Tasting will cost $75 (at least) per person. The tasting fee will not work towards purchase of wine. Ray was our wine host at this tasting room. Frank was also extremely friendly and welcoming . Ray and Frank are knowledgeable and dedicated. It is definitely laid back and not high pressure. Just friendly and shoot the breeze vibes. Note that this winery sources it's grapes from elsewhere mostly in the Napa area and they focus on wine making. There isn't a large mansion, expansive grounds or caves to tour. This is a winery if you're interested in the wine label itself not a vineyard tour. We are impressed by the wines and enjoyed almost all of them. They are reasonably priced for wine purchase though I'm not used to paying $75-150 per person for tastings during the almost post pandemic Napa climate though I understand the price increase. . The wines range from $25-75 which is not considered over the top in Napa. We enjoy Saxum wines ( $100 to $500) very very occasionally and I would consider that high end , so Vinoce is definitely not on the high end in terms of price nor overpriced for their wines. Fun fact: Our host mentioned that their wines are seen on the TV show series "succession" ... We enjoyed our tasting and especially loved the Pinot and Cabernet. The space was perfect for our event, with a beautiful outdoor area overlooking the river and a super fun and spacious indoor area that our guests absolutely loved hanging out in. The Vinoce wines were amazing and paired really well with the cheese and charcuterie. Ray and the team were so attentive and caring. Very hip, personal, warm vibe - not stuffy or pretentious at all. On the water, overlooking a row of mature cactuses and the mountains in the distance. (Tasting fee was $50 on a Thursday. Waived with a $100 purchase of wine.) We had an extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and personable host who said he has been working for the winemakers for many years. The wine was incredible. Hands down one of the best spots and proud to be a member here. We started here about a year ago and since then have become extra happy members and always bring our loved ones here. Every time we come, we feel so welcome and at home. Don't even get me started on the Wines, super fair price and perfect variety. Our favorite is the lucky penny and the Pinot, but everything else is worth it! Tastings are solid with generous pours! The location is right off of the Napa river so on a nice day, try to sit outside. Tim and Raymond run the place like everyone's their best friends and family. Stopped by this tasting room on a whim and had a delightful experience. I've been a fan of the Vinoce Cabernet Franc for a little while now (first tried it at the Vintner's Collective and was instantly hooked) so I was excited to hear that Vinoce had their own tasting room. It's in an unassuming little building near downtown Napa and since it's open until 6 pm most nights, the place is hopping in the late afternoon. We arrived without an appointment and were warmly greeted shortly after we walked in. The tasting room is literally a grouping of tables inside the actual cellar and you sit among wine barrels and stainless steel fermenting tanks. A super friendly dog yellow lab named Daisy came running up to greet us with her tail wagging too, and I always give extra stars to a winery with friendly animals. This place is run by young guys with a very laid back attitude and a relaxed atmosphere that can sometimes feel a bit too casual, especially when they disappear in the middle of your wine tasting and you're just left sitting there. Everything is very nonchalant and carefree, which makes it a wholly unintimidating experience (perfect for the first-timer to Napa who doesn't know where to start). It also feels more like a neighborhood gathering place than a proper wine tasting venue, which isn't a bad thing! That's not really a criticism because if you're searching for zero pretension and zero snobbery, this is your place. The pours are extremely large with what seem to be no limits, so it goes without saying that the place got packed around 5 pm (when most of the other wineries in town have already closed). There were obvious regulars here too, and large groups of people doing wine "tastings." Even with the concrete floors and big crowd, it surprisingly never got too loud inside. We joined the wine club solely for the great discount on the wines and left with a case of our fave (the Vinoce Cab Franc). We also threw in a few bottles of Twenty Rows to give as holiday gifts because they were decent enough and so stinking cheap with the club discount. Note that there are two different labels being poured here: the accessible and lower priced Twenty Rows wines and the higher end, absolutely delicious Vinoce wines. Casual drinkers will want to stick to the Twenty Rows tasting while connoisseurs will no doubt gravitate towards the Vinoce wines. read more

Great hidden gem off the beaten path and still just a few blocks from downtown (nice walk or short car ride away). Looks can be deceiving because when you first drive up it feels like you're entering a back alley warehouse parking lot and there's no way a beautiful tasting room awaits around the corner. But nevertheless, just park and head on back. I came with a couple of girlfriends and we were greeted by Tyler, the nicest down to earth guy. Although the tables outside had a fabulous view of the Napa river we decided to take a wine barrel table inside. There were a couple of adorable pooches roaming around which made the environment even more inviting. Soft music in the background was great, mostly hip hop. For the wine, what can I say, it was great. They have a good variety of tasting selection for very reasonable prices. I ended up taking home a few bottles of the 2018 Vinoce Sauvignon Blanc which I believe they referred to it as the Napa Gatorade (ha- it was so easy to drink). The view of the Napa River is surreal, the tasting room has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, the music was inviting and the wine is exquisite. I spent a few hours at the tasting room and I was blown away by the knowledge, passion, and service. All other wineries I called were booked up. I was excited that Vinoce & 21 Rows was able to take me; especially since they were so highly rated. When I got there though, I was sorely disappointed and had no clue why they were rated so high.. The place itself is questionable; I was wondering if I was at the right place because it looked run down. It certainly was not a scenic, relaxing place I was hoping to go for a tasting. It was basically a gravel lot with 3 barrel tables; one was taken, one was in the smoldering sun and one was under an umbrella so luckily I got that one. The dogs there barely had any room to move, they were stuck in their little shade because the ground was too hot for them to walk around. The place itself was just depressing (I was basically staring at cacti and dirt) but I figure I'd stay for a quick taste. The blonde who served me was ok. She basically served me my first tasting and never came back. She was busy chopping it up with the other table. So another guy came out and said "hey I noticed your glass has been empty so here's our next one!" I guess he noticed her slacking too cause he kind of took over. He was nice and the right amount of attentive. I wasn't my normal social self because I really was not feeling the atmosphere at all. All their wines were ok; nothing good enough for me to want to buy and I usually find something I LOVE and have to bring home. I think he realized that and quickly checked me out once I was done. I appreciate not being pressured to purchase their wines. Maybe this place is rated high because perhaps it's more lively indoors pre-COVID? Tucked in next to a wonderful riverfront behind the old tannery building (Google will misdirect you, so watch for signs), in this funky but authentic tasting room, Tim will even pour you a glass of wine, rather than a flight. I am from San Diego and love visiting local breweries, learning about the different beers, talking to passionate brewers. This is the experience I got at Twenty Rows & Vinoce. I felt right at home. As soon as we were seated, they poured us a glass of complimentary Pinot Grigio. You can try five different wines for $20. I already knew I wanted their Cabernet Sauvignon and got a glass for $10. Service was on point and the staff was very knowledgeable about their wines. I loved that this tasting room was spacious, dog friendly, with a lot of seating. I left with a bottle of wine for my dad. Ok, I love this place! Since it was dreary weather out, we were looking for a chill, indoors, and affordable place to sip a bottle of wine and this place fit the bill! It's kind of hidden away in a business park, but the space was remodeled beautifully. It looks very chic and there is plenty of space and seating for large groups. Though their website says to make reservations for groups over 8. The wine list offered wines from both Vinoce and Twenty Rows. Some were decently priced bottles (less than $30) and some were more fancy bottles (over $80), so there's something for every taste bud. We opted out of the tasting (which were $25 or $30 I think for 4 wines) and parked on the couch, ordered a bottle of red wine and a cheese platter, the perfect combination. I can't remember which red we tried, but it was smooth and easy drinking. During our time here, we also got greeted by the owner's dog who was just the cutest thing. The friendly servers and owners also stopped by frequently to say hello and check up on us. This is definitely a place I could hang out at all day! read more

This charming spot was our final stop during our Napa trip. We were greeted with two glasses of the Chardonnay to start our tasting with smiles from the staff and happy dogs. The overall ambience was really chill, less bougie yet classy and down-to-earth, especially compared to our previous stops. Every staff member is responsible for the guests, so we had multiple servers come to offer us the same wine - which could have been annoying, but was really fun due to their friendly, bright personalities. The cheese plate came with a couple slices of Brie, craisins, pistachio, and crackers. The Brie is apparently handmade, and tasted pretty good but the texture was a bit harder than preferred. Probably my favorite winery in the downtown Napa area of the few we tried. Family owned and operated, this winery was so much fun. Tyler was an incredible host. He had a great story for every tasting; not just boring facts about the grapes and the season and blah blah blah, but family anecdotes and such. It was really entertaining and kept us all in stitches. The entire ambiance of the place is so chill and laid back. You can purchase a flight but it's pretty much waived if you buy a bottle or two... Which you definitely will because not only will you appreciate the taste, but the stories behind them make for good conversation later. A very warm and welcoming initial vibe when we arrived here about 3pm on a Saturday. We were greeted right away by Kevin, who was super friendly, and there were a handful of seats still available, which was unexpectedly awesome. It's a dimly lit environment with cute decor that's relaxing and comfortable. They have stools you can sit on at barrel tables or tall tables but also chairs and couches, if you prefer a little back support. There was also a (football? Basketball? Idk i forgot) game on, so if that's what you're into, something you'd appreciate. The tasting menu was $25 for five tastings and I enjoyed mostly all of them. I'm not too keen on Zins but the Zin on this menu I liked more than most. The Vinoce Sauvignon Blanc was my fave out of the group which surprised me bc I usually prefer reds. I appreciated the service Tyler and Kevin provided. There were about 7 other groups and we still felt very attended to.
