Years ago I called Arizona Electric to upgrade the wiring in my Tucson home so I could put in an electrical stovetop when remodeling the kitchen of my house on E. Alta Vista that was built in 1967. He also replaced a couple of burned out electrical outlets. John was busy and we had to wait a couple days but he was worth the wait! These guys are very service oriented and know what they are doing. I learned the hard way after having a bad experience with a supposed licensed contractor from Craigslist. Arizona Electric is professional! I will always go back to them if in need of future work! John - at one point - had recommended the owners brother to do some interior work and he spilled varnish all over the garage floor. I was very unhappy with that recommendation and paid the guy he sent less money because of the damage from the varnish that could not be removed. John is such a kind guy he went ahead and paid the brother of the owner the rest of the invoice even though as a subcontractor he did not deserve it. I respect that he works to do good by everyone. And he certainly is a knowledgeable electrician! You pay more but you get more! Call them. read more

Early on one of the hottest days of the year, an emergency situation external to our property and caused by city construction left us without electricity. This company was able to respond fast, and they get 3 stars for fixing *most* of it fast. But I hired them to fix all of it, and I paid them over $2.5K for the half day of work. While they were here, when I went out to see what was happening, no one would talk much to me. I'm a woman homeowner and I've found that some companies have workers who talk to me as the intelligent human who hired them, and some haven't figured out how to do that. This company belongs to be the latter category. (No women were on their work team unless you count the receptionist, unsurprisingly.) After they left some of the lights still weren't (and still aren't) working. I left a polite phone message asking for them to come check it out, and quickly got an email - not a phone call - in reply. The email said they will not come back even to look at it without charging me for $125/hour and they won't look at anything until I've paid them in full. (That little threat was sent to me less than 72 hours after this emergency occurred.) They seemed to have a close relationship with TEP, our utility, and it felt very much like working with a utility - not a great deal of customer power or choice. read more

First - the crew that came was pretty great. But the business owner Will was very poor in his conduct. Abrupt, scowling attitude at inspections, doesn't handle questions well - short, perfunctory responses to emails - discussed specific work in person at inspection, then it's not on work order, technicians drive extra ground rods in when there's clearly an old one outside that they admitted could've been used instead of paying for new ones - but they claim not to have seen it, although it's a foot away from the one they installed - when Will is questioned about specific work discussed in an effort to add it to work order, abruptly CANCELS ENTIRE JOB VIA EMAIL rather than call to discuss. I had 2 light fixtures flickering and had another company come out and couldn't figure out what the problem was. This company responded the next day and both were fixed quickly. The rep was very professional and knowledgeable. i would highly recommend! read more

Arizona Electrical Solutions is a professional, no nonsense company with straightforward pricing and no surprises. I have used them for everything from installing new panels on my house and workshop, beautiful outdoor courtyard lighting, basketball court lighting, a light for my clothesline and electric pool timers. That is just the outside. Inside, I have had them do a fan and they have moved and created new outlets. One time, the owner (Will), even came over from a holiday party, all dressed up, to install an RV hook up, on an emergency basis, when I had a relative show up unexpectedly. In addition to work on my residence, I happen to own a landscaping company and use them professionally as well. They have handled outdoor lighting problems, and hard wiring for irrigation systems, etc. The personnel who show up on time to do the work are courteous, knowledgeable, and prepared to do the job. They have all the equipment they need because the planning stages were executed perfectly. Even if some unforeseen thing comes up, they usually will have the parts needed right on their truck. I called Arizona electrical Solutions for an estimate for a new electrical dryer outlet. I had a gas dryer and wanted to upgrade to electrical one to be run off my new solar system. Pat Robinson came out with in a few days as we scheduled. They installed the line from my electrical panel. They had to cut quite a bit of drywall due to the way my house was framed. They were able to recommend a great company for repair work though.. The project was done quickly and they did a great job with the clean up. read more

We called them to run some wire and install a ceiling fan. The crew arrived early the following week, accomplished the work quickly and cleaned up their mess. The work was done within the estimated price. We decided to add wiring for a second fan, for which we were charged the same price as for the original, although the extra work was unanticipated. Will even assembled the second fan at no charge. We could not have been more pleased with their accommodation, patience and professionalism. They will be our first call if we should ever need an electrician. read more

I was visiting my son in Tucson for 3 days and we had a huge list of projects to do on his recent home purchase, one of which was providing an outlet and switch for a dishwasher and garbage disposal. I called 3 electricians to get a quote and a time frame of when work could be done. One company wanted to charge $85.00 to come out and inspect, one company never returned my call, but Will at Arizona Electrical not only contacted me quickly, but set up a free inspection the same day, provided a written quote by the end of the day, and then got his crew scheduled the following morning. The work was done quickly, professionally, they cleaned up after themselves and the final price was exactly as expected! I was constantly informed of my technicians name, expected time of arrival,etc through text messages so it made it very easy to continue to make the multitudes of runs to Home Depot for the other "honey do" list of chores and not worry about missing my technicians arrival.
