I SEARCHED...THIS SPOT IS AMAZING. We booked our room early, the management made sure we knew it was coming up. Service---100% the best customer service I have seen at a venue. Oh my, I can't even start. They helped us carry in our party food, set up materials and offered help in the room. The owner gave us a huge LED SIGN COMPLIMENTARY. HE ALSO GAVE US LIGHT STICKS FOR MY PARTY. We had maybe 30 people. He offered the adults tastings for alcohol as well. He adjusted room temperature, offered extra mics, and gave us truly VIP treatment. Thank you. THE ROOM IS JAW DROPPING. PLEASE SEE THE SITE. I DIDN'T GET PICS BECAUSE I WAS BUSY, BUT THERE IS VIDEO. All the rooms are so pretty. It's pretty new and attached to a mall. You enter from the outside or the mall Food- they have a small menu, but Uber eats will do if you want hot food. Also, you can bring food for a 35.00 fee...but he waved the fee for us. We stayed for 4 hours....and loved every second!!! We randomly found this spot on Yelp while calling around and trying to find a kaorake place that had last minute availability and can accommodate our group size. They answered their phone quickly everytime I called and were very helpful. It was hard to find since we didn't know it was attached to the Asian garden mall building but they help us find it over the phone. The staff was very friendly and the room was really clean and nice. This place is underrated for a karaoke lounge, and I hope it gets more traffic. VIP Karaoke Lounge is a fantastic venue for mid to large groups wanting to karaoke or celebrate special group occasions. It's located within the Asian Garden Mall, on the second floor. There isn't much signage from inside to know where it is, so it's definitely recommended to enter on the side entrace with the location spotlight as well as other signage. Something to note is that the mall closes around 7pm, which they also barracade the front and back entrances at that time too. Recommended parking is in a lot right across from the side entrance of the mall where you enter VIP from. The curbs say 1hr parking, but staff and even mall security confirm it is just there and not enforced, it might have been at one point, but why drive foot traffic from the mall away? Making a reservation was easy and Samantha was an absolute gem, answering all my questions and helping me and my group. She provided me all the parking information as well as room rates. Becauase parking could be a little confusing, I decided to go with my boyfriend to check it out so I could relay the info to my guests. She and other staff were so friendly and welcoming letting us see the spaces and excited for us to come. They have their own bar and kitchen, so outside food is allowed at a flat rate of $35 for food and $35/bottle of outside alcohol (anything that looks like it could be shared). So they encourage people to buy food/drink there which is understandable. They do allow cake for special occasions which I appreciate as it did not incur the food fee. The space is lovely, and clean. Definitely club vibes with the blue lights lighting the space. It consists primarily of medium sized rooms with 1 small room and 1 large room for up to 30 people. I originally booked a medium sized room but had to downgrade to a smaller room last minute which was no problem at the time of my visit. Samanth helped explain the karaoke system which was straight forward. They utilize an iPad system where you can choose songs from their karaoke database or from YouTube which I prefer over some of the older karaoke spots utilizing binders. Definitely removes limits as to what songs you can choose as it's open. Queueing up songs was simple too. Sound system was clear and loud, could feel the base from the adjacent room but it was only between songs and not overpowering. Room rates are a little higher, but worth the quality experience and splitting with a group reduced the cost to something more manageable. I will say I think we got charged the medium room rate instead of the small room rate of $55/hour as we spent 3 hours for a base total of $165. But I was on as it was a last minute change and they were so accommodating. I probably should have asked but didn't Check out this space for your next gathering, celebration, or just a karaoke sesh with friend in a modern and updated space. This place has so much more to offer than it appears at first glance -- it's truly a hidden gem. My friends and I originally planned to stay for only about two hours, but that wasn't nearly enough time. We easily could have stayed all night because we were having such a great time. When we went to close out our tab, we had the pleasure of meeting Steven (apologies if I'm not spelling it correctly). He and Tina were incredibly sweet and hospitable, and their kindness really added to the experience. I'll definitely be returning. Booked the room which states it fit 26-30 people despite it being 15 of us and it was more than enough room. I'm so glad we booked that one because it gave us enough room to sit, move and dance around comfortably. We brought outside food for a flat $35 fee and alcohol for a flat fee per bottle as well. Celebrated my bf's birthday here and we all enjoyed our time here. I called to make a reservation a month beforehand and everything went by smoothly. I was able to drop off the birthday cake the same day with no charge. I had to call to move our reservation because we were running a free minutes late and whoever I spoke with was friendly and accommodating. Once we arrived we were welcomed with free shots at the front desk. We brought in 2 bottles for a corkage fee. We were a group of about 18 ppl and the vip room fit us all. The space is super clean, cute, and actually spacious -- not one of those tiny, dingy karaoke spots where you're elbow to elbow. They've got their beer / wine license (sake & soju too) up and running, which makes it even better. Drinks were coming out quick and the service was amazing. Everyone was super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed without hovering. We booked a private room and the system was easy to figure out. I made reservations before their reservation system went live but when we arrived, the staff had no clue what was going on. Luckily it was empty so we got a room anyway. The staff was really nice but just seemed lost and disorganized. We reserved a small room but it had an awkward layout where some people sit next to the screen and can't see. They were nice enough to move us to a bigger room but still charged the rate of the small room. Once settled, the rooms are super clean and the song selection is YouTube so you have plenty to choose from. The parking could be challenging because there was a night market going on and the place is a bit confusing to find. Its upstairs. If you go in the mall, go towards the jewelry stores. I would definitely return though, and hope they are more organized, its a good price, good song selections, and clean. read more

The prospect of a karaoke bar in the corner of a nostalgic mall full of childhood memories was enticing enough for me to try to reserve a small room with some friends. Now, here is where things went wrong (full disclosure - I am a type A- millennial): 1. Despite what the yelp instruction says when reserving, you actually cannot book more than one reservation when I tried Thursday night for a Saturday night slot. I was only able to book one at 7:30pm. 2. My friend called next day Friday to see if we can properly reserve 2 hours of karaoke but then was told they cannot book it because of an event from 7-11pm. My friend even asked if the first hour I had already reserved still valid and she confirmed yes. She further told my friend you only need to make the initial hour reservation on yelp and more hours are done with the host in person which is exactly opposite of the yelp reservation instructions. 3. The same staff then calls me literally seconds after my friend texted me with the above information that our reservation is cancelled due to a collaborative event from 7-11pm. She said they are still trying to figure out the reservation system when I asked why are there slots to book if it's not available. She doesn't offer any alternatives other than to reschedule. I simply declined saying we will not go there anymore then. 4. I had already followed the IG profile when I discovered it existed so I was curious to see what the event taking place was. I find out it's a ticketed event with open mic and small games that open to everyone to buy using their link. They already had 170 attendees and it was posted THREE days ago! 5. I could tell staff was quite inexperienced and clueless just over the phone. She could have easily suggested for us to get tickets to that event - and I would have declined anyways - but it's a good alternative to a full cancellation. Frankly, the manager should have called in this situation and confidently dealt with my scrutiny. I am also not sure why that kind of event would affect the small private karaoke rooms we originally booked. There's supposedly a patio with plenty of space and much larger rooms to accommodate. Even now, yelp still says I have a reservation and asked me to confirm. They haven't figured cancelling on their end either it seems. To conclude, I have decided that I am taking my business elsewhere especially they clearly don't need it. That is at least until the management and staff know what they're doing. There's plenty of other karaoke options in Garden Grove instead. read more

They hosted a popup event today and my wife and I just dropped in to see what was going on. The owner was there and he was super nice. He gave us a tour of the new place and because it was an event today, we even got to try one of the rooms for free! All the rooms were super nice and clean. There's 8 rooms and each room had a different modern design. My favorite room is the biggest room which could probably fit 30+ people! I'm definitely having my next karaoke party here with my friends. The sound system sounds great, the tv screens are big, and the microphones were clear. Everything was controlled by an iPad, like the volume, picking and queuing up the next songs. I thought it was pretty easy to use. Much better than compared to other karaoke places that I've been to with dated equipment. This place is a must check out. It brings a nice new refreshing vibe to the very well known Asian Garden Mall. read more

Perfect! We rented out the 30-person room for a birthday party and it was awesome! The room was nice and clean and the air conditioning kept the room comfortable despite having a lot of people in there. The hosts were very attentive to our party and made everything very easy. They also had all the soju you could want in a variety of flavors and the volume of their sound systems packed some serious power. I went to VIP for my birthday party and had the best experience. This venue is brand new and the rooms are all first class. We had a group of 12 people and all fit in the room comfortably. The owner and staff are very attentive to customers and accommodating. Drinks and food were awesome. Song choice was great and the mic/equipment/sound were fantastic.
