Our warranty company sent them, and the tech was very professional and courteous. After his evaluation he stated the whole system had to be replaced. He could fix it but it wouldn't last through the summer. Quote of $12000, minus a $3000 credit for old unit. We are in our 70s and had no air for 2 days and then it took them a week to get back to us. Fortunately we got a guy to come over and said that the capacitor needed to be replaced, which he did and charged us $79. I would have replaced the unit if he had fixed it and then sat down with me and went over it. Never looked in the attic, but said it probably has leaks up there. Companies need to hire technicians and different salesman. This is the second company in 4 years that sent a technician and wanted to replace the system. DON'T TRUST THEM! read more

These guys picked up a work order from my home warranty when one of our AC units stopped working. Before they even looked at the unit he said it was probably due to a storm, even though we didn't have any weather when it went out. During their attempt to get it running they clearly fried something because the condenser started to smoke and the thermostat died. They then reported to the warranty company that the unit stopped due to a power surge, so repair/replacement was not covered. We ended up hiring a different company to replace the condenser and they showed me how the thermostat had been fried and that the only way that could happen is if someone crossed some wires or something in the furnace. While I can't prove anything, I am convinced that Villa HS techs made our problem worse and then blamed it all on a mysterious power surge. I would not recommend this company. read more

Villa Home Services got sent by our home warranty company end of March. Claim got approved right away but the unit has still not been fixed by Villa Home Services. Our AC has been running non-stop for over two months and now stopped working completely. We get told that they will come in three days to fix the unit after initially the incorrect part was ordered and multiple appointments they did not show up without canceling any of the appointments. Dragging out this fix has now caused further damage of the AC unit. Unacceptable!! Supposingly Villa Home Services replaced the Control Board, which has an average life span of 10 YEARS. Villa AC was hired by 2-10 Home Warranty to fix the Evaporative cooler on my Daughter's house. I am part owner of the house and hold the Warranty. It took 5 days for them to arrive to evaluate the cooler and determine that it needed a new Cooler Motor. Another week to order a motor and schedule the install. When they installed the motor, they were leaving without checking to see if it worked when my Daughter advised the tech that it was not working on high. He simply stated that the fuse must be blown and to replace it or they could come back next week, When I went to replace the fuse, I discovered that they had done damage to the fuse box and the fuse would not screw in. I contacted the Warranty company and they insisted that Villa warranty their work. When they came back they verified that the fuse box needed to be replaced and ordered that as well as a new water pump. When they returned to replace the fuse box, they were on the roof for about an hour and then left. The motor was working now but blowing hot air. Upon inspection we discovered that the electrical line that was supposed to connect to the water pump was removed and sitting on top of the cooler along with several panel screws. In addition, the bolts that were used to mount the motor were all loose and one was installed incorrectly cocked into the hole and sticking halfway out. The pump they had purchased was approximately 3 times bigger than prescribed and was for an industrial size cooler. It would have flooded the pads and sprayed water all over the new motor, if it had even been installed which it was not. The wiring and water lines were also left loose enough and in a place that the fan could suck them in and damage the fan and lines. In addition, the wiring for the fuse box that had been installed was done incorrectly and there was no power to the water pump outlet. It took six weeks to complete a job that was never done correctly and should have been a one day job. read more

Sales representatives came be friends you gets you to sign with lies. I paid $11,000 plus for a new air conditioning system that was supposed to be energy efficient & save me money. The unit was put on in 6 hours, the unit outside wasn't leveled nor was it put on the slab right. The Air Conditioning unit it self makes a lot of noise when it's on,the unit inside as well as the part outside. The house doesn't cool evenly which was one of my first questions . He promised to make sure it worked correctly. My electric bill went up monthly way over a $100 compared to last year. I have way over a gallon of water leaking daily. My unit is set at 72 degrees but doesn't cool my house as expected. My old unit worked better but was leaking & the coil was clogged. The representative promised also to make sure my vents blew evenly & to return to make sure. They never returned not even a call. I went with a small company to help our small businesses out but at the end you just get screwed over. They gave me no guarantee nor any paperwork. The heat system was not coming on right after Christmas and then two days later it was working. After a week went by it was not coming on, so I called my warranty company and they put in a work order. The next day Louis showed up from Villas home services, would'nt you know the heater came on just before Louis rang the doorbell. Louis went on the roof, checked the system and came back down and said he could not find a problem. We discussed our options with Louis. Knowing that the system is working intermittenly and was 18 years old, we knew it was time to replace it. Louis presented the different price packages and we found one we liked. He said he would be back the next day and install the new system. True to his word, he and the crew were here on time and the system was in place. We highly recommed Villas Home Services. Terrible company! I would have requested a different company come out for my home warranty if I didn't already invest with the first $100 for the service call. The owner set a time frame and didn't show. I called and he said he was on his way to another call and would be over after it! I asked him how long that would be and he said he was going to Winkelman!! That's an hour and a half from my house. I had to reschedule and blocked off the following Wed from 7-11. I get a call Tuesday morning saying he was on his way.... I told him we booked for Wednesday! Wednesday comes. I missed school that morning because he was suppose to show up between 7-11. He didn't show until 1150! He did his inspection and then had to call another tech for a second opinion! The owner.. When he was done he sat at the table and tried to upsell me. Telling me there would be a deductible. Which isn't a thing for my home warranty. I told him I just want fixed what is broken. I get the notice from my warranty company that they've approved the fix. There's a $400 deductible for things not covered under the warranty. Warranty company said they didn't have a breakdown of what it was exactly wasn't going to be covered. Owner said it was for "labor". Labor is fully covered. Then he went around and around in circles with myself and my husband for what that $400 was for. I requested a breakdown and still haven't received it. He is a scammer! My items were under manufacture warranty as well. Guess what? He's gonna turn that into the manufacturer and get the money for that as well! He also told myself and my husband that the warranty company doesn't pay them to do the calls and the $400 is how they make their money. NO! It's how you scam your customers to give you extra money! The tech called today 6/13 to come fix the unit. No appointment was made prior! Called while I was at the gym! I had to cancel 2 appointments and school today because of it! Don't ever use this company! They will make up erroneous charges to get more money out of a desperate customer who just needs to get their A/C fixed. Stay clear! To start off I gave him a 1 star because I couldn't go any lower. Be careful, be very, very careful. I have had two encounters with Luis, one was with my Master cool two years ago. He installed it with the help of my homeowner's insurance and told me when he was done, that for the next five years I don't have to worry about getting on the roof, that the company will come out twice a year to service the Master cool. Later that year I called to make an appointment to have it serviced for the winter, I was told it would be a $85.00 service fee, I tried to explain that is not what I was told. After considering that my insurance would charge $85.00 for a service call, I set the appointment. I was told that my target time would be from 7-11am. Day of the appointment I had to call the office at 12:30PM to cancel my appointment as I had not received a call from the technician on his expected time of arrival. Fast forward to 2024, I had a claim for my AC unit it was running but I wasn't getting any cool air. Luis came over to check it out and found out what the problem was, unfortunately he didn't have the part, but he did tell me where I could buy the part and showed me how to install it properly for waiving the service fee. We started talking about how old the unit was and that there are more economical units on the market now, he said he could get me one for about $4800.00 after the $3000.00 insurance payment. I told him I would have to think about it because I had to pay $13000.00 for my wife's funeral in June. I went to go buy the part and installed as per his instructions, and all was good. Luis had told me that if I changed my mind with in 30 days to let him know and he would get with the insurance and get me a new unit. I called him the day after Labor Day and told him to go ahead and contact the insurance to get the ball rolling. He said he had to come out to the house to take a look at the unit I had. He came out took a look at the unit and I was concerned about the copper pipe that runs from the AC unit to the furnace and the bilge pump drain line. He asked me to get up on the roof (not my favorite thing to do) to show him what I was talking about. I wanted a PVC pipe for the drain to keep the water from running down my roof. We came down of the roof and came inside and he told me that replacing the copper pipe and installing the PVC pipe would be$980.00 but if I paid cash he would drop it down to $880.00 I paid him $800.00 and told him when the installers come I would give him the rest. He asked me my email address so he could send the receipt, I told him the next day I had not received the receipt he said he would look into it, to this day I have not seen a receipt. Luis has never come by to see if the job he quoted me was done right, it was not as the PVC drainage pipe was not installed so now 70-year-old 100% disabled Veteran has to get up on the roof so I can run a drainage line for the bilge pump. Oh by the way he never contacted the insurance to have the unit replaced so it going to cost me $9800.00 a far cry from $4800.00. I think my next call will be to the BBB as the copper line is part of the install (I found out later from a REAL professional). read more

Work Performed (replace our HVAC system) My experience with Villas Home Services was very good. They were quick to come to our house and give us an estimate. They gave use a few options and a very reasonable price on a name brand unit. A few days later we had the unit installed. Everyone from the owner to the installers were very friendly and polite and in my opinion did a great job of installing the new unit. They cleaned up and removed all the old parts and had the new one running the same Day. We are very happy with the work the did. I would recommend them to my friends and neighbor. read more
