Vince's Landscaping has done both our front and back yard landscape project's a couple of years apart, and both turned out fantastic. The projects were somewhat complex and involved coordination with other contractors, but Vince and his team handled everything smoothly. They showed up when they said they would, worked efficiently, stayed on the job until it was finished, and paid close attention to detail. We've gotten many compliments, and we've been happy to see Vince's crews subsequently working on other projects in the neighborhood. We highly recommend Vince's Landscaping.

We talked to over 4 different landscape companies and Steven stood out the most to us as being the most practical and having our best interests in mind. We weren't sure exactly what we wanted, but Steven's experience helped guide us to something we adore now. He helped source some very specific fruit trees and has a natural intuition on what kind of plants his clients would like. Over the course of the project, we were really impressed by Adrian and his team. The entire team was professional, respected the property, and worked so hard and efficiently. You can tell they really care about the quality of their work and we were blown away by their work ethic, their lighthearted attitude, and attention to detail and recommendations. We felt like we could really trust Steven, Adrian and the team, they aren't about trying to upsell you and went above and beyond to make sure the project turned out the best it can. It's the little things they do like rolling in our trash bins, helping us set up our planter boxes, installing the retractable hose for us, and hauling away our mound of cardboard in the garage from the sectional and furniture that make this company a gem, you won't regret choosing them! We've worked with many contractors over the years and they are our favorite so far, will definitely be using them again and highly recommend for anyone.

I cannot say how much we love our re landscaped backyard done by Vince's! The workmen do an amazing job! Steve knows which plants to order to make things look good! They made sure the sprinklers covered everything! They are a busy company so you may have to wait but it will be worth it!

I can't even begin to tell you how much of a pleasure it was working with Vince's Landscaping. I first had the privilege of speaking with Steve's wife (it was a short call and I wish I remembered her name). She was so sweet and listened to all of my concerns about our backyard and irrigation system. After speaking with her, she sent Steve out a few days later to evaluate our space. Our backyard needed leveling, brick, tree, root, and rock removal. We were also looking to install grass. Steve is a no BS kind of guy. He will be upfront with you and tell you what will work in your space and what will not. He's very thorough and wants you to have a functional and manageable yard. He will not waste your time. I appreciate how upfront he is. Then his team came out and did an incredible job. Our yard is absolutely beautiful. I feel like someone placed our house on a golf course. It was exactly what we needed and wanted for our family. Honestly, I can't even say enough about the guys doing all that hard labor. They were so considerate and nice. They always made sure to say hello every morning, they arrived at the house early and ready to slay the day (even in 100 degree weather). They were always smiling and genuinely seemed to enjoy what they were creating. They needed to use our crawl space and made sure to remove their shoes before coming inside the house (which I always appreciate). They even took in our trash bins which was a really sweet gesture. They want to take care of your home like it's their home. Also they have a lot of fun together and I love that. Anyway, our yard is spectacular and when we are ready to make over our front yard they will be the people we will call! I highly recommend this company. Thank you, thank you!

Although there was some wait time to get our project started because of how busy this company is, it was well worth the wait! Once they started the demolition of our old retaining wall/porch/stairway, the rest of the project moved along faster than I expected. We are so happy with the final design and quality of the work! These guys know what they're doing!

We hired Vince's Landscape to do our front yard in 2022. We were so impressed with Steven Martino and his crew that we hired them again to do the backyard last summer. Steven is a great communicator, knows his plants, has great ideas and his crew is very professional. Thank you Steven and team!

Vince's Landscaping is the best! We initially used Yardzen to come up with the landscaping designs and then hired Steve to implement the plans. Throughout the whole process, Steve was engaged, knowledgeable, and responsive. He showed us some of the flaws of the preliminary designs and gave us better ideas for what was realistic to implement considering our budget, terrain, and timeframe. Steve and his crew were amazing to work with - they showed up early, were detail-oriented, worked tirelessly in the hot sun, and were respectful and communicative every step of the way. Our backyard was transformed from an eyesore to an oasis that our whole family loves! Steve was so wonderful that we used his services again for our front yard renovation and it came out beautifully. I highly recommend Vince's for all your landscaping projects!

I am very happy. Quality work. Quality workers. Quality management. Great communication. After several other companies failed to follow through after a visit to my home to view my project... Vince and his team were on top of it and presented ideas and a quote within one week. They understood my vision. They offered me options that fit my budget. They met challenges head on... with good communication and good options. I'm thrilled with my backyard and with Vince's Landscaping.

It has been 2.5 years since the work was completed and the pavers installed continue to sink and move. Not enough compaction of the soil was done prior to laying the bricks. Also, the pavers as a whole have never been flat. I did not notice this until I saw another house with the same pavers. Mine look sloppy, uneven and rough with little dips in the corners or edges or the whole paver, all over the place. The pavers sank some over the French drain in some areas too. I wish had hired a paver specialist for my pavers, given that there were over 2,200 sf of pavers installed (about half the job was for the pavers). I think Vince's would have done better with a smaller amount of pavers. Vince's Landscaping did well on everything except the pavers. I like their watering controller too, which they installed. I attached a few photos as examples. There are hundreds of these throughout the layout.

Steve and Vince's Landscaping gave us our dream backyard! I couldn't be more impressed by how reliable, conscientious and timely Steve and his crew were. We took out an old wood deck and did grading in order to make the backyard all one level; a combination of pavers and grass with a gorgeous wood pergola with a sun shade and patio lights. He also planted citrus trees and various other plants that make the backyard pop! In a time when contractors are anything but reliable and who promise the world but then don't deliver it was so very refreshing to work with Steve at Vince's because I always knew I could get in touch with him about the project and I trusted that if something was going to cost more than what we agreed on there would be a discussion first. It was so easy working with Steve on the and I could not be happier with the results. We are so excited to have friends over to enjoy the gorgeous much more usable space! I only wish they did kitchens! :)

Vince's landscaping made our daunting project a breeze and we are absolutely thrilled with the results! They graded nearly a half acre, put in 2 retaining walls, irrigation, electrical, an entire deck, lawn, pavers, and a pergola in less than 4 months. Steve and his crew listened to what we wanted, made adjustments when I changed my mind, and communicated well and efficiently. They made some great suggestions too for making the yard useful and aesthetically pleasing. Their experience took the stress out of the equation and really made our yard transformation a fun and exciting experience. Best of all, they stuck to the budget. We paid not a cent over their quoted price. We've already recommended Vince's to others that have happily hired them too.

AMAZING JOB -- HIGHLY RECOMMEND!…read more We just had French drains installed by Lara's Concrete Inc. (925)246-0096, and I have to say -- they did an AMAZING job! This is a BIG project. Is it cheap? No. But neither is repairing a damaged foundation! They are very fair and reasonable for their pricing. Living in California, we all know the rain will eventually come, and when it does, you want that water moving AWAY from your home and foundation -- not toward it. I look at something like French drains as an investment in protecting your home. Spending the money now to properly control drainage can potentially save you from dealing with water intrusion, foundation issues, and thousands upon thousands of dollars in repairs down the road. The crew worked incredibly hard, the finished job looks fantastic, and I'm extremely happy with the end result. Protect your home. Protect your foundation. Do it right the first time. If you've been thinking about French drains or have drainage issues around your property, I absolutely recommend reaching out to Lara's Concrete Inc. from me! Bring on the rainy season -- this house is ready!

The entire project including permitting took just over a week. Absolutely professional from beginning to end.

Outstanding Craftsmanship & Customer Service…read more I can't say enough great things about David and the entire team at Kodiak Construction. They came out to do exposed aggregate concrete work at my home, and somehow managed to match my existing 20-year-old concrete almost perfectly. The finished work blends in beautifully, which I honestly didn't think would be possible given the age of the original concrete. What impressed me even more was their commitment to making sure I was completely satisfied. After part of the work had already been completed, I requested a change. Even though it meant additional work, David was incredibly accommodating. He came back, tore out a portion of the newly poured concrete and redid it for me -- at no additional charge. That level of customer service and commitment to making a customer happy is extremely rare these days. David was an absolute pleasure to work with from beginning to end. The entire crew was professional, courteous, hardworking, and extremely respectful of my home and property. Their attention to detail and quality of craftsmanship really showed in the finished product. I am genuinely grateful for the way David and his team handled the entire project. Excellent craftsmanship, exceptional customer service, and people who truly stand behind their work. I would recommend Kodiak Construction without hesitation. Thank you, David and team, for going above and beyond!

Thanks to David for a positive contractor experience! :)…read more He made sure we got the look we wanted for our new staircase and pathway, even making and dropping off samples to test out the colors and seals. It looks great, and his team were professional and friendly. Everything was on time and early. The work and materials are high quality to last a long time, worth the value. They didn't try to cut corners. He gave me instructions to water the concrete to prevent cracks and included a stabilizer, which is something previous contractors did not do (one of our other concrete pads cracked all over pretty soon after). We used a Sierra base color with a Desert Tan release color and a sealer that gave it the brown / tan finish I was looking for. I will definitely be using their services again!

The job, which entailed removing the original (lava rock.. yuck) fireplace, dry wall repair, and building out a new floor to ceiling stacked stone fireplace took 6 days, and since I work from home, I got to watch a true Master Mason at work. Jay, with his many years of experience, helped us to through the entire process, soup to nuts, so we could make informed decisions about what we wanted, and then he went about his business quickly and efficiently. I was really shocked at the speed of transformation. From 1975 to 2018 in 6 days! It was amazing to watch. Replacing a fireplace is inherently a messy business, and I was very impressed at the care Jay took to section off the work area, cover the floor and furniture, and make sure that everything was protected. When he was done, he took his time making sure to thoroughly clear the area, so we had only minimal cleanup. I found Jay to be exceptionally respectful of the space, which I really appreciated. Our experience with Browning Masonry was resoundingly positive. It's a small business that can really offer a personalized experience, and I cannot say enough about the beautiful result. I get a lot of comments on it. He had to build a bare bones brick fireplace to support the new product to overlay it with the stacked sandstone; and the arch just really makes it unique. He also had the foresight to ask me if I wanted him to cut into the underneath of the hearth to slip hard wood in the future when replacing my carpet. He mentioned that he had a piece of reclaimed wood, to use for the mantel, 2 1/2 in. thick. Today I found out how special it is because this wood thickness does not exist. These days, wood mantels are made into a box from different pieces and flipped over to attach on a fireplace. Thanks Jay; and I still love my fireplace after 11 years (and no cracks with all the earthquakes we are experiencing these days.)
