We really enjoyed our meal! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance was next level[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] and the service was nice, but a bit too quick at times. We felt like we were fighting to keep the plates at our table as every minute or so someone would come by to collect them as we were still eating. The food itself had some good highlights but also some room for improvement. The flavor of each dish and balance of main course and entree was well executed, but I found the oysters a bit shriveled and tiny compared to my typical experience, and the capers and olive oil in the lamb dish was a bit too generous and took away from the natural flavor of the meat. It's definitely about who you get in the kitchen that day because the desserts were fantastic, and they even helped us celebrate Father's Day by bringing out a sparkler and multiple rounds of delicious donuts! We would come back but maybe when it's a bit less busy.

We came by for dinner with a few friends and decided to try a variety of items on the menu! The parking lot does get a bit hectic when you're there during prime time but there are plenty of parking garages if you're willing to hike over. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Once you walk in you're taken away by the fun atmosphere and beautiful decor.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The menu has a little of everything from seafood, to souvlaki, and more. Their cocktails are delish, and their deserts are always so fun to try. The menu prices are on the pricer side but you do get the quality and the experience, and great service with it. We can't wait to come back and try other menu items.

I like the ambiance of Violi. I found the decor of Violi comfortable, not crammed, modern, and clean. Friendly staff greeted and seated us at 5pm on Saturday without a reservation. Caution: going later without a reservation probably would not work out well. I was a bit jealous we didn't get one of their interesting, cozy-looking round booths. Service was good, The busy waiter made sure to be at our table or inform us when he would get to us. He and bus staff kept our table clean. The seared meatballs delightfully surprised me. I expected mediocre based on past experiences at other restaurants but got delicious instead. We also had horiatiki salad, Good but not the best I have had. It could use more onion and bell peppers. Finally we had the lamb souvlaki. It was quite good on its own and it came with excellent tzasiki for dipping and a nice red dipping sauce too. My only nit here is prices but for Oak Brook prices are about par for the course. I will eat here again.

We came here for the very first visit for a Friday meal. It definitely wasn't packed or busy, but luckily, I did make reservations ahead of time just in case. We did walk over here as we normally park on the Neiman side. We were seated immediately greeted by the nicest person at the at the front host stand. It took a while for our server to come over, and when our server finally came over, she did not introduce herself. She did not ask us if it was our first time there did not ask us or welcome us quite frankly at all. And this kind of behavior just continued throughout the meal. I should only checked in on us once did not even bother to make any recommendations or to quite frankly have any civilized personable conversation. Well, I do recognize that she had a few tables, but the restaurant was not filled. This is rather concerning for a dine Amic entity. The ambience as many have written is absolutely breathtaking and beautiful. Definitely a modern take on a Greek style. The food was absolutely delicious and came out piping hot fresh Additional concerns are that the portions are rather small for the prices. And there are other Greek restaurants in the suburbs that offer the same menu items with larger portions at similar prices. And they are also nearby. However, I will say that the service alone was a huge turn off. I am giving the four stars, simply due to ambience, location, convenience, the food, quality, and selection. Not pictured is the mango mule I ordered it is a mock tail. That was delicious too, and when that was brought to the table by your server, she literally just brought it to the table and set it down instead of perhaps saying "and here is your mango mule please enjoy." So these little efforts for hospitality in a hospitality business were completely neglected. We weren't even thanked for coming in. We weren't even thanked for trying them out. We weren't thanked for anything. Actually I was the one thinking the support staff for refilling my water once. I was never asked if I wanted another drink. I even have to pack up my own leftovers.

Delicious happy hour menu--and even better, it's available on the weekend! The soup is both hearty and flavorful, making it incredibly satisfying. Every spoonful is packed with rich, well-balanced flavors. The grilled meatballs are a standout, with layers of flavor that complement each other perfectly--definitely one of my favorites here. The zucchini and eggplant chips are always a hit--crispy, perfectly cooked, and never soggy.

This is my second time at Violi and definitely won't be our last! This time we came at night & its an experience! The sparkler show was such a fun and interactive thing to be a part of! Let's start with drinks, we ordered the tripoli & the mykonos spritz. Both were delicious, a bit overpriced, but still good overall. The presentation was very cute though! On to the food, we started with the charred octopus. They sliced it at the table, which was a cool thing to see, but the octopus was tender and flavorful. Great way to start the meal. Our two entrees were the charred filet mignon and the cast-iron moussaka. The filet mignon was cooked well, and the fries were absolutely delicious, but the cast-iron moussaka takes the cake. I loved the creamy orzo that paired well with the lamb, which wasn't gamey at all. To end the meal, we got the bougatsa which was also prepared at the table and the caramel with the phyllo pillow paired with the ice cream was amazing!! Overall the meal was expensive, so defintely not an everyday type of meal, but if you're looking for a dinner + experience for a special occasion, this would be the spot!

Love the variety of options. For the adults the food was great but smaller portions than expecting. Kids menu we had ordered steak and it came out too hard and tough for the kiddo to eat. Had came for a celebration and was asked if there's anything we're celebrating. What was the point of asking if not doing anything special.The table next to us got a mini celebration dessert where we did not. Overall, a bit disappointed not what was expected.

Happy Hour Review! Still thinking about my time with friends last night at Violi! This restaurant is within the Oak Brook Mall. Parking was a bit challenging but they do offer valet. From the moment you step "inside", I was floored at how beautiful it was. There are so many floral and lighting accents on the outdoor patio before entering inside to gorgeous wooden features, more amazing lights, and an elevated Mediterranean atmosphere. The host was so welcoming and was immediately sat. The good vibes didn't stop at the door with Todd as our server. He was very persistent on checking in on our table, made great suggestions on food and drinks, and kept us laughing all night. The busers were also on top of water refills and clearing plates. For drinks, my group ordered all three Signature Drinks. I got The Karpouzi and loved it! It was fruity, refreshing, but still had a spirit bite. The Hades wasn't very spicy and had great flavor and Hera's Elixir was delicious but a bit tart. My only drawback was that these three drinks are prebatched to help the bar out. For food, we got a variety of dishes: Saganaki, Spanakopitakia, Grilled Meatballs, Crispy Zucchini & Eggplant, Fresh Oysters, and Tzatziki Spread. When I say there wasn't a bad dish, wow! Some of the Happy Hour portions are smaller but that can be expected. We also tried the Bougatsa (signature dessert) and Sokolatopita- amazing! Overall, I had the best time trying Violi. The inside is beautiful, staff were great, and food/drinks really impressed me. Highly recommend trying out this happy hour soon!

Very white and cream tones with those woven basket-like light fixtures.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My husband took me for my bday tonight so we went with the more romantic option and I loved it! Our server was so sweet and available, always checking in. The food was delicious! I love a good seafood pasta. [[HIGHLIGHT]]And everyone, well the customers, sang happy birthday when they saw me holding the sparklers.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] And to top it off when they gave me my birthday dessert, the server was guessing my age, saying I was 21 only because I was drinking, so I have to give them 5 stars. Joking aside this was a great restaurant and wonderful first time experience.

First time there. Beautifully decorated. Upscale vibe. Kiana, our server, was extremely friendly and helpful although she was MIA at times so we asked for help from other attendants who were glad to help. She probably had too many tables to serve. The menu included many interesting selections. We ordered 2 glasses of wine, calamari, the fish main entree, and two skewer dishes. We also shared a side of eggplant. All the food was excellent but quite pricey. Our check was $216 which included a 20% tip. I would recommend for special occasions. Other: parking on a Sunday night was difficult... Oak Brook mall. friendly and professional service. beautiful atmosphere, good food. the waitstaff offered assorted citrus fruits with my water which was a nice surprise. decided to come for lunch on a weekday and it was relatively empty, but i can see this kind of place being absolutely packed on weekends and at dinner. the portions are a bit small so this is a place where you would order multiple things, definitely driving up the cost considerably. the octopus appetizer was okay, the charring made it bitter but the supplemental lemon was necessary. the meatballs were great. the yogurt sauce was delicious and the meatballs themselves were flavorful. the chicken souvlaki was good. it was a bit tough for thigh, but the yogurt sauce and other condiments made it better. the pita was great! i'm not usually a huge pita fan because i find them dry and/or bland. the pita served here was nicely toasted with a great texture, fluffy on the inside but lightly crispy on the outside. overall, i would return here again because i'd like to try other appetizers and dishes, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is really nice. read more

Tuesday Jan 7th ... we decided to celebrate a birthday here at Violi.... We got here around 4:30pm They offer a happy hour menu from 3-6pm weekdays... so that was nice! We did order from the happy hour menu but also the dinner menu. We ordered the following: $1 fresh orders?! Ooooh yes please... 5/5 stars .... Fresh and Dee-lish, we ordered a dozen Tarama with black caviar $8 - 5/5 stars - pita was warm which we enjoyed and the Tarama was so flavorful and addictive... there were a small amount of caviar.., we didn't mind at all. For $8 it was worth it! Charred Octopus $26 - 3/5 stars -- I've had this before and we were served 2 perfectly grilled tentacles... today though we only got one small sized tentacle and a tad bit under cooked... disappointing Charred filet mignon $49 - 5/5 stars - this was cooked to perfection ( medium rare ) and the potatoes were seasoned perfectly Slow roasted lamb gyros $36 - 4/5 stars - so tender and great flavor. Loukoumades ( dessert ) $15 - 2/5 stars - mini donuts were warm but way undercooked inside.... Ewww didn't like it but we didn't return it or made a scene. Next time, we will stick with Bougatsa which we enjoyed in the past. I ordered a rose from the happy hour menu $8, Ben got a Don Julio Anejo $24, couple of Mythos beer $16 Our bill was $225+, and Jake our server was attentive and courteous, we gave him a good tip. Ambiance: 5/5 It is beautifully decorated inside and the heated outdoor seating was very romantic too. Service: 4/5 Food: 5/5 Overall, everything came hot, fresh, and delicious. Our favorites included the lamb gyros and lobster linguine. The gyros came as a DIY and it was super fun filling the fluffiest pita breads w all the ingredients. Visited Violi for a date night, and it was a great experience overall. The atmosphere is chic and inviting, perfect for a special evening out. All the food tasted light, fresh, and thoughtfully prepared. Our standout dishes were the fried calamari and the slow-roasted lamb gyro. The calamari was perfectly crispy, and the gyro was packed with flavor--plus, it's a great option for sharing if you're ordering other plates. While the service was slow (likely due to how busy it was), our server was great--super nice and attentive when they got to us, which we appreciated. The food was great! And their lunch deal for crw '24 is a steal for sure cause I left so full! The interior is beautiful and is decorated the same as its sister restaurant Lyra which is also worth checking out. The menu items are basically the same. I chose the spinach mini pies for my 1st course and they are addicting. The star of the show in my opinion was the lamb gyro and fries! The lamb was so tender and flavorful and the pita was thick and soft. It was so filling! And whatever seasoning they put on their fries - amazing! To end my meal I chose the orange cake with greek yogurt ice cream which was just ok to me. I love greek food and I enjoyed my meal here! read more

Violi is the PERFECT place for date night, an evening out with friends or any celebratory occasion. Think sparklers, a dj spinning tunes, a small light show and attentive wait staff. It's a vibrant scene with music that makes you want to get out of your chair as the evening progresses and noteworthy menu, including a diverse wine selection, creative cocktails and classics. Cocktail selection: 5/5 Lamb Gyros: 5/5 Grilled Octopus: 4/5 Greek Salad: 5/5 Lamb chops: 5/5 Deconstructed baklava: 5/5 Favorites Highly recommend their Greek salad (the feta is the best I've had outside of Greece) and lamb chops. If you have any interest in something sweet, the deconstructed baklava will blow you away. I'm typically not a fan of baklava, but their creation includes praline ice cream and cracker thin phyllo dough. Worth Mentioning My only disappointment was asking for a little more tzatziki. I was charged $5 for the one delivered to the table (that wasn't completely used and could have been packed up) and $5 for another included in my take away. I'm not sure there's a good way to inform guests of the additional charge but we were somewhat blindsided. I highly recommend a reservation. It gets pretty crowded on weekends. read more

I ventured out here to meet fellow Yelper Latrice A. She discovered this place from an Instagram post and recommended that we meet here for lunch. As it was a Sunday, I thought going to Oakbrook might not be too bad. I typically do not go to the suburbs to dine due to the traffic but decided to go since I was meeting my girl. The restaurant is located in the mall, so I was not expecting to walk into a lovely outside area with heaters and a lovely décor. Latrice made the reservation and was not aware that it was for the patio, in March no less. We asked if they could turn up the heaters and later had to ask them to turn them down because those suckers got hot. Lunch was delightful. Latrice got a chicken gyros sandwich with fries that she said was pretty good. She also got The Karpouzi for her cocktail (Sipsmith gin, elderflower liqueur, watermelon, cucumber, lemon, oregano). She enjoyed it but mentioned that they had hooked up up with the alcohol as she was not expecting it to be as strong as it was....didn't seem to stop her from enjoying it I got the grilled meatballs with smoked yogurt, tomato, and mint. These were very good and the smoked yogurt was a nice complement to the meatballs. For my entrée I got a lamb burger, which was so so good! Our server, Violet A, was so adorable and accommodating. As Latrice mention in her review, Violet was able to speak on the restaurant with authority. She spoke about the various dishes and their preparations, and it was very nice to hear. A lot of servers have no clue what is on the menu of the places they are working, let alone able to speak on the preparation, so that was cool. As I have mentioned in multiple reviews, I am not big on desserts, but Violet and her explanation of the preparation of the Portokalopita (orange syrup cake, white chocolate mousse, Greek yogurt ice cream, crispy filo). Her description of the preparation and the taste sold me and Latrice, so we split an order. We both agreed that it was wonderful. Not sure how often I would come back out here, but it has been added to my list of places to revisit outside of the city. And if Violet A is still there, I want her to wait on me. read more

Phenomenal! I was in town for a wedding and heard great things about Violi so I had to try it before I left town. It was DELICIOUS. The drinks were unique and flavorful and packed a much needed lunch. The dishes were also incredible. There wasn't a single item I wouldn't have ordered again. To top this off, the service and ambiance were perfect. It was aesthetically beautiful, lively, and made me forget I was in the suburbs of Illinois. I loved this place. Incredible food and atmosphere. This is an upscale restaurant with a beautiful interior and stunning decor. I ordered the lamb chops and they were cooked and seasoned perfectly! The lamb came with eggplant salata which was absolutely delicious. We had the calamari for our appetizer and it was so good! It comes with this amazing tartar sauce that is mixed with lemon and smoked paprika. It was absolutely packed and super busy(it was a Saturday) so I'd say our waiter did a good job considering that. The only complaints I have is that we had a reservation and we had to wait 25 minutes to be seated, and my boyfriend's filet was undercooked (he requested it medium well). Violi is an upscale Greek restaurant. Many of the menu items are on the expensive side. The food and cocktails are great. The ambience is loud and the service is good. We arrived early, just as happy hour was over and there were not too many people dining. However, the music was loud and it was hard to have a conversation. It only got worse as the meal progressed. By the end of our meal we were shouting and saying "What" a lot. They have great cocktails - try the Ginger Muse. And the food was very good. We started with the Breads and Spreads, which was a nice portion for four to share. The spicy feta spread was out of this world good! I loved the Beef Tenderloin Souvlakia. It's one of the more reasonably priced entrées. A lot of the reviews mention that this dish lacks seasoning but I found it to be well-seasoned and the beef was very flavorful. Came here after dinner to grab some more drinks to celebrate my friend's birthday. I was courteous to our waiter and mentioned we just came out to grab some drinks for my friend's birthday which was all good. It was a good experience and better than my previous time here during the afternoon. They were kind to bring out some sort of dessert but it was disappointing to see that on the check as we didn't ask for it.... Which costed 8.00 dollars. We've been here now a few times and I can wholeheartedly say that I love this restaurant. It's a sister restaurant to the one in west loop called Lyra. The food is Mediterranean and it's absolutely delicious. We had about 13 people in our party and even then our server was so attentive! If you're into Greek cuisine, this is a must try! I've driven by this restaurant plenty of times and finally decided to give it a try. Finding parking in this area can be pretty difficult, but luckily Violi offers valet parking for $8. The restaurant and terrace are beautiful to say the least. I went during restaurant week and tried that menu. I started with the meatballs. They weren't great in my opinion. They were kind of greasy and I didn't like the tomato sauce. It was bland and lacked flavor. I also had the brussels sprouts which weren't on the restaurant week menu. They were absolutely delicious! I loved the Greek yogurt and onions that were in the dish. I chose the chicken thigh with potatoes as my entree. The chicken was juicy and flavorful. The potatoes were nice and crispy and also incorporated Greek yogurt. Lastly, for dessert I tried the walnut and banana cake. I thoroughly enjoyed it. It came with a small scoop of ice cream and chocolate/coffee sauce. So good! Being vegetarian, the waiter suggested to do a vegetarian pasta which was amazing! We loved the fire roasted eggplant and spankopetata (I spelled that wrong sorry) and the garden gem salad. I love Violi as it makes me feel like I'm in Greece dining on tapas, dipping my pita into a velvety homemade hummus and spicy feta and tzatziki... nibbling on roasted beets and charred octopus and sipping the perfect cocktail. Major portion size change :( A couple months ago I would've given this place a lot more stars but my last visit left me disappointed. I ordered the same plate I ordered a month back and when I got it I was confused because I counted 7 noodles on my plate for $26.99 (look at pictures for reference) When just a month ago it was a normal sized portion that you could even bring home as leftovers. I asked what happened and the waiter explained that they switched to city portions and prices to try out at this location??? Why are we bringing the city to the suburbs? I would rather pay more and receive a normal portion. Other than that the restaurants ambience is beautiful. Drinks are good, food is great flavor wise. My husband and I met some friends for dinner at Violi on a Friday night. Getting to the restaurant was a HUGE PAIN. The parking was horrendous. Once we got to Oakbrook Center, it took us ten minutes to find a parking spot, and we ended up parking several football fields away. We had to cross dangerous traffic at night to get there. The experience was not much better once we got inside. Once you enter the restaurant, you are immediately hit by an unpleasant and LOUD thumping music. It felt more like a nightclub than an intimate restaurant. The lighting is very dark. It was hard to read the menu. When I tried to take pictures, my camera went to night mode, and we were INDOORS. Violi charges a lot to for their food. This is acceptable if the food delivers a premium experience. The food was average. It was underseasoned. It was OK but not worth the price we paid. The dishes were brought out at different times. Our friends were polite and didn't start eating until all the dishes were brought out. That meant that they had to wait five minutes to eat while their food was getting cold. I cannot recommend Violi. There are much better choices for a much better price available. read more

We just came for after dinner drinks at Violi. We were pleasantly surprised! The drinks were delicious and the service was great. We were surprised when at 9:55 they passed out these light fiber wands to everyone in the restaurant. Right at 10 pm the DJ dropped the beat and the whole place lit up with these wands. The restaurant is beautiful. The service is quick, the menu isn't overbearing. You do have to be sure to shell out some cash, though. This isn't inexpensive. You also must reserve. Anyone that opens a restaurant in Oak Brook Mall will always be packed, so you will get that whole "good luck finding a reservation" on your radar. It's an annoying part of Oak Brook, but smart for the business, of course. The food is modern Greek, you're not going to get slop on a plate and the visual of the food is going to be more than your standard rice with tomato base sauce. Violi is really setting the stage to show you the capabilities of what fantastic Greek cuisine is really like. I would actually give this about 3.5 stars because the food cost do not match the food portions. These plates are made for sharing, but they aren't priced that way. For the one & only experience in October 2023, so hopefully management has improved drastically since then: We came here with our young children back in October 2023. Restaurants normally sit families towards the back or corner or a restaurant. We got seated in the front, where heaters were. My mother-in-law was bitten by a WASP in the beginning of dinner, after we placed our order, but before food arrived. They had us fill out a form immediately. My mother-in-law was in a lot of pain as the bite grew exponentially. She insisted that we finish dinner because of the kids. At the end, the management charged us for the full dinner, and they tried to say that the wasp could have bitten my mother-in-law somewhere besides the restaurant because it was strange that it occurred inside, deflecting any responsibility at all. We were glad that it wasn't the kids because it could have been so much worse. I couldn't believe that that was how management tried to handle the incident. Violi is a great spot for a date night or to grab a drink with friends. The atmosphere is definitely the star of the show! The restaurant is beautifully decorated with bamboo lighting, a floral ceiling, and textured wall decor, which gives it a modern coastal feel. Since Violi is participating in restaurant week my partner ordered off the special menu while I ordered off the regular dinner menu. We started with the charred octopus and the spanakopita. My partner thought the octopus was ok but not charred enough. The spanakopita was good. I enjoyed the crispy phyllo and the spinach but we both thought there was too much feta. For entree's we got the Greek roasted half chicken and the slow roasted lamb gyro. The chicken was moist and the flavor was good but I would've liked more seasoning. The crispy potatoes served on the side were warm and flavorful. My partner thought the lamb was a little bland and very oily. Despite being served with a dry seasoning on the side, it didn't help with the flavor of the meat because of all the oil. We finished our meal with the sokolatopita. This was my least favorite part of the meal. I thought the cake itself was moist and well baked but it didn't really taste like anything and the brown butter ice cream tasted like regular vanilla. Well, consistency is fantastic. I do wish they had expanded the menu to make lokoumades dessert. It's one of my favorites and they still don't offer it.

I'm giving Beatrix a generous 2 due to the space being beautiful and my latte being great. Unfortunately this is not a spot I'll be returning to.

Spring Rd. Gibsons has long been known as a go-to for a slightly upscale steakhouse experience in the suburbs. I hadn't been in years, but we were in the area and decided to go somewhere a bit nicer for dinner to celebrate my birthday, so we gave Gibsons another try. One highlight was the complimentary valet service, it was quick, easy, and very efficient. The restaurant was busy with lots of families and celebrations. The interior has a classic, almost mob-era steakhouse vibe, reminiscent of old-school 1930s-40s Italian-American dining rooms. Service was friendly and accommodating throughout the night. I ordered an Old Fashioned, and for my entrée I had a ribeye with a side of potatoes and broccoli. My friend ordered a filet mignon salad. We also shared a side salad. The food was solid overall, but the salads were a bit watery, and the ranch dressing was just okay. The steak was good, but not quite the standout I expected given the price point, ribs are close to $70, so expectations are understandably high. Everything felt consistent, but not particularly memorable. That said, Gibsons does feel very steady and familiar, which may be part of its appeal. It's the kind of place people return to because they know exactly what they're going to get. Even the bread was fine, but nothing really stood out as exceptional. One of the more memorable (and amusing) parts of the experience was the birthday tradition. I still can't fully make out what they're saying during the birthday song, it's loud, a bit barked, and honestly both funny and slightly intimidating. I can't decide if I love it or would be terrified by it as a kid. There was also an interesting moment with dessert, my ice cream was placed in a plastic bag inside a box of ice. Creative, but not exactly elegant. I definitely didn't eat it, but it was memorable in its own way. Overall, if you're looking for a consistent, classic steakhouse experience that leans more familiar than elevated, Gibsons fits that role. 3.5 out of 5 stars.

We recently hosted my baby shower at Violí Oak Brook, and while I have to give credit where it's due, the food was genuinely delicious. Unfortunately, our overall experience was incredibly disappointing. The biggest issue was the event space. Right before our shower began, the staff opened all of the windows in our private room on an 85 degree day, despite the restaurant having air conditioning. As someone who is pregnant, this made the room unbearably hot. Many of our guests were visibly uncomfortable, and I personally needed multiple fans just to get through my own baby shower. When we asked if anything could be done to cool the room or close the windows, we were simply told it would be "too much work." That response was shocking, especially for a venue hosting an important celebration. We felt completely dismissed. To make matters worse, although we had reserved a space that included an adjoining area, none of our guests were seated there. Instead, more than 50 people were packed into a room designed to comfortably hold around 40 guests, making the heat and overcrowding even worse. The final disappointment came at the end of the event when we were unexpectedly charged $4 per guest, for more than 50 guests, because we provided small party favors that included a packaged macaron. These were favors for our guests, not dessert service or catering, yet they were classified as "outside food" and resulted in an additional charge that was never clearly communicated beforehand. We intentionally chose Violí because it offered an indoor, air conditioned private event space. Unfortunately, that is not the experience we received. It is heartbreaking that what should have been such a special day was overshadowed by being overheated, overcrowded, and feeling unsupported by the staff. If you are considering Violí for a private event, I encourage you to ask detailed questions about room setup, temperature control, occupancy limits, and additional fees before booking. The food was excellent, but based on our experience, I would not choose this venue again for an event. read more

Last week, I went to a restaurant with my friends to celebrate a special occasion, but it turned out to be a disappointing experience. First, the hostess was rude and dismissive when we arrived, making us wait for over 20 minutes before finally seating us at a dirty table that hadn't been properly cleaned. When we finally ordered our food, it took over an hour to arrive, and when it did, it was cold and tasteless. We complained to our server, but he seemed disinterested and didn't offer any solutions or apologies. To make matters worse, when we asked for the check, we were overcharged and had to spend an additional 30 minutes arguing with the server and manager to get it corrected. Overall, it was an unpleasant and frustrating experience, and I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. In an area where most restaurant have several locations and can sometimes lack excitement, this restaurant had exciting ambiance, incredible food, and good service.
