I will never go back here again. When I got there, I paid upfront $60 for a 60 min message, then the lady asked me if I want to pay the tip now or later and I said later. She started at 12:40 and ended at 1:30 = 50 min, in that 50 min, she left the room twice and came to proceed which is so unsanitary. While giving me a message she kept trying to have small talk and told me I'm so pretty and beautiful like 10 times, which made me feel very uncomfortable. THE WORST PART: After I was all done getting dressed, I'm walking out I hand her $5 tip and she looks at it and says, "that's it? Only $5" I was shocked! Like what theeeee, be appreciative I'm giving you anything. I explained that she shorted me time and that's all I had and she literally gave me an attitude and walked away. Tried this spot for the first time. Inside, the ambiance was nice and quiet. They provide you with a stamp card to work towards a free massage. PROS: The massage itself was a 7/10. My masseuse was good. She asked me several times if the pressure she used was ok or if I wanted it softer or harder. She encouraged open communication to ensure I enjoyed my massage. CONS: We got the combo massage. I have gone to several massage places over the last few years and I love starting the massage with soaking your feet in warm water as they start with a facial massage. Unfortunately this place does not do that. At the end of the back massage, she wraps your feet with a hot towel and starts the foot massage that way. I tried this place within the first couple weeks of opening and it was pretty good. It felt like they were still working the kinks out (not out of me but the business) but it was still a pretty decent massage. I got an hour long foot massage (which was $20 but now i think they've gone up to $25) but it was definitely more of a mixture of foot and back. They spent about 30-35 minutes on my feet in the open foot massage area, then they moved me to a private room and spent about 20 minutes on my back. The moving to a table was different; usually foot massages are a mixture of feet and body but it's always done in the chair. Overall, it was o.k. It hurts my heart that the Original owner had to sell. She was literally amazing in all areas. I was desperate for a message so I figured I'd try it with the new owner. From the start I should have never gone there, when I called to find out if they had an appointment, there was a huge language barrier, she was rude and gave me the wrong price so I found out once I arrived. As I said, I was desperate so I go on over. I walk in and this lady tells me a different price than she told me over the phone, of course at this point it was 10 bucks more. I didn't know if maybe I just didn't hear her correctly over the phone, but I'm also having difficulty understanding her in person, she was impatient because I couldn't understand her. Mostly she kept barking at me, "you pay first, you pay first!" As if I wouldn't expect that I had to pay "her" first! Smh I give her my credit card, she does the transaction, gives it to me so i can authorize sign it, once i give it back, she looks at it and gets all erratic accusing me of pressing cancel, maybe because I'm black she thought I was trying to scam her out of a 60 dollar massage? Idk... So at this point I'm getting frustrated because I saw it confirm the payment. I preceded to tell her that, but she kept saying to me, No no.. you cancel, you cancel. She thought that instead of me signing, that i had canceled the transaction trying to not pay her I guess. I literally had to pull out my phone go into my card app and show her the PENDING payment. At this point i should've left, But now I'm practicing deep breathing, thinking it would be worse to try and cancel at this point and have her reverse the transaction. I just proceeded forward. She didn't even apologize, once i showed her, she paused and said oh... ok. Turns and leads me to the massage area, gives me time to prepare and once she comes back she was a little more pleasant. She gives a sub par massage and now she's closer to being friendly. Asking questions and even a small smile. She leaves I get dressed and head out of the room. As soon as I turn the corner, she's standing there smiling, I say thank you and walk towards the front door, now she's following me saying "NO TIP...? No tip???" I just walked out. If you check my profile you'll see that I gone to many places before so here we go! My first massage was done by eva. I came late (like 40 minutes before closing) so I got only a 30 minute massage but she said it will be ok to go longer (which is outstanding customer service if you ask me) I said no thanks (in respect) and this lady is a master when it comes to massage her expertise is unparalleled she's able to do things so strong yet smooth at the same time. I felt my body melt back into a new person. So I kneeded to come back haha. Next I had Jessica with an hour massage. Shes younger so I expected less professionalism. But the massage was expertly done. She asked if I wanted to do a back walk and it was better than any other masseuse who ever tried. So it was amazing..... till she asked me to turn over. I cant say it's her fault but she made me feel a bit uncomfortable. Her eyes rolled a bit. She looked at the clock a lot and it felt like she hated being there.. i dont think she was doing it on purpose a lot of average places the girls usually do the same.But in more professional places masseuses decide to close their eyes to look concentrated or keep eye contact with smiles for you wont feel like a disgusting human being haha. Yes I am a bit self conscious but so is a lot of people. And I use massage not to only help my body recover but I use it to make me feel comfortable in my own skin. Overall besides feeling awkward I give the experience with jessica an 8 out of 10 and eva a 10 out of 10. I'm willing to try new styles of massage with either of them (as I said with jessica it might be her lack of experience that made her feel odd but it was more than enjoyable). The prices are phenomenal for the quality of massage they provide. Just like other massage places I will review it again. I know this review had odd criticism. But part of a massage therapist professionalism has to do with how comfortable they make you feel in your skin as well and not a lot of people add that into their review but for those body conscious types I did this for you! read more

I've been coming here for about 5-6 years on and off. And have requested Eva every time. She is literally magic when it comes to relieving my back pain and sciatica issues. I'm not sure exactly how she does it but she keeps strong & consistent pressure (because I request that) throughout the entire massage. I've gone to her when my neck was tweaked; she fixed it and gave me range of motion again. When my back has given out from muscle spasms, she has helped me stretch it out and used acupressure to alleviate pinched nerves. I'm grateful I found this place and will definitely continue to come back as long as she is here. read more

This was my boyfriend and I's first massage and we decided to go together and it was interesting since we didn't know what to expect. I think for us we both needed more communication and less pain. A tip is gratuity for satisfied customers, why is this required upfront when the service has not been rendered? Massage was not something I'd come back for. Far better massages elsewhere. The massage was okay...but, I was a bit turned off when I was not only asked to leave a tip immediately after the provided services (mind you, I paid prior to receiving services), but to INCREASE my tip (she said with a smile)!!! I paid up front $60 for an hour and a half massage, I told them my neck was really hurting and that I had a lump in it if they could please focus on that and they did everything but my neck. When the lady was done I tipped her $10 and the women at the front desk told me "she really good you tip more" as she was rubbing her fingers together in a gesture for money. The lady that I tipped then handed the money back to me and put her hand out. Now, I tried to use my 10 times, one free card and since Jessica wasn't there, the workers there would not honor it. That isn't right. I've been to at least half of the foot massage places in the Upland, Rancho Cucamonga, and Claremont area that are in the $20-25/hour range and a handful of places in the San Gabriel/Monterey Park area. For my first massage at U-Spa (when they first opened), the foot portion was done in one room, and I moved to another room for the table part of the massage. I've been there at least half a dozen times since then and both parts of the massage have been done in the same room. You do move from the chair to the table, but it is the same room now (at least it has been for me). I like U-Spa because my massages have always been in a private room (unlike many of the other massage places around). Also, because in all of the massages I've received, U-Spa has the best masseuse that I've encountered. I get regular foot massages because I believe in the health benefits. With this masseuse, I really feel my blood flowing and a health benefit. I'm not going to name her, because I don't want her all booked up... But if you get her, you'll know you've received a massage from likely the best masseuse in the area. I've had massages from a couple other masseuses at U-Spa and they were good, but the one I'm talking about is great. The massages are now $25/hr. I recently bought their deal. If you buy 10 massages, you get 2 free. It brings the price down to a little over $20/hr for each massage. read more
