blankets. Overall, I tried to voice our disappointment with the experience in a respectful and discreet way. The employee became defensive instead of listening to our concerns. She chose to argue back. The employee finally said sorry once we were at the check out counter in-front of everyone, making it more awkward for me & my husband. We paid everything in advance, and when we were trying to leave, she stopped us and said she needed to check we were good to go. Making us stay there longer, just waiting. We don't recommend this place due to the customer service. They only offered a 50 discount for a future experience with an expiration date. We don't plan to come back.

At first, I wanted to keep the same masseuse, but when she's not available, I have others - and so far, ALL OF THEM have been GREAT at giving massages! No matter who I get, I never leave feeling it was better or worse than the last. Today, they got me and my BFF in for 2 / 90 minute massages and we both left feeling so relaxed! I've been dealing with a shoulder/neck issue and the owner hooked me up with a mini pressure point session with a natural oil. The tension release was amazing!!! Please pay them a visit, I doubt you would be disappointed!

His wife Stacy was also personable and very nice. My masseuse Coco was good (7.5 out of 10). I communicated with her about the level of pressure and she accommodated me. She offered to get me a glass of water during the massage as I started coughing (dry throat) which was thoughtful of her. She was quiet except when asking if I was doing ok which I appreciated. My husband's masseuse, Anna, didn't speak English but he managed to communicate with her a few words. He was pleased with his massage. The spa is very clean which was very important to us. The lighting is appropriate and so is the music. Prices are reasonable. What I didn't like too much: 1) The masseuse left the room during the massage to get the hot stones without saying a word. Left me wonder where did she go? 2) When I paid Chan at the front desk, in cash per his request, both masseuse were standing there waiting for their tips....awkward. I tipped 20% . My impression was that they weren't pleased, based on their reaction. Coco didn't even say thank you. I didn't like that. So, in my opinion, there are two opportunities there: 1) communicate when you leave the massage room. 2) provide a tip envelope in each room. Tipping should be discreet.
