Just alright. Food was decent. But what disgusted me the most was the giant line of ants crawling up the wall.

They are attentive at all the right touches without hovering, and the meal was a perfect place to enjoy the delicious food while sharing in each other's company. Standouts for our group were the tuna tartare with guacamole and beet & preserved vegetable amuse bouche items, the lobster course, and the risotto (although one of our diners prefers it slightly softer). One of the highlights is at the end of the meal, we were given the chance to come down to the kitchen and meet the chef and his team!

We enjoyed most of the dishes, but the majority of them had cured fish or vegetables. At a Michelin starred restaurant, I would have expected more fresh seafood and vegetables. A good number of them had more acidic profiles than we were used to. For example, they had a vinegar beet risotto, which was odd to me. It was topped with flavorful shrimp and fennel, but the sour risotto on the bottom was odd (1 star off). My favorite course was the pasta course (always the best course in Italy), and my second favorite was the dessert course. The bread service was amazing. Both the sourdough and focaccia were delicious. You could even select the olive oil to go with your bread. As someone picky about olive oil, I enjoyed reading through their olive oil "menu". The view of the water was nice, although you do see a little bit of the bus terminal and people frantically trying to get on what might be the last bus of the night. There is quite a bit of street noise from motorists honking and the occasional band playing from the town square. Other than that, the noise level lowers as the evening goes on, and the ambiance is lovely.
