I went for the first time on Saturday and got a foot massage from Jason, which was great. I completely recommend him and the foot massage. As soon as you walk in you notice the relaxing and quiet atmosphere. My only concern is that after I got home later, I started to question the $50 I was charged and remembered that the foot massage was advertised as $45 for a 30 minute session, but when I looked at my receipt, I saw that the woman at the check-in desk overcharged me $5. When I booked my appointment online, it showed that a foot massage was $45 for 30 minutes, if I paid with a credit card. The website also has small print that states the prices shown is if paid with a credit card and that they will give a $5 discount if paid with cash. I have arthritis in both of my feet and the massage really helped with my daily foot pain, so I'm hoping this was a mistake so I can return again. But, I'm not comfortable returning if I'm going to be charged more than the prices they have on the website and on the wall next to the check-in desk at the Upland location. It would also be nice if I could get my $5 back or a credit, to show good faith from the business owner. Update: the owners responded very quickly to my review, apologized, and resolved the overcharge. I appreciate this very much and will definitely return and recommend YOLO Massage #1 to all my friends and family. Thank you so much Michelle. read more

This was my first time coming to this massage place because the place I normally go to is currently closed. I called beforehand and was told that their Rancho location was closed, but that their upland location was open, and they gave me the address. They never asked if I was coming in right away, and I never said I was, so I completely understood when we arrived around 6:45 PM and were told they didn't have anyone available at that moment. The lack of availability was not the issue. The way TJ, the owner, handled the situation was. His wife, Michelle, was extremely sweet and genuinely tried her best to help us. We were two clients hoping to get massages, and she was making calls and trying to see if she could get someone to come in. We never expected or demanded that she do that, but the fact that she was willing to try really showed how much she cares about her customers. TJ, on the other hand, came across as irritated that we had even shown up and seemed bothered that Michelle was trying to help us. He repeatedly kept saying, "There's nobody here, there's nobody to take them," and seemed annoyed that she was even making an effort to find someone for us. I also think it's extremely rude and unprofessional to speak that way in front of your customers, especially when your wife is actively trying to provide good customer service. You could clearly feel the negative attitude, and it made the whole situation uncomfortable. What really bothered me was that while we were standing there waiting to see if Michelle could find someone for us, another customer called. TJ answered the phone and told them there was someone available at 8 PM that same night and booked them, knowing we were standing right there trying to be seen. We had arrived around 6:45 PM, and they close at 9 PM. That made the entire interaction even more confusing and frustrating. Again, I would have had absolutely no problem being told, "Unfortunately, we're fully booked tonight, but we'd love to see you tomorrow." It was the attitude and lack of professionalism that bothered me. Michelle was wonderful, accommodating, and clearly cared about trying to help her customers. Unfortunately, my interaction with TJ completely changed my impression of the business. You can turn customers away when you don't have availability without making them feel like they're a bother for simply walking in and asking. This was my first time here, and unfortunately, it was also my last. read more

I had a knot that had been bothering me for a LONG time and nothing seemed to really help. I came here and they did a combination of deep tissue massage and cupping, and I honestly couldn't believe the difference afterward. They really took their time working on the problem area instead of just doing a generic massage, and I finally felt some real relief. What I also really appreciated was how personable and empathetic they were. They genuinely listened to what was bothering me, made sure I was comfortable, and seemed to actually care about helping me feel better. You don't always get that kind of attention at massage places. The pressure was great, the cupping helped a lot, and I left feeling so much looser than when I came in. If you have stubborn knots or tight muscles that just won't go away, I definitely recommend this place. I'll absolutely be coming back! read more

YOLO Massage #1 - Waiting room. - Massage Near Me - Upland, California

This is the main branch massage of Yolo. I usually go to Rancho branch. I am satisfied with the cleanliness, friendliness and quality of service rendered. I chose the deep tissue massage which was about $110 for 90 mins that includes full body massage, scalp massage , eye care steam , and cupping. The deal for me was worthy. Jenny the masseuse did an excellent job. The owners were very courteous. I hope Rancho will open again soon much closer to home . Less driving. Thank you Yolo read more

Great massage ruined by insulting customer service and a public false accusation I'm really torn leaving this review, because the actual service was wonderful the masseuse did a fantastic job. Unfortunately, the way management handled the payment process ruined what should have been a relaxing experience. When I arrived, I was asked to pay upfront before my treatment, which I did without any issue. After a great massage, I tipped my therapist on the way out and began to leave. That's when things went downhill fast. Despite having prepaid, I was stopped and publicly accused of trying to leave without paying right in front of other clients in the lobby. To make matters worse, as I walked out to my car, the woman who appeared to be the manager actually followed me outside to confront me again and demand to know if I had paid. She eventually went back inside to check her records, realized her mistake, and offered an apology. However, the damage was already done. Being treated like a thief and humiliated in front of both staff and other patrons especially when I noticed other customers were allowed to pay after their services was completely unprofessional and off-putting. A great massage doesn't mean much if you leave feeling embarrassed and stressed out. I truly hope management rectifies how they handle payment verifications and staff communication so no one else has to experience this. This same woman treated me so well when I entered the location being it was my first time there it was weird to get this treatment upon exiting. I think the issue was with the prepayment ask but who knows. read more

Five stars... though I'm almost hesitant to leave this review because selfishly, I want to keep this place a secret. Every time I'm in so much pain that I'm debating between coming here or going to urgent care and I choose this place; I've never regretted it. They always manage to get me in the same day, and I leave feeling so much better than when I walked in. The staff is amazing, the massages are incredible, and they've earned a customer for life! So yes, I highly recommend them... here's to hoping they'll still have room for me when I inevitably need a last-minute appointment. read more

This is the first time that Yelp has let me down with multiple star reviews and hundreds of positive reviews. Place is overpriced will definitely look for somewhere else to go, masseuse did not attend to problem areas that I specifically ask for. 1 out of 10 I don't wanna give it a 0, but it was an enjoyable experience. It wasn't relaxing, the light was bright. The masseuse kept going it now in and out of the room, worst experience. read more

I had an amazing massage and left feeling completely relaxed and refreshed. The therapist was professional, attentive, and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire session. They did an excellent job working on the areas where I had the most tension, and I could immediately feel the difference. The atmosphere was clean, peaceful, and welcoming. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quality massage. I'll definitely be coming back! read more

Exceptional Overall: I was in extreme pain, and I found YOLO Massage on yelp as my last option before scheduling an appointment with a pain management doctor. I have had back surgery in the past, and I know cupping and acupressure help me manage my pain and avoid medications. YOLO Massage came thru for me!! I can't believe the difference I felt after my first visit! The masseuse was very knowledgeable and paid great attention to my body. I immediately felt better when I left, and, a day later, I continue to feel more mobility! The masseuse was professional, the owner was very sensitive and accommodating, and the rooms were very clean and private. Thank you YOLO! I look forward to my next visit! read more

Ya'll some of these one star reviews are just unwarranted. The receptionist, Michelle, was so kind and gentle in giving directions. It was my first visit and i booked online, unaware I chose Michelle as my therapist, but she was quick to set me up with Tina instead which was not a problem because Tina was amazing. I prefer not to speak during massages unless necessary and Tina completely understood, she asked if the pressure was okay, it was, and then she did her thing. 10/10 i recommend read more

This place absolutely deserves five stars. The therapist was highly skilled, respectful, and genuinely focused on addressing my pain points. He clearly understands muscles and joints, trigger points/acupressure, and stretching--everything was done with great technique and care. The pressure was well controlled, communication was clear, and I felt noticeably better and more relaxed afterward. Just to clarify: there are two therapists here named Jason. This review is for Jason #2 (the second Jason). Highly recommended! read more

Excellent and friendly staff. Coco is a great masseuse. I came in with a bad pain in my neck and she was able to massage it out and completely make my neck feel so much better. Excellent massage !! I will definitely be back!! read more

I had the most amazing experience here! Coco is absolutely incredible -- she's strong, knowledgeable, and clearly an expert in her craft. She worked out every knot and left me feeling completely restored and renewed. One of the best massages I've ever had! The entire space was spotless and very professional. Everything felt clean, calm, and relaxing from start to finish -- which really put me at ease. I also want to give a special shout-out to Apple at the front desk -- she was so kind, welcoming, and made check-in and check-out a breeze. If you're looking for a truly therapeutic massage in a clean, professional, and friendly environment, this is the place. I'll definitely be coming back to see Coco again! read more

Tina and Jason were absolutely amazing! They helped relieve the back pain that both my wife and I had been dealing with. Best massage I've ever had. Angel, Mina and Tina are AMAZING they are the absolute best

Over all great massage, left feeling a lot more relaxed and less tense. Definitely booking at least once a month . Highly recommend

I have been coming here for approximately four years. During the first couple of years, my experience was consistently excellent, and Tina has always been an outstanding massage therapist. She is the primary reason I have continued to return. Unfortunately, over the past two years, the scheduling and appointment process has become increasingly frustrating. On multiple occasions, I have specifically scheduled and confirmed appointments with Tina through Michelle, only to arrive and be told that Tina was unavailable, had been reassigned, or was doing something else. I was then offered another massage therapist, despite clearly stating when booking that I only wanted to see Tina. There have also been several instances where appointments were confirmed, but when I arrived, the appointment could not be honored as scheduled. This has resulted in wasted time, inconvenience, and the need to repeatedly reschedule. My concern is not with Tina, whose service has always been exceptional. Rather, it is with the reliability of the scheduling and communication process. As a loyal customer of four years, I am disappointed by the decline in consistency and customer service. I hope management will address these issues so that appointments are honored as booked and customers can feel confident that the therapist they specifically request will be available when their appointment is confirmed. read more

With just a name change, YOLO MASSAGE formerly Foot and Body Massage is still in business. You can still enjoy Tina, Jason and Michelle at the #1 massage spa in Upland. We have been going to this spa for the last 2 1/2 years in that time Tina has worked on my Slap Tear in my shoulder. She has helped me regain my range of motion in my arm. In addition Tina and all the masseuse have provided us with the utmost care and professionalism. You won't regret visiting their salon. It's remodeled so enjoy their new look. read more

I've had the pleasure of receiving massages from Jason about eight years ago when we worked together, and I always knew he was exceptionally talented. After moving away, I found it hard to find someone I trusted as much as him, so I hadn't had a massage in years. When I stumbled upon a local salon in my new city and saw Jason's photo, I instantly rebooked. I was in awe that not only was he just as great as before, but he's even better now! I just had another massage with him today, and I can confidently say I'll never go anywhere else as long as he's here. Highly recommend! read more
