First, your comment implying that because I fell asleep my recollection is somehow unreliable is both dismissive and contradictory. You state my falling asleep makes it "difficult to determine how much you actually remember," then say you "won't argue that point" after doing just that. It was a nap, Sir, not a coma. Falling asleep during portions of a two-hour massage does not somehow prevent me from accurately assessing the overall pressure, how little time was spent on the areas I specifically requested, or how my body felt when I left. Those are the central issues I raised. Second, you acknowledged that Chris "had been struggling" with pressure calibration during training. That directly validates the primary criticism in my review rather than undermines it. Third, your repeated emphasis that I answered "yes" when asked if things were okay ignores the context I already explained. Yes, I acknowledged I could have been more explicit when Chris asked whether things felt "ok." I took accountability for that. But "ok" is an inherently vague check-in. So given how vaguely that was phrased, I interpreted it as a comfort check, not a technical question about treatment depth. A therapist working with someone who explicitly disclosed thoracic outlet issues should communicate with much greater specificity if pressure depth is being calibrated. She went last night and had her first appointment with Jeremiah. She has chronic pain due to depression, anxiety, and a variety of other health concerns. NOT HERE. Every time I've book I get my moneys worth without even having to ask. I actually have a monthly membership here, and I don't buy memberships. The staff here are experienced, knowledgeable, and attentive. During different appointments, Miriam and Amanda have worked on different areas of my body depending on my requested needs for that month. They're personable and nonjudgmental. I've came here during an extremely bad eczema flare up; not a problem at all, they allowed me to bring my own facial towel because I felt uncomfortable with my skin touching the sheets. You have song requests , they'll play it. You want to sleep during your session go ahead. You want to talk and chit chat you can do that too. I cannot recommend this place enough! I was dealing with intense sciatic pain & so much pressure in my back. I had been searching everywhere for relief, & as it was getting late & raining, I decided to take a leap of faith & try this place. Let me just say--BEST. DECISION. EVER. I've tried other places in the past, but nothing has come close to this experience. Amanda is incredible! She knew exactly how to move my hips & legs, targeting my psoas & hip area in a way that provided instant relief. I literally felt tingling in my brain from how much tension was released! And the way she maneuvered me--she didn't literally fold me like a pretzel, but I definitely found myself moving in ways I didn't think were physically possible. At one point, I just had to trust the process because I had no idea my body could even bend like that. But wow, it felt amazing. On top of that, she was super nice, & we had a great conversation, which made the experience even better! I know people say that bodywork can make you feel worse before you feel better, & I did experience some soreness the next day. But even with that, I felt so much more mobile & had minimal sciatic pain--just a soreness that actually felt productive, like my body was adjusting. Now, three days post-massage, I'm still a little sore, but wow, I feel amazing. The craziest part? She didn't even focus on my neck or shoulders, & yet I feel so much less tense overall! I can't even imagine how great I'll feel when she works on the areas I didn't even realize needed attention. This experience was truly life-changing. Based on the reviews alone I found this place to be knowledgeable and great place to send my husband for a massage. I bought him a gift certificate last Valentine's Day. Took him forever to book an appointment. He was seen on 01/26/26. That very next day half his face was numb and the other half was swollen and droopy. When the aftermath didn't subside we decided the hospital was the next step. He went to urgent care and was immediately sent to the ER, ruling out a stroke, however was diagnosed with Bells Palsy. As the focus of my husband's treatment was around his neck, we were told excessive pressure and/or misdirected pressure could cause such an episode. I called the office on 02/02/26 to advise them of the event. I was told to email the owner directly and I would get a response. I emailed the owner Larry that same day, and crickets. No email back. I would think being the owner of an establishment that this complaint would have been handled with much more care and concern. I was wrong. We won't be back. 02/16- The Owner Larry contacted me last night and explained that he did not get word of my call and my email was never received. It was found that his staff did not provide accurate information including his email address. Nor supplied his phone number to me as they are instructed to do so with concerns like my own. He seemed genuinely concerned and will be addressing this matter with his staff. We were provided with a full refund, which was greatly appreciated. He also offered a free session to my husband with him directly. I left the ball in my husband's court to decide if he would like to go back. read more
