Manny is highly professional and will only do work that he believes will last. When he came to bid…read moreon my cracked 30 year old driveway, he recommended rebar every foot and a half put together in a grid, and then a thicker pour, especially since we wanted exposed aggregate. Because we had drainage problems, he was very careful to check the grading as well as pre-plan where we want the water to drain. He worked with my landscaper to plan the drains, the slopes, and where to put the curbs. When it was time to start, his crew was on time and efficient. He got the demolition done in one day, and then we had the utilities mark the lines the next day after the chunks were gone. The drains were put in next and then the grading and tamping down, followed by forms and finally rebar. The day of the pour was exciting and Manny's crew got here early. We lost count of the number of men working, but all was well coordinated with the cement trucks (4) and the workers doing the pour and spreading. Finishing is extremely important and I'm happy that the concrete was sloped correctly. They even made smooth lips around the planters so that water drained away from the dirt [bordering garage], and instead followed the planned path to the large drain at the far end that was then tunneled underneath the fence to the back drainage system. The aggregate turned out beautiful and they put in many more scores than the previous driveway had. As you can see, they put a nice pattern to the scores so that it wasn't just boring squares. Cleanup was also perfect, as well as timeliness. Whatever date Manny gave me was the date they kept. My neighbor saw his work and decided to work with him too, and I did get referred to him by another neighbor.

Don, the owner, was a very nice and friendly guy. No pressure at all. He came out and gave us an assessment and reasonable options for repair. His company had reasonable pricing and lots of great options. He does the work himself on site with his staff which is awesome. They were very thorough in their exceptional craftsmanship. They power washed the driveway and then proceeded to grind off the old paint. Afterwards the vacuumed the dust on day 1. Then they primed the concrete, painted it on day 2/3 and sealed it on day 4. The high quality textured paint helped prevent slipping when walking it wet. It's built to last decades. Don gave me daily updates and he was very reliable. Great communication! It was a seamless and successful project. It exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend this company to paint or repair your driveways or any concrete surfaces.

I reached out to him over concerns with moisture buildup in the closed off cavity, and he knew exactly what to do with adding an external vent and capping the chimney. On inspection, he also noted that our 50 year old grout was starting to show its age, so he recommended regrouting the chimney to prevent cracks forming over time, but he wasn't pushy about the additional work. We had him do it, and he and his crew were able to work on it on the schedule we needed for a reasonable price. Will definitely hire him again anytime I need masonry services!

The owner, Nick, does not take any responsibility for the mistakes or actions of the crew he sends over. Francisco made lewd gestures and comments grabbing his crotch while talking about his Louie. I notified Nick and he warned me that I better be able to prove it. I wanted a patio that would keep water from running into my house. To compromise he suggested he patch the low spots. The color of patching does not match the patio. To raise the area around my door they added concrete that covers a good part of the threshold. I gave Nick a detailed description with schematics to place everything where it should be. The worst was the wall that they built which was nothing like the schematic showed or what the contract promises. He refuses to fix the wall because it would be a big job. The drainage system is not as it should be. Anytime something is brought to his attention there is a reason for doing it his way. He does not supervise. The guys he sends do not follow the plan. Probably because Nick is never around to guide them. Make sure you have cameras or else have someone there that you trust to watch the entire process

The crew showed up when they said they would, worked hard every day, and kept everything organized. Everything is clean, straight, and looks really well done. You can tell they care about the quality of their work instead of just trying to finish as fast as possible. The whole process was smooth from start to finish, and there were no surprises. It's hard to find contractors that are reliable these days, but these guys definitely were. I'd have no problem recommending Coastal Concrete to anyone looking to get concrete work done. Really happy with how everything turned out.

The finished product is genuinely a 10/10, the design, layout, attention to detail, and overall quality of the work exceeded our expectations. Ronnie met with me numerous times to walk through details, answer questions, make sure everything was exactly how we wanted it, and accommodate plenty of little changes along the way without ever making it feel like a burden. His communication and flexibility were incredible. His crew was equally impressive, professional, respectful, hardworking, and clearly takes a ton of pride in what they do. Ronnie also went above and beyond in ways he absolutely did not have to, including a very thoughtful gift for my wife and me at the end of the project.
