I had to have our A/C replaced after babying it for 22 years. We replaced it with a heat pump. Their service was excellent. The crew was efficient and respectful of my house, covering the floors. They replaced our thermostats with a blue tooth, LED device. Easy to regulate the temp. One of our bedrooms is now getting cooler which wasn't happening with previous system (even when it was new). The cost was competitive and I felt it was fair. I recommend them! read more

It's rare I write more than 1 review for a company but it dawned on me today after a basic service call for a thermostat install why I've been a loyal client of A Plus Heating & Air for over 5 years. The company has too many strengths to count, but I was reminded today when a new technician for A Plus Heating & Air was assigned to install my thermostat. He was professional, knowledgeable, thorough, a pure gentleman, who couldn't have been a better Ambassador for the company, which I informed Katie of after my service. This Company, led by Kiril the owner, has carefully cultivated a 1st Class group of front line service technicians, which me & my family have benefited from. Thanks again A Plus! I have trusted Kirill and the team at A Plus Heating and Air for over 10 years, and they remain my absolute #1 choice for all residential and commercial HVAC needs. In 2015, we purchased a massive 50,000 sq. ft. commercial building equipped with nine heat pumps that were over 25 years old. Most of them were completely dead or barely running. A Plus came up with incredibly creative solutions to safely extend their lifespans until we were ready for a full replacement. When we finally gathered multiple bids to replace all nine units, A Plus was still the most efficient, strategic, and affordable choice by far.Whether it is a complex commercial project, an issue at one of my rental properties, or a quick fix at my personal home, Kirill and his team are always proactive, fast, and reliable. We recently hired them again to add a new unit for our business, and they once again delivered a flawless installation with excellent pricing. Save yourself the time of searching around--I highly recommend them! read more

100% better than our prior service group. Kept their appointment and service tech was very detailed in explaining our situation with AC condenser. Using them for ongoing maintenance. read more

This company is the best! Both my tenant and I are Raving Fans. Called for service on Friday and despite the heat (100 degrees), a service tech got out that same afternoon. Diagnosis was not what I wanted to hear - a bad capacitor and fan motor. HVAC unit is 36 years old (circa 1989) and A+ Heating and Air recommended a new unit and to stop chasing good money after bad. Fast forward to today, Wednesday, only five days after initial service call. New unit installed, five hours start to finish, tenant happy, very clean, friendly, efficient AND at a great and fair price. This is the fifth or sixth time i have used this company and each experience just as great as the last. Thank you! read more

This company installed a new HVAC system 6 years ago when I moved into my home and has done an excellent job inspecting and keeping it running smoothly since then. The discount contracts were helpful when I needed help with the NEST thermostat ( not installed by them) and other small issues. Today was yet another maintenance call with Austin. He was running late due to another complicated job earlier. He offered to reschedule as he gave me updates with the delay, but I wanted to have the job done today which he had offered to do even if it meant arriving in the evening on a Friday night. Before he left, he asked me if I had any questions and was concerned about my health and safety when he noticed my N95 mask. Without my asking, he offered to keep me safe and wear a mask at the next maintenance. NO other service person or contractor has ever made that gesture! The company has ALWAYS been very good in educating me about any issues and pleasant to work with. Katie is prompt with scheduling and communication. THIS is why I believe they deserve the "A+" rating in my opinion. It's not just the name of the company. read more

I scheduled a service appointment and they came out the same day. Austin was my technician and he was great. The service was excellent and the customer service was just as good. They did a fantastic job! read more

This is a wonderful company! From the quote and throughout the full day of installation their crew was responsive, knowledgeable and professional. Serge answered all of my questions prior to making my decision and their crew was able to install the new system in one day. The entire crew was incredible but Nick was especially good about cleaning everything up and answering all of my questions throughout the day. Vitaly installed my thermostat and walked me through how to set up my new thermostat on my phone. Finally, the office staff set up my rebates and took the rebates off of the invoice price so that I didn't have to wait to get the rebates from SMUD. Thanks for everything, you truly live up to your name! read more

Kirill came highly recommended by a premier local builder Ken Dyer and a childhood friend from 5 years old who is a commercial real estate agent by day & Sac Sheriff by night... 15 years ago I had Seco Heat & A/C from Rocklin install a top of top of line Trane Heat A/C unit. The two workers they sent did a horrible job (couple of Tweakers) and the main unit wasn't sealed or was any of the under the house ducting. This was revealed to me by one of Krill's workers named Denis. Denis is a young guy from Ukraine whose attitude is 10/10. His English is not great but his willingness to understand and communicate clearly makes up for it and then some !! So Denis crawled under my home in a very dusty very tight space and spent several hours sealing the ducts and insulating them showing me photos of the work so I knew it was done properly. I asked Denis to do me a favor and drill a hole up into my kitchen so I could run an electric trip wire. I offered him $100. He did the job and then refused to accept the $100 because he couldn't guarantee that the wire was live. I told him that wasn't part of the deal and handed him the $100. How honest is Denis ?? Then he offered to clean up the job site which was dirty because the space was so dusty. I was so impressed with his work I told him that I'd clean it up so he could go home. Denis...welcome to America, you're The Man !! Paul and Timur installed the unit and same thing. They took their time and did the job right the first time. They were seasoned professionals. 15 years I had been wasting my money cooling and heating the space under my home. No wonder the unit never seemed to work. It all starts with the top, or Kirill. So impressed. Kirill has an easy & affable way about him. He gave me three options and made everything clear. He get's it done !! He get's it done right. He get's it done with a smile. I couldn't wait to pay him. How often can you say that? 10/10 all the way around. Thank you Kirill. Bill read more

My air conditioner sprung a leak in the attic which caused part of the ceiling in a bedroom to collapse. A+ sent Paul and Denys to fix and repair the leak. They did a complete and thorough repair and my air conditioner is back to normal with no leaks. Paul suggested a return visit to insure that no water is leaking in the attic. I had a 2 ton central air conditioner replaced by A + Heating and air. The quote was painless. Serge came to the home looked at the job and worked to quote me a package that fit my needs and budget. Serge always was available to answer my questions. The team was able to install my AC the day after I gave them the go ahead. 8:00 a.m the guys were there and the install was very smooth. Crane removed old unit from roof and lifted new efficient package in place. The team had it installed, tested and left space tidy. Job was completed by 2:00 and was able to enjoy a cool home with my new Carrier AC within my budget. Office was great at communicating from quote through payment. read more

These guys have been very professional, communicative, and prompt each time we have used them..... Which has been several times in the past few years trying to make our system last just a bit longer. Alas, it died and they installed a new system today (3/05/24), just 2 days after I first called them. Again, they were here early, explained it all, taught me how the thermostat works, and were very friendly and professional. They also cleaned up all their debris. I would highly recommend them for all your heating and air issues! read more

Our AC went out the morning of a 112 degree day. We have a four month old and spent the entire day calling around the HVAC companies to try to get an emergency appointment with no luck, everyone was booked out two weeks. I finally called A+ and not only did they have a friendly local receptionist pick up the phone at 8 PM, they had our technician Vitaly out within 45 minutes and the problem solved within the hour (capacitor went bad). He was a true hero. Incredible customer service at a fair price, I'll be using them for all of my HVAC needs moving forward. We are very grateful to them. read more

Kiril was recommended to me to service my AC unit. This was during a 100+ degree heat wave and he was able to come out the next day and not only check out the system but resolve the problem on the spot. We discussed replacing the current 20 year old system, but he recommended that we wait as the current system would continue to function for at least another year or so. He was quick to respond, knowledgeable, experienced, and at a fair price...with no underlying sales pressure, just a good firm recommendation as to what to do when, but not before really needed. When the time does come, he will be the one replacing my system. read more

I am always uncomfortable with big projects like replacing my A/C and heater after 20 years. I got 5 bids and was not impressed with most of them. I choose A+Heating and Air since the representative was pretty straight forward without the sales-rush. I received a detailed quote, all the follow-up I needed and a clean install. I was barely going to make the SMUD recent announcement of terminating the $1,500 rebate due to my late start and did not know SMUD was terminating the rebates on May 29, 2020. But A+ made the install with professionalism and it worked great a week later when we got into 100 degree weather. Katie, from their office was also great handling all the paperwork and meeting SMUD cutoff date on rebates. After going through all those bids, tons of information, promises and prices, A+ deserve top spot and the 5 Star rating in all categories. I look forward to them coming back in one year to see how it is all going. I will probably buy them a cup of coffee while we listen to the hum of the machinery when I see them. read more

Theses guys are absolute professionals, best of the best I would recommend them to anyone looking for quality hvac installations!

Hello all. We just had a new HVAC system installed and it's amazing! 3 men worked on the installation. We have a single story 1,823 sq. ft. house. We got 4 bids for a new system. Kirill's bid included putting the furnace in the attic, all new R-8 flex ducts, 3 returns and 3 more vents, and his bid was lower than anyone else's, which were just for a new furnace in the same closet as the old one, and an AC unit. They all said the furnace in the attic is a bad idea and the solid pipe ducts are fine. After a lot of research, it seemed quite clear an attic furnace is the way to go-better air circulation and MUCH quieter. Our previous furnace was so load we had to turn up the TV when the air or AC turned on. Now it's whisper quiet! We got a SMUD loan and $3,500 in PG+E and SMUD rebates (which Kirill took off the price we paid). Yesterday the install was completed. It was 102 out and we had to turn the AC off it was too cold! And the temperature is the same in every room, used to be hotter in some more than others. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMNENDED! read more
