We reached out to Villara as a recommendation from our builder. We paid 207.00 for a house call. Josh left our home and contacted the manufacturer and ordered the needed part. He emailed us 3 quotes. We decided as recommended by the builder to shop around as the prices were quite inflated. We found another company and when they went to order the part, from the manufacturer, we learned Villara had already ordered the part. At this point we are without hot water. We have been on a goose chase for Villara to release this warranties part which they ordered unauthorized without our consent. I have been sent from one person to another over the past week to get this part. Last person I spoke to is Landon a supervisor who indicated he will get this part to us but emphasized that he needs the defective part back ( even though they are not doing the work) This is fine I suppose, but now I haven't heard from Landon on an ETA for this part to get my repair done today. We have 3 children in the home and have been without hot water while on this goose chase. This company is unethical. Please avoid this experience. read more

I don't recommend this company for new construction houses. I installed my electrical box switches where the electrical plan had shown but Villara plumber workers ripped off all of my electrical boxes where it was in their "way". That is highly unprofessional, rude, and selfish for a company to make another trades work harder. I have an annual check up on our heating and cooling system. Rogelio and Renato came out today to inspect the units and discovered a faulty valve in the AC had created a slow leak in the fluid. Our heating system shut down on a recent Friday with a cold weekend ahead of us. Daniel S. and his associate arrived and stayed into the early evening hours until their work in the attic was complete including the re-engineering and repair of a heating drain system. Daniel was obviously experienced and knowledgeable, a number of issues were diagnosed and he was thorough in his explanation. While it was a new 3 zone heating and air conditioning system, since his repair, the system has never operated better. Villara has installed HVAC on my new home. The system was installed incorrectly. I have two units the 3 ton was installed on 5 ton condenser and 5 ton on 3 ton. When running the 5 ton unit to cool off the house has to run non stop 24 hrs and would not cool off the house. After several follow ups an advance tech finally showed up and realize the system was installed originally wrong. When I followed up with their corp office for cost out of pocket all they offer is to cover warranty on unit only if goes down. as to reimburse $$$ for out of pocket they refused. When I said then have to deal with this legally. They flag my address and refuse to make any repairs on a system they installed and still under warranty. read more

2 Stars for the installation - We have a new construction house which had Villara installed the HVAC system. The furnace was not connected when we first move in. The exhaust fan unit fell out (it was not installed correctly and not even screwed. This fan unit is about 2lb metal and directly above the toilet. My family could get really hurt badly). The compressor unit outside of the house was making loud noises due to loose screw/panel, etc. You get my point. Whoever installed the system did it with a rush at the end and did not validate end-to-end functionality properly. 5 Stars for the follow-up technician - Juan C. was sent to us on 09/01/2021. He quickly diagnosed all the issues and resolved all of them with a swift. He answered all my questions and concerns about HVAC system install, and also provided some tips on using the system in our house more efficiently. He was professional and friendly. Very quick and reliable service, I've had them visit me twice now since purchasing my home. They came out the same day I called and saved me from a brutal heatwave! Most recently, service tech Mustafa Nawrooz repaired my AC unit that was not cooling. He did a great job at explaining everything he was doing and why it was important to keep up with the maintenance on my system. As a new homeowner, I really appreciated this, because it's easy to disregard these things (especially on a new build, mine is only two years old). We received an error alert on our damper display and called to have it looked at. Aurelio came by and was able to identify the issue and fix right away. I requested an AC/Heating diagnostics and had some work completed on my home unit. I had been having some problems with my unit for years, and no one could figure it out. Well, I'm overjoyed that I called Villara. I'm even happier that they sent out their best, brightest, and most professional technicians-Ryan, Landon, and Elisiar. I had little hope of success at first, but these three came in, showed me a price list of all services, and ensured I would not be over-charged for anything. They were cautious in my home and showed their in-depth checklist of what they would do. I was put at ease from the word go, and when they finished, my system was working like new and had stopped shutting off after 7-8 minutes, as it had been for the last four years. Thank goodness I don't have to be cold at night anymore in the winter and hot during the day during the summer. Villara is the only AC/Heating company I'll ever use, and you should too. When I bought my new home, they were the one who installed my new A/C system .. I tried contacting them about warranties to fix my A/C who's Temperature return from the grill is about 10 Degrees, not 15-20 required..MY A/C tech stated that it could be the lack of freon from Villara, was no signs of Leaks and etc ...A/C tech told me to contact the builder which I did, told me to contact Villara and no response from them. My next new home, I would try to find out if Villara installed the A/C system and not buy it if they did and I am pretty sure 100% sure I ain't buying a new or old Lennar home again. Villara installed system has been a problem for this community and seems like everyone has problems year in and year out, I won't be surprised if the work they did is not up to code! we purchased a 2021 residential property built by Lennar in Elk Grove last March 2024. we started using the AC on the 2nd week of June. We notice that something wrong with our condenser. The thermostat is on but the AC is not running and sometimes the thermostat is off but AC is running and the condenser fan is on and off and very noisy. I asked a friend who has a HVAC business to check the unit. He found out the yellow wire is not connected in the furnace and the furnace cover is not properly screwed because of the missing nuts and used only an aluminum tape. I contacted the builder and referred the VIllara as the original installer. Their technician came and inspected the unit a loose bolt in the condenser fan caused the noise and the compressor is already damaged and not producing cool air. The yellow wire supposedly use for the condenser is cut somewhere in the middle of the wall. To run the unit the green wire used for both fan and condenser. I google online that wrong electrical wiring caused the compressor to damaged and burn out. They void the warranty because according to them they did not received complains and the electrical wiring and furnace cover might be the fault of the original owner. They are charging $5,533 for the labor installation of new compressor plus the rewiring. I contacted a lawyer and advised me to go to Small Claim Court in Sacramento County. read more

So last week, in the middle of the the terrible heat wave, I noticed a warning on our smart vent controller. I called to make an appointment with Vallara since they installed the systems. The young lady that helped me make my appointment walked me through a couple things to try just on the off chance it was something simple (like needing a reset). Of course it was not, so she sends me JR. JR came in and went to town doing what he does best. He asked me question regarding what the issue was and went right to work fixing said problem. He was patient when I asked him questions regarding the unit. He reminded me to change my filters regularly and informed me of a great warranty service they provid for units the company has installed. I am so glad I called Vallera and will call them again. Our AC quit providing cool air to our house during the hottest time of the year in Lincoln, CA. We called Villara the next morning but got the answering service. They took a message and said that I would receive a return call from Villara Building Services. I was very pleased that I got a call-back within two hours and was scheduled a repair technician within 48 hours. The day of service Ryan and Mustafa was very prompt and even arrived earlier than the scheduled time. They were very courteous and even brought booties to enter the house which made my wife very happy! Ryan and Mustafa were very professional and efficient in diagnosing the problem. They explained clearly the HVAC cooling cycle. The unit's capacitor stopped working. They also recommended installing a kick starter to alleviate stresses on the unit. They installed the parts and washed the unit within a couple of hours. The cost for the repairs was fair and reasonable. The unit is now working and cooling the house!
