This company is the best! Both my tenant and I are Raving Fans. Called for service on Friday and despite the heat (100 degrees), a service tech got out that same afternoon. Diagnosis was not what I wanted to hear - a bad capacitor and fan motor. HVAC unit is 36 years old (circa 1989) and A+ Heating and Air recommended a new unit and to stop chasing good money after bad. Fast forward to today, Wednesday, only five days after initial service call. New unit installed, five hours start to finish, tenant happy, very clean, friendly, efficient AND at a great and fair price. This company installed a new HVAC system 6 years ago when I moved into my home and has done an excellent job inspecting and keeping it running smoothly since then. The discount contracts were helpful when I needed help with the NEST thermostat ( not installed by them) and other small issues. Today was yet another maintenance call with Austin. He was running late due to another complicated job earlier. He offered to reschedule as he gave me updates with the delay, but I wanted to have the job done today which he had offered to do even if it meant arriving in the evening on a Friday night. Before he left, he asked me if I had any questions and was concerned about my health and safety when he noticed my N95 mask. Without my asking, he offered to keep me safe and wear a mask at the next maintenance. NO other service person or contractor has ever made that gesture! The company has ALWAYS been very good in educating me about any issues and pleasant to work with. Katie is prompt with scheduling and communication. My air conditioner sprung a leak in the attic which caused part of the ceiling in a bedroom to collapse. A+ sent Paul and Denys to fix and repair the leak. They did a complete and thorough repair and my air conditioner is back to normal with no leaks. Paul suggested a return visit to insure that no water is leaking in the attic. Kirill came highly recommended by a premier local builder Ken Dyer and a childhood friend from 5 years old who is a commercial real estate agent by day & Sac Sheriff by night... 15 years ago I had Seco Heat & A/C from Rocklin install a top of top of line Trane Heat A/C unit. The two workers they sent did a horrible job (couple of Tweakers) and the main unit wasn't sealed or was any of the under the house ducting. This was revealed to me by one of Krill's workers named Denis. Denis is a young guy from Ukraine whose attitude is 10/10. His English is not great but his willingness to understand and communicate clearly makes up for it and then some !! So Denis crawled under my home in a very dusty very tight space and spent several hours sealing the ducts and insulating them showing me photos of the work so I knew it was done properly. I asked Denis to do me a favor and drill a hole up into my kitchen so I could run an electric trip wire. I offered him $100. He did the job and then refused to accept the $100 because he couldn't guarantee that the wire was live. I told him that wasn't part of the deal and handed him the $100. How honest is Denis ?? Then he offered to clean up the job site which was dirty because the space was so dusty. I was so impressed with his work I told him that I'd clean it up so he could go home. Denis...welcome to America, you're The Man !! Paul and Timur installed the unit and same thing. They took their time and did the job right the first time. They were seasoned professionals. 15 years I had been wasting my money cooling and heating the space under my home. No wonder the unit never seemed to work. It all starts with the top, or Kirill. Our AC went out the morning of a 112 degree day. We have a four month old and spent the entire day calling around the HVAC companies to try to get an emergency appointment with no luck, everyone was booked out two weeks. This was during a 100+ degree heat wave and he was able to come out the next day and not only check out the system but resolve the problem on the spot. We discussed replacing the current 20 year old system, but he recommended that we wait as the current system would continue to function for at least another year or so. I am always uncomfortable with big projects like replacing my A/C and heater after 20 years. I got 5 bids and was not impressed with most of them. I choose A+Heating and Air since the representative was pretty straight forward without the sales-rush. I received a detailed quote, all the follow-up I needed and a clean install. I was barely going to make the SMUD recent announcement of terminating the $1,500 rebate due to my late start and did not know SMUD was terminating the rebates on May 29, 2020. But A+ made the install with professionalism and it worked great a week later when we got into 100 degree weather. Katie, from their office was also great handling all the paperwork and meeting SMUD cutoff date on rebates. After going through all those bids, tons of information, promises and prices, A+ deserve top spot and the 5 Star rating in all categories. I look forward to them coming back in one year to see how it is all going. I will probably buy them a cup of coffee while we listen to the hum of the machinery when I see them. read more

Hello all. We just had a new HVAC system installed and it's amazing! 3 men worked on the installation. We have a single story 1,823 sq. ft. house. We got 4 bids for a new system. Kirill's bid included putting the furnace in the attic, all new R-8 flex ducts, 3 returns and 3 more vents, and his bid was lower than anyone else's, which were just for a new furnace in the same closet as the old one, and an AC unit. They all said the furnace in the attic is a bad idea and the solid pipe ducts are fine. After a lot of research, it seemed quite clear an attic furnace is the way to go-better air circulation and MUCH quieter. Our previous furnace was so load we had to turn up the TV when the air or AC turned on. Now it's whisper quiet! We got a SMUD loan and $3,500 in PG+E and SMUD rebates (which Kirill took off the price we paid). Yesterday the install was completed. It was 102 out and we had to turn the AC off it was too cold! And the temperature is the same in every room, used to be hotter in some more than others. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMNENDED! read more

When no one showed up I called that they made a mistake and the appointment was for the next day. With the temperature expected to be around 109 and no ac I was desperate.
