My only concern is that after I got home later, I started to question the $50 I was charged and remembered that the foot massage was advertised as $45 for a 30 minute session, but when I looked at my receipt, I saw that the woman at the check-in desk overcharged me $5. When I booked my appointment online, it showed that a foot massage was $45 for 30 minutes, if I paid with a credit card. The website also has small print that states the prices shown is if paid with a credit card and that they will give a $5 discount if paid with cash. I have arthritis in both of my feet and the massage really helped with my daily foot pain, so I'm hoping this was a mistake so I can return again. But, I'm not comfortable returning if I'm going to be charged more than the prices they have on the website and on the wall next to the check-in desk at the Upland location. It would also be nice if I could get my $5 back or a credit, to show good faith from the business owner. Update: the owners responded very quickly to my review, apologized, and resolved the overcharge. I appreciate this very much and will definitely return and recommend YOLO Massage #1 to all my friends and family. Thank you so much Michelle.

I called beforehand and was told that their Rancho location was closed, but that their upland location was open, and they gave me the address. They never asked if I was coming in right away, and I never said I was, so I completely understood when we arrived around 6:45 PM and were told they didn't have anyone available at that moment. The lack of availability was not the issue. The way TJ, the owner, handled the situation was. His wife, Michelle, was extremely sweet and genuinely tried her best to help us. We were two clients hoping to get massages, and she was making calls and trying to see if she could get someone to come in. We never expected or demanded that she do that, but the fact that she was willing to try really showed how much she cares about her customers. TJ, on the other hand, came across as irritated that we had even shown up and seemed bothered that Michelle was trying to help us. He repeatedly kept saying, "There's nobody here, there's nobody to take them," and seemed annoyed that she was even making an effort to find someone for us. I also think it's extremely rude and unprofessional to speak that way in front of your customers, especially when your wife is actively trying to provide good customer service. You could clearly feel the negative attitude, and it made the whole situation uncomfortable. What really bothered me was that while we were standing there waiting to see if Michelle could find someone for us, another customer called. TJ answered the phone and told them there was someone available at 8 PM that same night and booked them, knowing we were standing right there trying to be seen. We had arrived around 6:45 PM, and they close at 9 PM. That made the entire interaction even more confusing and frustrating. Again, I would have had absolutely no problem being told, "Unfortunately, we're fully booked tonight, but we'd love to see you tomorrow." It was the attitude and lack of professionalism that bothered me. Michelle was wonderful, accommodating, and clearly cared about trying to help her customers. Unfortunately, my interaction with TJ completely changed my impression of the business. You can turn customers away when you don't have availability without making them feel like they're a bother for simply walking in and asking. This was my first time here, and unfortunately, it was also my last.

If I could give this place 10 stars I would! Went in for my first time today and had the most AMAZING massage ever! I'm a massage connoisseur, I get massages everywhere! I really pay attention to technique, pressure points, and details of a massage. Ive been having horrible neck, shoulder, and back pain for about a month now so I tried this place out. I did a 90 minute combo massage for $50!!! I couldn't believe it was cheap! The pressure was EXCELLENT! I love a really good deep tissue massage, the guy kept asking if the pressure was ok and I told him it was perfect! He had excellent technique to remove the lactic acid from my muscles, tension and stress knots from my neck, shoulders, and back, and the foot reflexology was AMAZING!!! He hit every pressure point! I had a hard time sleeping because I ride motorcycle a lot which caused huge pain on my shoulder and neck. I decided to visit this place to get massage on my shoulder and neck. The place is very quite and relaxing. I love the relaxing music. My massage therapist is very professional. I told her that I was suffering the pain on my shoulder and neck. He constantly massaged those two places and asked me if the pressings are powerful enough. After a hour excellent massage, I felt so light on my shoulder. Price is a lot cheaper than other places. I noticed they have many other massages such as foot massage and oil massage. The relax made me skip my dinner and went to bed directly. Of course, I slept like a baby till next day morning. Always a good experience here. The clinic is clean and orderly. We have found 3 therapists who we really like.... they have great pressure and technique. David, Tom, or Johnny. We get the combo massage and it's a long hot foot soak with about 10 full minutes on feet and lower legs followed by compressions/ massage on entire body. I'm not sure if you're suppose to get disrobed in this section but we do and they are very good about keeping the curtains pulled. Note that their draping is not the same like a massage place that uses sheets... here they use towels so it's a little looser but always professional. read more

Even with inflation the pricing is still reasonable and the business has put in place extra cleaning protocols to be hygienic. Reservations highly recommended. On my visits, I can tell all of the staff have regulars who love them. I always call ahead of time to reserve with Lucy, and every time I bring a friend, they have all really liked Heide. We always get the 90 minute combination massage ($55) that splits into a 30 minute foot massage to start and then a 60 minute body massage. This special comes with complimentary foot scrub and hot stones. The pricing here is definitely more competitive than similar business types. The foot massage section of the business has curtains that divide the area up in one or two stations. On my solo visits I get my own section and when I bring a bring we can be in a section together. We really enjoy the privacy. The treatment begins with a warm foot soak. The bucket is lined with disposable plastic so it is sanitary. While your feet are soaking, they massage your face, scalp, neck, shoulders and arms. If there is anything you want them to skip, just let them know ahead of time. Since the pandemic I've been skipping the face portion or if I have plans afterwards I ask them not to touch my hair so I don't look too messed up. Then they move onto the foot portion. Lucy is amazing. She knows all of the pressure points in the feet. I feel like she senses all of the areas of my feet that has tension. The foot portion of the massage is finalized with the sugar scrub and hot towels. Afterwards we transition to the private rooms for the body massage portion of the massage. They have clean blankets on each table and another thin disposable sheet of material for cleanliness. You can undress to the amount you are comfortable with. Spoiler alert, there is an oil massage part so you might want to take off anything you don't want to get massage oil on. Lucy is always super sweet. She always asks if there are areas I would like extra focus on and will check occasionally if the pressure is good. I like a firm pressure and Lucy is perfect. When it is time for the hot stone massage, she always checks that the temperature is okay. The warmth really helps get out any knots. I always feel completely relaxed after her massages. As with all massages, remember to communicate what you prefer to ensure the best experience. I feel like writing this review is like giving up my secret hidden gem, but the business really deserves all of the credit. They work really hard; please tip well!
