I've been a member/ using Kneadz Work as a form of healing for about 5 years now. I've seen multiple therapist throughout that time, and for that reason I feel my review is long overdue. I currently book my massages with JEREMIAH. My reasons for switching therapist aren't for lack of loving that person and their techniques, it's strictly for scheduling purposes or my ability to make appointment days or times. Although Jeremiah is semi new to his career as a massage therapist, he truly understands the importance of making a difference in his clients quality of life. I don't have a membership to Kneadz Work to go once a month, relax, and get my back tickled. I have a membership because I have real injuries, real pain, and a desire for relief. I had an amazing experience at Kneadz work with Jeremiah, a truly skilled technician. In the beginning of our session he asked what I wanted to address. I told him my middle back and neck hold a lot of tension. Jeremiah listened intently and asked follow up questions to make sure he was going to target the right area. He worked methodically throughout the session, getting under the muscle and releasing tension, followed by guasha and cupping. He checked in with me throughout the session to ensure I was okay with the pressure. Jeremiah's technique released so much tightness in my middle back and my neck. At the end of the session, I noticed my almost frozen back was noticeably looser and more mobile than before the session. Got an appointment same day! It is a little tricky to find as it's inside a business park, but the vibe was awesome--low lighting, chill music, and a really relaxing atmosphere. I don't typically see a male massage therapist, but I'm SO glad Jeremiah was available. He was amazing! I've had plenty of massages before and honestly most of them feel the same...a routine, surface-level experience where they just go through the motions. Lily is the complete opposite of that. She doesn't just massage you. She studies your body while she's working and somehow finds the actual source of the pain, tension, or imbalance instead of just rubbing where it hurts. First, your comment implying that because I fell asleep my recollection is somehow unreliable is both dismissive and contradictory. You state my falling asleep makes it "difficult to determine how much you actually remember," then say you "won't argue that point" after doing just that. It was a nap, Sir, not a coma. Falling asleep during portions of a two-hour massage does not somehow prevent me from accurately assessing the overall pressure, how little time was spent on the areas I specifically requested, or how my body felt when I left. Those are the central issues I raised. Second, you acknowledged that Chris "had been struggling" with pressure calibration during training. That directly validates the primary criticism in my review rather than undermines it. Third, your repeated emphasis that I answered "yes" when asked if things were okay ignores the context I already explained. Yes, I acknowledged I could have been more explicit when Chris asked whether things felt "ok." I took accountability for that. But "ok" is an inherently vague check-in. So given how vaguely that was phrased, I interpreted it as a comfort check, not a technical question about treatment depth. Other massage places that I've been to seem like they genuinely wanted to get me out as quickly as possible by starting 10 minutes past the appointment time and ending anywhere between 5 to 10 minutes earlier. NOT HERE. Every time I've book I get my moneys worth without even having to ask. I actually have a monthly membership here, and I don't buy memberships. The staff here are experienced, knowledgeable, and attentive. During different appointments, Miriam and Amanda have worked on different areas of my body depending on my requested needs for that month. They're personable and nonjudgmental. I've came here during an extremely bad eczema flare up; not a problem at all, they allowed me to bring my own facial towel because I felt uncomfortable with my skin touching the sheets. You have song requests , they'll play it. You want to sleep during your session go ahead. You want to talk and chit chat you can do that too. You can even bring your own lotion if you prefer a specific one. I can't say enough good things about this location. I went in for my first therapy massage, and it was the best experience I've ever had in my life. Lily was the one who assisted with my massage and focused on the areas that needed to be worked out, since I work at a recreation center where I deal with kids. I cannot recommend this place enough! I was dealing with intense sciatic pain & so much pressure in my back. I had been searching everywhere for relief, & as it was getting late & raining, I decided to take a leap of faith & try this place. Let me just say--BEST. DECISION. EVER. I've tried other places in the past, but nothing has come close to this experience. Amanda is incredible! She knew exactly how to move my hips & legs, targeting my psoas & hip area in a way that provided instant relief. I literally felt tingling in my brain from how much tension was released! And the way she maneuvered me--she didn't literally fold me like a pretzel, but I definitely found myself moving in ways I didn't think were physically possible. At one point, I just had to trust the process because I had no idea my body could even bend like that. But wow, it felt amazing. On top of that, she was super nice, & we had a great conversation, which made the experience even better! I know people say that bodywork can make you feel worse before you feel better, & I did experience some soreness the next day. But even with that, I felt so much more mobile & had minimal sciatic pain--just a soreness that actually felt productive, like my body was adjusting. Now, three days post-massage, I'm still a little sore, but wow, I feel amazing. The craziest part? She didn't even focus on my neck or shoulders, & yet I feel so much less tense overall! Customer service was excellent and she really took her time on my problematic areas. Even tried out a few different techniques to see which one my body best responded to. Based on the reviews alone I found this place to be knowledgeable and great place to send my husband for a massage. I bought him a gift certificate last Valentine's Day. Took him forever to book an appointment. He was seen on 01/26/26. That very next day half his face was numb and the other half was swollen and droopy. When the aftermath didn't subside we decided the hospital was the next step. He went to urgent care and was immediately sent to the ER, ruling out a stroke, however was diagnosed with Bells Palsy. As the focus of my husband's treatment was around his neck, we were told excessive pressure and/or misdirected pressure could cause such an episode. I called the office on 02/02/26 to advise them of the event. I was told to email the owner directly and I would get a response. I emailed the owner Larry that same day, and crickets. No email back. I would think being the owner of an establishment that this complaint would have been handled with much more care and concern. I was wrong. We won't be back. 02/16- The Owner Larry contacted me last night and explained that he did not get word of my call and my email was never received. It was found that his staff did not provide accurate information including his email address. Nor supplied his phone number to me as they are instructed to do so with concerns like my own. He seemed genuinely concerned and will be addressing this matter with his staff. We were provided with a full refund, which was greatly appreciated. This place has literally changed my life!! I've been consistently going to Kneadz Work for over a year now. I have come in to see Lily about 4x now. After every visit with her I notice more positive changes in my cervical muscles. I have a preliminary diagnosis of occipital neuralgia and in working with Lily I have noticed improvements in range of motion, less brain fog, and headaches. My husband and I were due for a massage so we headed to Kneadz Work this week. He has been before and had nothing but great things to say so I was looking forward to our visit. His massage therapist was Rick and mine was Kia. He mentioned Rick did a great job and it was just what he needed to alleviate some tension and pain, especially in his back. Kia was very friendly, knowledgeable, and provided a great massage. I hold a lot of tension in my neck and shoulders so she focused on getting out my knots, and boy did she do a great job! Kia made my session very enjoyable as she is easygoing and comfortable to talk to, especially as I had questions during my massage. The pressure was just right and the knots and tension in my neck/shoulders definitely subsided a lot after the massage. Both my hubby and I slept so well after we got home... I definitely woke up to some soreness in the target areas but that's totally normal. I look forward to returning for a longer session and to target other problem areas.
