Chocolate cake

Great place for a night out. I enjoyed the food so much! It was me and my friends first time here and they did not disappoint. Our waitress was super sweet and attentive. The food was amazing and tasteful. Such a cute place and amazing view at night with the lights. I highly recommend and would come back. Also the chocolate cake is huge and shareable. If you haven't visited, please come you are missing out. Definitely adding this place into the rotation.

It's was a beautiful, nicely decorated villa restaurant! Our waitress made many mistakes with our orders and the food came out slow. But the food was delicious and reasonably priced! I'd go back to eat here in a heartbeat!

This beautiful old mansion hosts a very nice Mexican restaurant. Most of the dishes aren't your typical Tex-Mex but more Baja style. This night we had Enchiladas Suizas and Pollo Durango. Absolutely delicious! House margaritas on the rocks are equally tasty. Their companion restaurants are equally good - 1836 also in Tyler and Montez Creekside in Whitehouse. Each one different and worth checking out!

I have to say, this is one of the most aesthetically pleasing restaurants I've been to in a long time. I don't know the history behind it, but I'm sure it used to be a mansion owned by a very wealthy family or politician. I came here on a Thursday night, and I couldn't stop marveling at the architecture and lights strewn all over the beautiful courtyards. It definitely gets 5 stars for ambiance. The food was very good. I came with a group of about 10, and we got a couple orders of queso to accompany the chips and salsa. Chips were fried perfectly and the salsa was delicious. The queso was unlike any queso I've ever had. Super thick, but super good. You just have to order it to see what I mean. For my entree, I chose the fajita burrito. I was very hungry, and someone told me the burritos here were big. A more fitting word would be enormous. It seemed like it was almost a foot long and filled with meat, rice, beans, and cheese. Definitely had to take half of it to go. I definitely wouldn't have expected a restaurant like this in Tyler, but it's a must try! A great place to get pics for your Instagram feed as well!

Is the restaurant ADA accessible? I just see pictures with stairs and one of our party has limited mobility.

Pathway leading to outside seating would be ADA accessible. However it might be difficult to navigate the inside space.

From the moment we walked in, this place felt warm, welcoming, and real -- not trendy, not flashy, just genuinely good. The food was the star of the show. The pupusas were perfectly crisp on the outside and soft, cheesy, and flavorful on the inside, served with bright, tangy curtido that tied everything together beautifully. The rice and beans were simple in the best way -- seasoned like someone's grandma was back in the kitchen -- and the plantains were caramelized, buttery, and impossible to stop eating. You could tell everything was made with care, patience, and pride, not rushed or reheated. Portions were generous, prices were fair, and the service was friendly without hovering. If you love bold, comforting, homemade flavors, this is absolutely worth the stop. We'll definitely be back -- and soon.

The spices are different and not too spicy hot at all. My favorite is their pupusas with choice of meats, veggies and cheese. Also the chicken enchilada is great. I like to mix in their cole slaw with the pupusa. My wife is from Colombia and she had the chicken stew lunch and loved it. Their 4 fruit drink is home made fresh and to die for

It was a real culinary adventure for the whole crew, as none of us--myself, my daughter, or our spouses--had ever tried it before. Now, while I can't speak to the ambiance or the dine-in experience just yet, I can absolutely rave about the food. Despite it being a takeout order and enduring a bit of a journey (about 30 minutes in the car!), the flavors held up beautifully. From the vibrant street tacos to the perfectly prepared chimichanga and the hearty burrito, every dish was a hit. I was genuinely impressed with the quality! And here's a little trick that made it even better: knowing I'm not a huge fan of dishes absolutely drenched in cheese, my daughter cleverly requested ours without. They totally understood and even sent along a generous side of queso, which was a brilliant touch! It turned into the ideal companion for our chips and salsa, making for an even more delicious spread. Seriously, the food was top-notch all around. I'm already plotting our next visit, hoping to experience the full dining-in vibe and, of course, sample their margaritas (plural, naturally!). It's definitely on our list for a future family outing when we're in the area.

Our last visit we noticed both the recipe and the bowl they serve it in had changed, but it was still the most delicious flavor and we both loved the extra vegetables! Service was ok, nothing special. We were checked on right after our food arrived, but then had to wait to get our check. They do get busy on Sundays after churches let out. Ambiance was what you would expect in a Latin restaurant, bright colors.
