She went last night and had her first appointment with Jeremiah. She has chronic pain due to depression, anxiety, and a variety of other health concerns. Jeremiah set the tone by asking what her goals were for her massage, and allowing her to completely feel whatever she needed to feel while he worked on her pain through out her body. She spoke highly of the facility, the staff, and the care that was taken on her visit. I want to thank the staff and Jeremiah for having my daughter in such good hands and care. The trust this establishment cultivated with her was enough for me to know they care. Truly care. First, your comment implying that because I fell asleep my recollection is somehow unreliable is both dismissive and contradictory. You state my falling asleep makes it "difficult to determine how much you actually remember," then say you "won't argue that point" after doing just that. It was a nap, Sir, not a coma. Falling asleep during portions of a two-hour massage does not somehow prevent me from accurately assessing the overall pressure, how little time was spent on the areas I specifically requested, or how my body felt when I left. Those are the central issues I raised. Second, you acknowledged that Chris "had been struggling" with pressure calibration during training. That directly validates the primary criticism in my review rather than undermines it. Third, your repeated emphasis that I answered "yes" when asked if things were okay ignores the context I already explained. Yes, I acknowledged I could have been more explicit when Chris asked whether things felt "ok." I took accountability for that. But "ok" is an inherently vague check-in. So given how vaguely that was phrased, I interpreted it as a comfort check, not a technical question about treatment depth. A therapist working with someone who explicitly disclosed thoracic outlet issues should communicate with much greater specificity if pressure depth is being calibrated. You and your past therapists were quite capable of understanding this, Sir. Fourth, I did not indict your entire business. I explicitly referenced positive past experiences and explained that those experiences are exactly why this visit was disappointing. That's honest context, not an attack. Fifth, my pricing criticism was never about transparency. I knew the listed cost. As advice, it's actually you that could've reached out (you have my entire contact information) or left a message saying you'd like to rectify this matter and get better understanding of the experience after my review. I never cared for a free massage. Instead, I was more than willing to change my review after you demonstrated any good faith attempt in rectifying this matter. I went in for my first therapy massage, and it was the best experience I've ever had in my life. Lily was the one who assisted with my massage and focused on the areas that needed to be worked out, since I work at a recreation center where I deal with kids. She has magic hands and made those knots disappear . When I first walked in, I also noticed that the staff was very welcoming and the prices were very reasonable, which works for me. My overall experience was really great. I sit a lot at work so I was in desperate need of a massage. I did the aromatherapy massage for 60 minutes and got to keep the bottle of lotion. Other massage places that I've been to seem like they genuinely wanted to get me out as quickly as possible by starting 10 minutes past the appointment time and ending anywhere between 5 to 10 minutes earlier. NOT HERE. Every time I've book I get my moneys worth without even having to ask. I actually have a monthly membership here, and I don't buy memberships. The staff here are experienced, knowledgeable, and attentive. During different appointments, Miriam and Amanda have worked on different areas of my body depending on my requested needs for that month. They're personable and nonjudgmental. I've came here during an extremely bad eczema flare up; not a problem at all, they allowed me to bring my own facial towel because I felt uncomfortable with my skin touching the sheets. You have song requests , they'll play it. You want to sleep during your session go ahead. You want to talk and chit chat you can do that too. Based on the reviews alone I found this place to be knowledgeable and great place to send my husband for a massage. I bought him a gift certificate last Valentine's Day. Took him forever to book an appointment. He was seen on 01/26/26. That very next day half his face was numb and the other half was swollen and droopy. When the aftermath didn't subside we decided the hospital was the next step. He went to urgent care and was immediately sent to the ER, ruling out a stroke, however was diagnosed with Bells Palsy. As the focus of my husband's treatment was around his neck, we were told excessive pressure and/or misdirected pressure could cause such an episode. I called the office on 02/02/26 to advise them of the event. I was told to email the owner directly and I would get a response. I emailed the owner Larry that same day, and crickets. No email back. I would think being the owner of an establishment that this complaint would have been handled with much more care and concern. I was wrong. We won't be back. 02/16- The Owner Larry contacted me last night and explained that he did not get word of my call and my email was never received. It was found that his staff did not provide accurate information including his email address. Nor supplied his phone number to me as they are instructed to do so with concerns like my own. He seemed genuinely concerned and will be addressing this matter with his staff. We were provided with a full refund, which was greatly appreciated. I cannot recommend this place enough! I was dealing with intense sciatic pain & so much pressure in my back. I had been searching everywhere for relief, & as it was getting late & raining, I decided to take a leap of faith & try this place. Let me just say--BEST. DECISION. EVER. I've tried other places in the past, but nothing has come close to this experience. Amanda is incredible! She knew exactly how to move my hips & legs, targeting my psoas & hip area in a way that provided instant relief. I literally felt tingling in my brain from how much tension was released! And the way she maneuvered me--she didn't literally fold me like a pretzel, but I definitely found myself moving in ways I didn't think were physically possible. At one point, I just had to trust the process because I had no idea my body could even bend like that. But wow, it felt amazing. On top of that, she was super nice, & we had a great conversation, which made the experience even better! I know people say that bodywork can make you feel worse before you feel better, & I did experience some soreness the next day. But even with that, I felt so much more mobile & had minimal sciatic pain--just a soreness that actually felt productive, like my body was adjusting. Now, three days post-massage, I'm still a little sore, but wow, I feel amazing. The craziest part? She didn't even focus on my neck or shoulders, & yet I feel so much less tense overall! I have come in to see Lily about 4x now. After every visit with her I notice more positive changes in my cervical muscles. I have a preliminary diagnosis of occipital neuralgia and in working with Lily I have noticed improvements in range of motion, less brain fog, and headaches. I really want to avoid injections so coming for a massage was a more holistic approach. Lily knows the body well and my body thanks her for it. I pinched a muscle in my shoulder blade last October doing something pretty basic. I thought it would subside in a couple of days like it's done in the past. But it didn't. In fact it got worse. Between my working on my laptop, poor posture, and other repetitive motions, it got to the point where I was in pain to sit at a table. I went to my chiropractor 2-3 times a week for 6 weeks, getting relief that lasted for a day or so. It was the last week of March when I went to my primary care physician and was diagnosed with myofascial pain syndrome and her recommendation was deep tissue massages and highly recommended Kneadz Work, as she is a client there. I was able to secure an appointment that evening with Monakia and had some relief after just one visit. Since then I've been going every 2-3 weeks for deep tissue massages with Monakia and it's been in the last 3 weeks that I have seen the most improvement and almost feel back to 100% normal!! Just before I found out I was pregnant, I had booked a massage online based on the 5 star reviews. The day I found out happened to be the day of my appointment, so I was bummed I couldn't get my much needed massage! The main appeal for me was that they offered deep tissue and cupping services. Luckily, the staff here is accommodating and friendly, so they canceled my appointment without issue. Fast forward to my 2nd trimester and I booked my first prenatal massage with Rik, which was recommended by both the staff and my doctor as the 1st trimester is considered high risk. I have gotten a prenatal massage before and my experience here exceeded my high expectations. The staff is warm and welcoming from beginning to end. I arrived 15 minutes to my first appointment to fill out the necessary paperwork. While doing so, I was offered water and made to feel comfortable. Within a few moments, I was introduced to Rik and walked over to the spaceous massage room. I must say the space is so clean - and that alone was relaxing for me, especially nowadays. Rik consulted with me regarding any pain and my target areas, acknowledging my pregnancy as well as the amount of pressure that can be safely used. I felt safe and comfortable knowing I was in good care. That first massage was so awesome, I booked another right there and then...which led to this review following my second visit! I've already made another appointment for next month and look forward to it very much. The professionalism and quality of care provided by the staff, as well as the space and services offered makes this place 5 stars in my book. For me, the price is well worth the experience. Jessica Cervantes is my therapist and she is absolutely amazing! She has an amazing depth to her knowledge on how to treat muscle soreness, injuries, tightness and even just discomfort. She's helped me prep for my spartan races and recover from my over training injuries! Her work with tools is as exceptional as her work with her hands!
