I did the 90 minute Reiki massage with Annette and it was so worth it! I went into the session in a very dark place and desperately needed some mental and emotional peace. We did some breathing exercises at the start and discussed what I was seeking out of the session. Annette came from a place of full understanding and empathy. I've been having neck and back pain for weeks now because I got back into lifting weights (way different at age 40 than it was in my 20's). I was referred to Annette and decided to give her a chance for a deep tissue massage to work out the knots. I booked a 90-minute massage and I was extremely happy with the results. She first sat with me to discuss what the problem areas were and took the time to understand my ailments before we got started. The location wasn't the best but the interior was comfortable and calming. I hopped on the table and from the beginning I could tell her attention to detail and professionalism was top notch. She made sure to check with me if the applied pressure was too much or too little. She focused on the problem areas but also made sure not to ignore that the body is all connected and needs maintenance. She even helped me with some breath work to increase the stress-relieving effect of the massage. I had my massage this morning with Annette. Let me start by saying that It had 3 years since my last massage but when I was in high school I used to get them regularly for sports. Best massage I've ever had! Annette is so thorough and determined to get you feeling better by the end of your appointment and she succeeded! She takes her time and finds knots where you don't even realize you have them (She even went overtime!). She is professional, friendly, kind, and has a soothing voice. I scheduled my next appointment before I left. Only downside is you can hear the train off and on during your appointment and some talking from others in the facility. Relaxing music is played louder than usual, I'm assuming, to distract from the train, which is a nice thought although it doesn't allow the massage to be fully and consistently relaxing.
