We had come here about 2 years ago…read moreand I believe it was running under another name as I was having a hard time finding it on my Maps app. I asked the main manager, that was the one helping us out for majority of the night, about the name change and he informed me that unfortunately the older woman that used to run the place passed away in recent years and now there are new owners. My husband and I arrived around 7:30 PM on a Saturday night and we were placed in a room immediately. The plaza that this establishment is at is in a busy one with restaurants all around. Parking was not hard to find around that time, but it was very busy and filling up quickly. The two times I've been here, I was able to find parking easily. That same man that helped us out was very pleasant and energetic. He informed us that they were out of the yogurt soju we wanted, so he went out of his way to one of the nearby businesses to find the soju bottle for us and said it was on the house. I asked if they had any snacks for us, and he gave us free snacks that consisted of peanuts, pretzels, and other snacks. Due to his kindness and energy, we ordered another soju bottle. The karaoke rooms itself are really spacious. The equipment is great. They use youtube so you can play almost any song you want. My husband and I found a song that we liked that is not very popular for karaoke as it is by an artist that is not well known and we were able to sing it here! There were no time limits which I really liked. We were there for about 3 hours and the prices were very reasonable. I live about an hour away from OC and there are not many karaoke options where I'm at. The closest karaoke place to me has a strict 2 hour limit and the walls are very thin. I will go out of my way to drive to this place as the parking is easy, the prices are reasonable, the music selection is broad, and the owners/employees are great. You guys have a loyal customer here! Thank you for staying open! My husband and I have definitely found our favorite karaoke spot and we plan to make trips out here more often when we can!

I was here the first time, and the music selection was super glitchy and they couldn't figure out what was wrong with it so we never got to really even sing any songs. Fast forward, a year later, we revisited this place today because it was right next to Taira sushi. My friends and I got a small room. Selecting songs require you to pick one song at a time so there's no "queue." You sing one song then you have to pick the next one before you sing again. We weren't very happy about this flow. So after maybe 3 songs, we decided to leave. The host said "oh, I'll try to charge you for half an hour only." The total came out to $55.... Mind you we sang less than 3 songs. I was super disappointed at that service. PS A side note my other friend told me afterwards was that he was charged $59.99 for 3 bottles of CASS beer. That's insane. We'll NEVER be back!

HAPPY HOUR PRICES: I unintentionally stopped by during their Happy Hour (3pm-8pm 50% off), so instead of $30, I only paid a flat rate of $15. NEVER encountered that in the U.S before. Wow!!! SERVICE: Upon arrival, the staff member was hella chill and nice. He gave me an ipad which navigates the songs online but there are other ways you can search up songs. He did not tell me how to navigate it, but it's really easy and I was able to figure it out very quickly. Just type your song, and press play/next. He did not give me a time to start, so just incase, I put my own 1 hour timer. Although he didn't really do a run down, he did give a disclaimer that if you have any questions he is willing to help! QUALITY: The mics were very echo-y but also a good legit karaoke mic. I advice that if you don't since close to the mic it echoes less. The staff member also gave sanitary mic covers which I appreciate! AMBIANCE: I only needed a small room, and their small room fits 1-3 people yet was SO spacious!! I love how there were hella strobe lights. The bathroom was VERY clean! Saving this on my go to places when I visit OC again.

A bottle of water that can be found at your local area can be sold for a buck or a little more but five? It's crazy for me to even say that because I would rather spend for a big cup drink for 10 dollars at the movie theater but even then they still give refills. Prices aren't even shown anywhere online and I was shocked some people were okay with these prices, y'all can call me broke I don't care still think these prices are outrageous. I even think they have the cheapest brand of alcohol and are up pricing it by 2 or 3 times the original amount they bought it for. This place is underrated for a karaoke lounge, and I hope it gets more traffic. VIP Karaoke Lounge…read moreis a fantastic venue for mid to large groups wanting to karaoke or celebrate special group occasions. It's located within the Asian Garden Mall, on the second floor. There isn't much signage from inside to know where it is, so it's definitely recommended to enter on the side entrace with the location spotlight as well as other signage. Something to note is that the mall closes around 7pm, which they also barracade the front and back entrances at that time too. Recommended parking is in a lot right across from the side entrance of the mall where you enter VIP from. The curbs say 1hr parking, but staff and even mall security confirm it is just there and not enforced, it might have been at one point, but why drive foot traffic from the mall away? Making a reservation was easy and Samantha was an absolute gem, answering all my questions and helping me and my group. She provided me all the parking information as well as room rates. Becauase parking could be a little confusing, I decided to go with my boyfriend to check it out so I could relay the info to my guests. She and other staff were so friendly and welcoming letting us see the spaces and excited for us to come. They have their own bar and kitchen, so outside food is allowed at a flat rate of $35 for food and $35/bottle of outside alcohol (anything that looks like it could be shared). So they encourage people to buy food/drink there which is understandable. They do allow cake for special occasions which I appreciate as it did not incur the food fee. The space is lovely, and clean. Definitely club vibes with the blue lights lighting the space. It consists primarily of medium sized rooms with 1 small room and 1 large room for up to 30 people. I originally booked a medium sized room but had to downgrade to a smaller room last minute which was no problem at the time of my visit. Samanth helped explain the karaoke system which was straight forward. They utilize an iPad system where you can choose songs from their karaoke database or from YouTube which I prefer over some of the older karaoke spots utilizing binders. Definitely removes limits as to what songs you can choose as it's open. Queueing up songs was simple too. Sound system was clear and loud, could feel the base from the adjacent room but it was only between songs and not overpowering. Room rates are a little higher, but worth the quality experience and splitting with a group reduced the cost to something more manageable. I will say I think we got charged the medium room rate instead of the small room rate of $55/hour as we spent 3 hours for a base total of $165. But I was on as it was a last minute change and they were so accommodating. I probably should have asked but didn't Check out this space for your next gathering, celebration, or just a karaoke sesh with friend in a modern and updated space. Will definitely be back.

We had about 12 people and were placed in Room 10, which felt pretty small for our group--we all had to squeeze onto the couch to fit. The temperature was another challenge--either too hot or too stuffy with no comfortable in-between. The room had a small iPad to preload songs into the queue, but not everything we wanted was available. There was a YouTube option, but when we used it, no lyrics would show on the screen. On the plus side, the room felt clean, and they even had a cute birthday banner already set up, which was a nice touch! I do wish there had been at least a small trash can inside, though--we had no idea where to put our trash. When the night was over and we went to pay, the total was almost $500! I couldn't believe it. According to their site, for 12 people it's $126/hour plus $2 per person for bringing in your own food and drinks. I totally get the BYOB fee--it's fair--but wow, that total still felt steep. They also charged $7 for 5 disposable cups, which was a bit much. So we decided to ask our other friend to bring cups! I still had a good time and it was fun because of the company I was with, but for the price, I've been to other karaoke spots (like one in Westminster) with bigger rooms, friendlier staff, and more value for the money. Here, I felt like the staff barely acknowledged us when we arrived or left. Not a bad night, but probably not my first choice next time.
