Spending the winter near this restaurant and was intrigued by the menu and reviews. I am new to Cuban food, but I love discovering new tastes. I had their Philly cheesesteak for starters just as a comparison to the American version. The Cuban bread brought a new dimension to the traditional cheesesteak sandwich. Later I had their traditional Cuban sandwich and was delighted. I'm anxious to try more of their menu offerings. Down visiting friends in the Villages and someone mentioned Cuban food, so we took a short drive to Villa Pinar. I love empanadas and enjoyed a couple filled with chicken along with rice. All of my friends seemed to enjoy their meals as well. Next time I will definitely try some coffee. read more

VERY sad that we live so far away from this place (Virginia). We were visiting my brother and his wife who lives nearby and they took us here. Amazing food, very authentic. We were there twice in the week we were visiting, my brother and his wife go there a lot. They love it too. We got the pork shoulder, with yellow rice. We tried plantain one time and yucca the next. Small restaurant that we found via Yelp while searching for furniture for our new home. My wife choose the pork sandwich and I elected for the lunch plate which allowed you to select from a number of delicious looking selections from the hot table. I elected roast pork, black beans and rice , and sweet plantains. Generous portions in both meals. Wow! Everything was so tasty and fresh! We especially enjoyed the pork sandwich on Cuban bread. It was huge, so much so that we took 1/2 home. Outstanding meals with what seems to be a family owned business. Great food among a comfortable vibe. We will return for sure!
