For the facial, I had on a bit of mascara (not waterproof) and it survived the apocalypse! Just kept getting rubbed around my face. Now the hair: I'm Black, I have curly hair, and I was not prepared for the tugging and pulling during the detangling. At one point a loose hair just stuck to my face and stayed there. We bonded. Then the nail scratching started. As a healthcare worker, I was internally screaming. But I stayed strong. They asked my partner (straight hair) if he wanted styling. Me? They just grabbed the blow dryer and went to town. I don't use heat! Walked in with lucious curls, walked out with a puff ball. No warning, no discussion, round brush chaos was my fate. Overall? I felt relaxed until that blow dryer came out. Then I was just overwhelmed with a side of big fluff. They were extremely sweet though! Might come back. Might not. 3/5 would recommend if you're brave, have straight hair, maybe some low hair expectations, and don't mind a little curtain peek-a-boo!

My hubby and I waited patiently outside the room for them to bring him a chair while everyone else went in. By the time they set up his chair, everyone was already lying down in their chairs with their blankets and eyes closed. My husband's chair was placed in the back of the room right under the fountain light. Before I had a chance to say something, they announced, we will be closing the door and shutting off the lights. Therefore, I didn't say anything, assuming this would include the fountain light my hubby was under. It wasn't. His light remained on. He tried his best to use the blanket he grabbed to cover his eyes from the brightness. I couldn't enjoy my own experience knowing he was placed in such an awkward position in the room. Once the session was over, I kindly asked the staff member to stay back so I can show her that his chair was placed right under the light in an awkward corner of the room. She immediately said, well you could have moved the chair around. We actually couldn't have based on the size of the room and them bringing us in at a later time, when everyone was already laying down in their chairs with their blankets. Overall, I tried to voice our disappointment with the experience in a respectful and discreet way. The employee became defensive instead of listening to our concerns. She chose to argue back. The employee finally said sorry once we were at the check out counter in-front of everyone, making it more awkward for me & my husband. We paid everything in advance, and when we were trying to leave, she stopped us and said she needed to check we were good to go. Making us stay there longer, just waiting. We don't recommend this place due to the customer service. They only offered a 50 discount for a future experience with an expiration date. We don't plan to come back.

Me and my boyfriend have been here about 5-6 times and every time we have paid an extra tip. We are firm believers in EARNING tip and every time we have been somewhat satisfied to extremely satisfied with the service. We refer friends to go to this spot until today. We went for our typical couples massage and to be honest we were not really feeling our ladies. My boyfriend expressed to her twice to put a medium pressure for the massage but she continued extremely rough on him through the entire hour. The lady who worked on me left for about a good five-seven minutes. That's a long time when paying for a service and when it's supposed to be relaxing. It caught me obviously off guard to the point where I even picked my head up and checked the room in search for her. Both women left and did not return with anything. Once finished we got blocked off from leaving and forced tip. We stayed calm, explained we were just not extra satisfied today but maybe next time. Instead the man who seems as the manager and the two women immediately said no we're paying a tip and that "WE HAVE TO PAY TIP." I explained the laws in California with tipping and kept getting belittled and harassed for about 5 mins. The man shooed his hands at us inferring we leave and the women marched out of the lobby upset. I understand the want for tip, but someone really needs to place up a sign for mandatory tipping (which I even asked to show me where it says on their prices that tipping is mandatory!) We paid for our service, we wait for our experience to tip. Sucks to see people who have treated us so nice completely flip the switch and treat us as they did today. read more

I have had a lot of good massage experience in Asia but this one truly reminded me of some of the best ones I had. I got a great deal for 30 minutes of body massage plus 30 minutes of foot reflexology, and ended up just paying only $30.......some kind of grand opening promotion. Of course, since my therapist was so nice, I paid her a good tip to reward her. The massage started off relaxing but then turned into a deep tissue body massage........it really got my blood circulation going in very short time. After that, I sat down on a very comfortable sofa for a relaxation foot massage.......she put me to sleep! Since I love clean, this place is my kind and it is beautifully decorated too.......almost like a real palace! Oh yeah, this place is called MASSAGE PALACE. I don't usually go on yelp to talk about my experience but this one is an exception. For this kind of price for a good massage in this area, I highly recommended it. I will probably try a full hour of body massage next time with a little bit of back walking. I think the price is like $40 or $45 for a full hour. The only small complaint I had was that I wish my therapist can speak better English......but it's OK because she is very professional and friendly. read more

Okay, so I haven't been there in a couple of years. I decided to make a yelp acc just to post a review because wow! I just had my 45 mins done a little while ago. I was greeted by the male receptionist/therapist they have there. It was sooooo good. I was really out of it, I forgot to ask the massage therapist's name so I can request for her next time. :'-(... I heard there's a new owner or something. For me, that was a good thing as good talent works there. The only downside was that it was kinda noisy, I can hear 1 older lady conversing with a younger lady near by. And I think someone was studying English because sentences were being looped on a device. BUT! Between the two of us, we've had massages in Corona, Palm Desert, Cancun, and several higher-end spas. Surprisingly, none of those experiences ever inspired me to write a review. My massage therapist, Coco, was wonderful. She adjusted her pressure throughout the session, checked in frequently, and knew exactly when to be gentle and when to apply deeper pressure. My husband had an equally positive experience and felt comfortable enough with the staff to try cupping for the first time. When the session was over, I genuinely felt lighter, more relaxed, and refreshed. I could even see a noticeable difference in how my face and body looked afterward. It wasn't just relaxing--it felt restorative. Another thing I appreciated was their availability. I got a 30 minute full body Thai/Swedish Combo massage that made me want to book another immediately after. I think my masseuse name was Sara. She as very nice and constantly checked if the amount of pressure she was apply was OK (she didn't want to hurt me she said). The massage oil/lotion didn't smell too strong (in my opinion). I've been coming here for almost 2 decades, which is why this is really disappointing to write…read more This place used to be something special I recommended it to everyone I knew, even family & friends visiting from out of the country It was always a go-to But lately, it honestly feels like the end of an era The atmosphere now feels unwelcoming, and the quality of the massages has noticeably gone downhill Most of the original masseuses who helped build this place are no longer here, and it shows you're not paying your masseuse enough so they depend on tips...which brings me to my next point What really stood out to me this last visit is the tipping pressure Its getting out of hand There's a sign rating tips with faces: $10 $15 $20 and it creates an uncomfortable experience that takes away from what should be relaxing After my Half-assed massage I handed over my $20 tip and i politely asked for her name so I could thank her properly she ignored me, put on the fakest grin I've ever seen and walked away It's frustrating to see a place I supported for so long fall off like this.. the prices continue to go up quarterly but the massage quality goes down..make it make sense I truly hope management and the employees take a look at what's changed, because right now, I can't confidently recommend this place anymore I walked of there with even more stressed than when I walked in. I brought a guest for their first massage, and while they still enjoyed it, it made me realize how much the atmosphere can impact the overall experience. However, I recently decided to stop going because of a few bad experiences. One massage I had was extremely poor quality. I've never received a massage that bad before. Another massage I had was with an unprofessional masseuse. The quality of the massages are inconsistent; some are great, while others are not, depending on who you get.
