Sadly, I got no help from Henry and was left highly disappointed and upset with my experience. The first time I saw Henry, he attempted to misdiagnose me with fibromyalgia when I clarified I had already been to see licensed medical professionals and was in the process of being tested, and no one had diagnosed me with it. It made me uncomfortable that he disregarded this information and jumped to this conclusion so quickly and arrogantly. He minimized my pain by making one of the most unprofessional comments I have ever heard, by insinuating that I could not actually be in a lot pain because I had never done sports. According to him, only people who have done sports in their life and gotten injured truly know pain. Why should I have to prove to you Henry that I feel pain? What about people with various other illnesses? Are they not allowed to feel pain because they haven't done sports? I came to you to help manage my pain, not to be medically gaslit. Henry continued to make various unprofessional comments during this appointment, not only asking me if I planned to have children, but more specifically HOW I planned to have children. Excuse me? Do you think it is appropriate to ask women about their fertility issues while they are trying to get a massage from you Henry? Because of his inappropriate comments, I stayed mostly quiet throughout this appointment because of how highly uncomfortable I was made to feel. I gave this man the benefit of the doubt by going to him a second time because I was DESPERATE for a good massage therapist. I regretted that decision very quickly. During my second appt Henry refused to continue to provide his services to me because I was honest on how his method of PEMF had caused me pain. Also, not once did I receive a proper massage, because my time was wasted with random breathing exercises or the PEMF. His reasonings for not wanting to help me were that he did not think his methods would help my nerve pain, but this was clearly bs. Again I paid for a MASSAGE, not what you were trying to sell me. If this is the type of treatment you are forcing onto your clients, that should be made clear on your website so nobody wastes their time like I did. If you choose you don't like one of his treatment methods, he will not only REFUSE to accommodate you, he will also "fire" you as a client. Also, by the way Henry, have you ever heard of INFORMED CONSENT ? I had specifically communicated to you at the beginning of my second session that I wanted to know what to expect during this appointment, but was blatantly ignored. I was not given any information about this PEMF technique prior to him using it on me. He only explained what this PEMF was AFTER he had begun using it on me. His disregard for my consent not only made me very uncomfortable, but resulted in my back pain worsening. I could go on and on about the complete lack of respect Henry had with me, including a complete lack of bedside manners and unprofessionalism. I was never once rude to Henry or unprofessional with him to merit this type of treatment. I sincerely hope Henry that you become more self aware to the things you say to your clients who are in a vulnerable state and are coming to see you for help, NOT to be gaslit, mistreated, and disrespected, like you were with me.

She went last night and had her first appointment with Jeremiah. She has chronic pain due to depression, anxiety, and a variety of other health concerns. Jeremiah set the tone by asking what her goals were for her massage, and allowing her to completely feel whatever she needed to feel while he worked on her pain through out her body. She spoke highly of the facility, the staff, and the care that was taken on her visit. I want to thank the staff and Jeremiah for having my daughter in such good hands and care. The trust this establishment cultivated with her was enough for me to know they care. Truly care. I'll be making an appointment for myself in the near future as I myself have fibromyalgia and deal with a great deal of pain myself.

Since this interaction with you, the business owner, is by extension an experience…read moreI'm having with Kneads Work, I believe it's appropriate to add this updated review: Mr. Larry, I'm going to respond directly to several points because your reply contains contradictions and mischaracterizes what I actually wrote. First, your comment implying that because I fell asleep my recollection is somehow unreliable is both dismissive and contradictory. You state my falling asleep makes it "difficult to determine how much you actually remember," then say you "won't argue that point" after doing just that. It was a nap, Sir, not a coma. Falling asleep during portions of a two-hour massage does not somehow prevent me from accurately assessing the overall pressure, how little time was spent on the areas I specifically requested, or how my body felt when I left. Those are the central issues I raised. Second, you acknowledged that Chris "had been struggling" with pressure calibration during training. That directly validates the primary criticism in my review rather than undermines it. Third, your repeated emphasis that I answered "yes" when asked if things were okay ignores the context I already explained. Yes, I acknowledged I could have been more explicit when Chris asked whether things felt "ok." I took accountability for that. But "ok" is an inherently vague check-in. So given how vaguely that was phrased, I interpreted it as a comfort check, not a technical question about treatment depth. A therapist working with someone who explicitly disclosed thoracic outlet issues should communicate with much greater specificity if pressure depth is being calibrated. You and your past therapists were quite capable of understanding this, Sir. Fourth, I did not indict your entire business. I explicitly referenced positive past experiences and explained that those experiences are exactly why this visit was disappointing. That's honest context, not an attack. Fifth, my pricing criticism was never about transparency. I knew the listed cost. My point was that the service delivered did not justify that cost based on what was requested and what was actually provided. Posted pricing does not exempt a business from value-based criticism. Yes, including how your prices haven't changed for some time, Sir. Asking why I tipped is also not the strong point you seem to think it is. Many people tip out of courtesy, awkwardness, or because disappointment is processed more clearly after leaving. A tip is not automatic evidence of satisfaction. Not sure how questioning me doing a nice thing was worth you pointing it out. Perhaps you can explain the logic behind this. Your suggestion that I should have complained privately instead of posting a public review misunderstands the purpose of public reviews. They exist for clients to honestly document their experiences, positive or negative. Since I'm a paying customer, not your employee, going to yelp to share my experience shouldn't be frowned upon by you. For added context to what I told Chris, when he asked me "how I felt," I specifically said without any abrasive or rude tone, "I don't think you're a bad person at all, I just didn't get the massage I asked for, so I intend to leave a review." As advice, it's actually you that could've reached out (you have my entire contact information) or left a message saying you'd like to rectify this matter and get better understanding of the experience after my review. I never cared for a free massage. Instead, I was more than willing to change my review after you demonstrated any good faith attempt in rectifying this matter. I assumed a business owner as successful as yourself understood how to navigate this sort of issue. Which leads me to my next point. Most concerning was your decision to publicly mention staffing consequences involving Chris. Whether that was meant as explanation or implication, internal personnel decisions are yours alone and should not be framed in a way that attempts to place that burden on a client for leaving honest feedback. Hope you absorb that advice. My original review was detailed, measured, and even acknowledged where I could have communicated more clearly during the session, while expressly avoiding personal attacks. That is accountability on my part. Thank you for illuminating me to the thought process you harbor when confronting unfavorable reviews like mine. It might've been to much to expect a simple acknowledgment that the session missed the mark and that communication broke down on both sides. Instead, much of your response focused on deflecting responsibility, questioning my credibility, and reframing legitimate criticism as "destructive." I stand by my review because it accurately reflects the experience. Hope this removes some of the things that were "difficult to determine." You have my contact if you care to continue this, Sir. Either way, thank you.

I recently have been here twice now and the older lady worked on me both times. She cuts corners with massaging to where I have left now both times feeling more uncomfortable than I did going in. And on top of it, she uses a thick blanket as a barrier that you can barely feel anything. She also acts like it's an inconvenience to get a massage with her. I know she probably has been doing it for a while but she has lost her touch but It's to the point you're either going in for an amazing massage with the younger lady or a terrible massage where she doesn't even hit all the spots. Respectfully, she should no longer be handling the massages and just stay up front helping assist. I either need to see change or I will no longer be recommending this place and going here.
