He clearly understands muscles and joints, trigger points/acupressure, and stretching--everything was done with great technique and care. Exceptional Overall: I was in extreme pain, and I found YOLO Massage on yelp as my last option before scheduling an appointment with a pain management doctor. I have had back surgery in the past, and I know cupping and acupressure help me manage my pain and avoid medications. YOLO Massage came thru for me!! Ya'll some of these one star reviews are just unwarranted. The receptionist, Michelle, was so kind and gentle in giving directions. It was my first visit and i booked online, unaware I chose Michelle as my therapist, but she was quick to set me up with Tina instead which was not a problem because Tina was amazing. I prefer not to speak during massages unless necessary and Tina completely understood, she asked if the pressure was okay, it was, and then she did her thing. 10/10 i recommend read more

Did a 30 minute acupressure message let me tell you I was put in so many different position with my shoulder I didn't know I could. This place is absolutely terrible! If i could, I would rate it 0 stars. It started with walking into the place and there was no receptionist to be found. After 5 minutes of just waiting there without being helped, a lady walked in (guessing it was the owner) and she asked if I had an appointment. I told her yes, but she repeated told me that there was no appointment to be found and proceeded to gaslight me into thinking i made an appointment at their other location until she realized she had made a mistake and i had an appointment all along. I decided to look past this & still proceed with my massage. When booking the appointment, i requested a male but when the massage started the masseuse was a female and she never properly introduced herself. I thought she was just going to be helping the male masseuse out, but eventually realized that she was the one going to be doing my massage. It was very unprofessional! Also i would like to note that each massage room is not a "room", its more of a dressing room where you can constantly hear other peoples conversations and people walking in through the front. It did not make for a peaceful and relaxing experience. As the massage continued, I was thrown into very uncomfortable positions and at some points very inappropriate positions. When i spoke up to let the masseuse know i did not like that or please don't do that again, she did not listen and continued to massage areas i was not comfortable with. It got to a point I literally had to stop the massage half way through and told her i was leaving because i was feeling taken advantage of and very uncomfortable. That is when the owner came in and apologized and said that that particular masseuse does not listen to the clients and has gotten poor reviews before & she would get me a better masseuse. If you know this as an owner that clients have complained about this masseuse before, why the hell would you still have her work for you! Like i said before very unprofessional and very poor business mindset. Leaving this appointment i felt even more stressed and tense. I'm upset i gave a business like this my money and I would not recommend this place to anyone!! I honestly wish i saw a review like this before i went and experienced a pretty traumatizing event, so I'm here to say do not go here! It is not worth it! read more

Came here a few months back... called in to make an appointment for couples massage. "Sure no problem" well, we get there and only therapist came in and 1 hr passed and nobody at this point was working on my partner. I was fumed!!! They told us "it's okay we will get someone right now" no, I'm sorry we planned for 1 hour. Not 2! I was given a 70$ gift certificate to return... Went in today with full intention to be open to a better experience. Decided to go for their 90 min + "free cupping". Got into my room at 8pm..... looked at the clocked at 820p... ok no problem. Looked at the clock at 840p. Still nobody has come into my room. RIDICULOUS! I walk up to front to just see them sitting there. She FORGOT I was in the room. I got my money back for my certificate and will not be coming back. Sure it's nice and clean but only come if you hours to spare and patience. I'm all for coming in to relax but not for a whole dam hour before someone comes to give you the service you're paying for. Do better!!! read more
