My son bought a truck from them, and not even three weeks later it started overheating and the check engine light came on. We went back to speak with them, hoping they would stand behind what they sold. Instead, the manager shrugged it off and said, "Sorry, you can take it to our mechanic -- they fix them for pretty cheap." That was their solution. No accountability. No offer to make it right. Just pushing us off to "their guy" to spend more money on a vehicle that should have never been sold in that condition. I bought a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon on 4/28/23. Today is 9/27/23. I am on my third week of not having a vehicle to drive. I had it for 5 whole months, putting only 2,000 miles on it. My commute to work is 5 blocks to and 5 blocks from. No opportunity to go drive like the Dukes of Hazzard. Needless to say I am very disappointed in my $43,409 purchase that I can't even drive now. Head gaskets are broken and water is leaking into oil. I called Vincent Motors and I'm told I bought and signed "as is". I hoped they would have offered to cover the repairs or at the very least pay deductible since I was smart enought to buy the extended warranty. I purchased a 2018 Ford f-150 XLT 5.0 from them in August of 2023. I was told before purchase that all the maintenance, new fluids, and such had been done, they lied... I got the truck with 65.5K miles or so on the truck. Right now there is 73k. About a month or so ago I changed the oil and when I tell you that the oil was as black as can be and thick. Just a couple of days ago I had to change the trans oil and that was also black as shit! When I took the trans gasket off there was rust and shit all around the edges. You can tell that gasket has been on there for years, never touched! This isn't even the worst part. There was metal all in the oil pan and the trans pan... like decent-sized chunks. The filter was filled with sludge. When I was cleaning around the transmission before I put the new gasket on and filter you could see on a gear component that there was a chunk of metal broken off. I don't drive like shit. I respect my vehicles when I get them cause I don't have the money to just run them into the ground. I love this truck I have always wanted a truck and this is what I got. If you get a vehicle from this company make sure you go get it checked by a mechanic to make sure you don't end up in this predicament. read more

Terrible! Boo! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH VINCENT MOTOR Co. They were dishonest, unscrupulous, and cheated me out of $3,080 by adding on a Service Agreement I was not told about, in which I was not allowed the chance to decline. The salesman just threw a bunch of papers at me, told me sign here, then quickly grabbed them away. When I needed to go back home to get some identification papers he refused to give me my truck keys back and gave me a truck with no gas. I had to leave their truck at my home, and borrow my mom's car to return. Underhanded treatment by crooks and charlatans. When I got back Salesman Steve did NOT go over any of the paperwork, and neglected to provide me with copies of much of what I signed. For instance, I did not get a copy of the big 3 page carbon multi-colored Retail Installment Contract. I called back the next day to try and get my truck back and give them their vehicle back but they told a big lie when they said "the paperwork had already been filed." After speaking with another car lot owner I called Vincent Motors and asked the manager Joe to cancel the add-on warranty contract over the phone then later in person the next day. He refused to do so on both occasions but finally gave me copies that the salesman Steve neglected to include in paperwork of signed documents. Finally, In order to get the add on $3,080 off my back I traded their truck to a more reputable dealer (4M Autoplex) down the street at a personal loss of $5,000.00. Well I hate to be a negative person. But went to Abilene with my son to look for a truck since he wrecked his. We made a huge mistake by trusting Michael Hoyt at Vincent Motors!!! He totally rushed the sale and mislead us that the truck my son wanted only had a issue tith the display unit. I guess we should have carried it to a body shop because the whole front end was brand new from being wrecked and probably totaled. It was a 2017 Chevorlet and after having it 5 days the transmission went out. We got the Sorry about your bad luck speech from him. Worst thing is he carried it to get unit looked at hrs before the transmission went out. When notified it got scooted under the rug. And yes I understand AS IS but it should have been disclosed at time of purchase. I DO NOT RECCOMEND MICHAEL HOYT. PLEASE BE CAREFUL WHEN BUYING FROM HIM We don't have the money to fix transmission at this time so it's been setting. I did a deal trading my Dodge truck for a small economical car mainly due the price of gas. They were friendly enough but when I went to pick up the car I had to wait as they had not detailed it yet. What they called detailing was a splash job and a halfway vacuum. I went to leave and the gas tank was completely empty in the red. They partially filled it up. I left them a truck with a full tank over 100.00 worth of gas. Two weeks later the A/C goes out. I had signed a form which said they would fix any problems that came up in the near future. I called them and they basically told me I was on my own. I had it repaired to the tune of 1,200.00 and two days on foot. These people smile nice but that's as deep as their sincerity goes They simply are sloppy and have no moral compass ethical parameters. Stay away from this place as though everyone there had covid. Bought a 2016 Yukon XL Denali. What started as a smooth buying process, has turned out to be a literal nightmare. After driving 4 hours to pick up the vehicle I was told "drives great, needs nothing". Once I drove off the lot with my vehicle, it was obviously shaking during driving. I chalked it up to older imbalanced tires. Less than 24 hours and 180 miles later it was identified the transmission is completely shot. Took it to GMC, who has now quoted us $10k for a new tranny. I have reached out every single day via phone and txt to my sales rep for going on 5 days, with ZERO response from the GM. The sales person has told me "our cars are sold as is". I will be reaching out to provide a demand letter, citing deceptive trade practices act due to lack of honest disclosure of the vehicles condition, as well as not upholding claims made on their website. A bunch of liars here at vincent motor company. Typical bait and switch technique dealership. I had been messaging one of the salesman for a few days about a vehicle I had been interested in. I drove 2 and a half hours to meet with him to see the vehicle and when I arrive, the salesman immediately asks if I was interested in another vehicle. I say no and he goes to his "boss" and asks him if he knew where it was. The "boss" says it had been sold but there was another one I could look at. The salesman said he had "no idea" the vehicle had been sold, which is extremely hard to believe in a dealership that only had 3 people working and maybe only 20 vehicles on the lot. It's obvious they've used this tactic before and have terrible acting skills, based on how this performance went. I would never recommend them to anyone! Please be aware of the type of people they are before stepping foot at this dealership. read more

On Friday, August 2nd, a customer purchased his 2nd vehicle from Vincent Motor Company. At the end of the business day, the owner of the dealership (Vince Coates) wanted a report of the vehicles sold that day. When Vince Coates learned of this deal, he was furious that the deal grossed "Only" $3,000.00 in profit. He was furious because he wanted a lot more gross profit on this particular vehicle. The customer, home from the oilfield, was on a short vacation to Schlitterbahn with his family in New Braunfels, TX when he was contacted by Vince Coates demanding the vehicle back. Financing for the vehicle was already approved and handled through Abilene Teachers Credit Union. The owner of the dealership had no right to take possession of the vehicle after the sale, but did so at 3am Saturday morning August 4th. He sent several threatening text messages to the customer in the process. The complaint here is of the actions of the dealership owner over his own personal greed and lack of respect for the customer. The Salesman lost his job defending his customer and the car deal. I had to trade the truck to another lot up the road for a loss of $5,000 in order to get out of the add-on expenses Vincent Motor Company put into the contract unbeknownst to me.
