It soon became evident that one of the wall heads was not working properly. Over the course of four months, at no additional charge, Fox sent out representatives six times, recharged the unit, checked for leaks and filed a warranty claim with Mitsubishi. Eventually, they replaced both that wall head and the outdoor unit, not with similar replacements, but with higher grade, more robust units. To ensure total satisfaction, they also replace the piping between the head and the outdoor unit, at no charge. It now works beautifully. What awesome service! My thanks to Colin, Alex, Jon, Jay, Danny and all the others who helped.

Note: I've posted this same review on Google Reviews…read more American Energy was one of three companies who priced my project. I met with the owner Mathew McGuire, who I found to be friendly, sincere, and someone who is vested in his business, his people, and working to ensure that he wins life-long customers with every job. I had done a lot of research with AI, so I knew my options well (that research was very helpful and I'd highly recommend doing it in advance of having people out to give you pricing). I had no intention of beating up each of the companies, I simply asked for their best pricing and options. I used AI to carefully review each bid in detail, including the proposed equipment and how appropriate it was for our home. All companies gave solid bids, but there was a very large spread between the highest and lowest. That usually concerns me, but all my research about American Energy indicated that they were a solid, competitive company. It was a big investment, but I ended up converting to an electric heat pump and also getting all our ducting replaced. We have a 2750 sf single-story home with 17 vents, so the new ducting was nearly as much as the system itself. That said, the ducting has made so much difference in terms of balancing the temperature throughout the house, which was a real probelm with the old system. The new system is extremely quiet and maintains a consistent temp throughout the day--and we've had some extremely hot days since it's been installed. American Energy's installers were all very friendly and professional, and did a great jobs with prep and clean-up each day they were here (the initial install took two days). There were a couple minor issues after the install was complete which required two follow-up appointments. One was a equipment issue that required Carrier to provide a replacement part, but Carrier was responsive and quickly provided it. For the additional follow-up appointments, their scheduling person as professional, courteous, and accommodating. In fact, she went out of her way over a weekend to re-schedule an appointment that was supposed to happen on a Monday morning. To me the company has to be a good one to A.) get that kind of diligence out of employees, and B.) to keep those kind of employees. In the end, I'm extremely happy with the system and will gladly subscribe for their annual maintenance contract.

Jaguar Heating & Air is the best! We have been clients since 2021 and are always satisfied with…read morethe quality of their work, their professionalism, and their honesty. The office staff is wonderful and responsive, too! Jaguar Technicians have performed regular Spring & Fall maintenance checks and in so doing have caught and corrected several errors made by the company that originally installed our replacement HVAC system in 2015. We recently called after hours when our heater mysteriously would not come on after a major storm. They responded to our call first thing the next morning and were ready to send a Technician out the same day. When Jaguar Technician Johnathan arrived, he quickly determined what the heater issue was and did a great job of explaining it to us. No repair was necessary. While he was here, Johnathan also investigated a second problem for us. We had noticed that over that past several months the blower filter was becoming extremely dirty very quickly-- in less than a month's time. After scoping our ducts and determining that they were very clean, he noticed that our older home has two return registers in the living room floor and another one in the hallway. A quick scoping of the return ducts showed a large amount of built up dust! Within a week Jaguar sent out their Technician, Ryan -- for a very reasonable price I must say -- to clean the return register ducts. He did a fantastic job! From start to finish, Ryan asked good questions and was very professional, knowledgeable and conscientious. Additionally, everything was perfectly cleaned up when the job was complete. Every single Jaguar Technician we have had do work on our HVAC system has been, without exception, excellent. Additionally, communication about appointments, arrival times, billing etc. is very good. Simply said, this is a well-run company that cares about the quality of their work and the customers they serve.

Received a phone call the next morning around 7:30 from Rey's and we set up a same day appointment. I was told they'd be coming to the house from 12-2pm so I left that window open in my day. I was super happy when the technician, Adrian, arrived at 12:05! Very punctual. The house call was $99. This was very fair but also only the beginning. I was hopeful my total wouldn't be too much more. Adrian got to work and took a total of two hours to complete the job. He was very detailed in telling me the issue at hand and informed me more about my current furnace. The cost of everything came out to $324. But this means we're going to have a warm home all winter long, which is priceless. Thanks Rey's! Look forward to having them come back out to service and maintain the air conditioning system.

Two word review: Honest, Responsive…read more This is my THIRD consecutive 5-star review for Rocklin Heating & Air. In the last 10 or so years in the area I've called RHA, one other place because they could get me to faster - had a bad experience, waited for RHA had an amazing experience, and decided they're going to be my ride-or-die for HVAC. I called them at 7am and by 11:30am their tech had fixed and tested everything and off to help someone else. Yesterday was the start of a heat wave and ... our AC unit quit on us. I called RHA as soon as they opened this morning at 7am, asked for Joe in particular, and they gave me a window between 10am and 12pm. Joe texted ahead of time at 10:30, diagnosed the blown capacitor, swapped it out, cleaned things up a bit, tested the coolant, answered a bunch of questions, and was on his way in just under an hour. The diagnostic was $129 and the capacitor was $186 today. By a complete and total coincidence, I had been running some experiments with home temperature sensors for the last week. You can literally see on these pictures exactly when the AC unit stopped working - and when RHA saved our bacon. The "other" place I called years ago only had a $79 diagnostic charge, but wanted to rip out and replace the entire HVAC system - and claimed we were taking our lives in our own hands by not getting it fixed with him immediately. Joe and RHA took care of everything for the diagnostic. Yeah, you can probably find someplace to charge you less for the diagnostic or maybe less for the part, but when your house is boiling hot / freezing cold, you want to be able to call on someone you can trust to help you out - and not take you for a ride.
