We were visiting Greenville and past by Don Toro's, thought it looked fun, so popped in. We were greeted and seated right away and received our chips and salsa which were delicious. Service was excellent! The atmosphere was bright yellow and happy. Ordered the lunch chicken and steak fajitas which were perfectly cooked and generous proportioned. Will definitely be back on our next visit.

The food was amazing and the service was top notch! I told my wife I am ready to go back and eat here again.

Need to do better on advertising.

We walked in the door at 9:11pm was told they were closed. Website said open and the lights that were still on when we got there said close at 10. They turned them off after we walked out.

My sweetheart and I chose Don Toro for our Valentine's Day dinner as we thought it would be a good and romantic dinner..., or so we thought. Nope! It was a 180° around toward the worst! It took us around 30 minutes for us to wait on our chips and salsa, which we find UNACCEPTABLE! When the chips and salsa finally arrived, the salsa was smoky and fine although a bit watery... It then took us around 20 minutes for our drinks to arrive which is NOT GOOD especially when it's Valentine's Day... It then took us 40-45 minutes to wait on our main courses to arrive and we were getting really upset! We noticed several patrons next to us getting impatient and one couple threatened to leave if they don't get their foods, so that gave us a small sense of peace knowing we weren't the only ones alone. When the foods arrived (FINALLY!), it tasted okay as well... my sweetheart was unable to finish the rest of her foods, because it wasn't that good and her chicken was a bit too charred inside her burrito. My birria burrito was okay as well... We even asked the waitress to omit the queso from our order since it didn't arrive when we first asked for it earlier! Well, the waitress finally brought it over in a small to-go cup. That one small to-go cup for $5??? Main issue to rectify and address is food service and wait time. I understand that there are so many people and customers inside Don Toro for Valentine's Day... It would be really necessary to hire and put more servers and kitchen staff to work to accommodate that much of a crowd inside Don Toro. Please know that we will not go back to Don Toro again, because it took THAT long for us to wait and that really thinned our patience to the very last strand! Secondly, we do deserve better food than this, especially during the wait time.

The food was great and delicious. The service was great, explained specials. No waiting nice atmosphere was great.

Tomato soup and a taco salad for the two of us. Convenient to our motel, basic Tex-Mex choices, happy they were here for us. Good service.

What a surprise to find such a romantic, exclusive and fusion Latin Cuisine experience in Tyler,…read moreTexas. Set on a hill, this beautiful property is definitely eye catching from the intersection. I call it fusion Latin cuisine because their shrimp ceviche was definitely not your typical one. Surprised with the sweet and not expected pineapple pieces, I couldn't help myself from enjoying and eating all of it. And the plate presentation of this appetizer is on point! Well done! Love the M letter drawing, the 'tartar' set up and dollop of guacamole to hold the chip deco! I believe the chips are home made. Service was wonderful! Attentive. Was recommended the blue coconut jalapeño mojito and it was also different. I would have personally liked a classic mojito better. Coconut and jalapeño didn't rock my boat, but the presentation was lovely. For the entrees we went off the card and chose from their specials menu. The Osso Buco pork shank was juicy, fall off the bone, and deliciously flavorful! Bold in flavors. The tasty saucy beans balanced the bland cilantro lime rice. It was a large portion, couldn't finish the quantity but it was well-loved. The surf and turf dish was beautifully set up. The filet mignon steak was on top of chimichurri fries, and the overcooked lobster found its way on fajita vegetables. The steak that was cut in was more of a medium and not medium rare but still tasty and finished. This place is apparently popular amongst prom goers. Quite a few prom groups with photographers were taking pictures in and around the building earlier that evening. Aside from the food, service and ambience. Villa Montez could still improve with the welcoming hostess, and by cleaning up the construction materials in the back and by the parking lot.

(went on Feb. 25)…read more It's rare to find a restaurant that serves the entire fish, as seen here. But in Chinese restaurants, that's the norm! (There, they also steam the fish rather than fry it; but hey, beggars can't be choosers!) I knew this existed from other people's pics. But on the menu, I couldn't figure out which item it was. I asked the waiter, he pointed it out, but I forgot what he said. Lol. I think it's tilapia. It was $15 before tax, tip. Just what I wanted!

(NYC). Introducing Inka's. Peruvian meets Colombian cuisine. I am part Colombian so Colombian cuisine is something I am very familiar with, Peruvian not so much. The number one staple in Colombian food is going to be the dish called "Bandeja Paisa" which contains pork, beef, sausage, sweet plantain, egg, avocado, rice and beans. This is what caught my eye because it is what I am most familiar with. I also ordered a mango milkshake. This was not my first time being here at this establishment. The place stays pretty empty and it is quite unfortunate because the quality of food, the taste and the attentive to detail from the staff is above and beyond. Inside, the place is rather big and it looks like they have live music at times. I just wish them to a lot more busier because this is the closest thing I have to Colombian food. My bandeja paisa elevated me straight to Colombia where the taste from the pork was out of this world it was so crunchy yet so soft, the beans were amazing as well as the beef. Let me not forget the mango milkshake which was delicious. I need everyone to saturate this establishment and support this business because these flavors are international but teleported locally to serve good cuisine.

We had seen the place on Yelp and planned to grab something quick to go, but it turned into a great stop. The location is fantastic and convenient near the airport. The hostess was welcoming right away and directed us to the bar so we could place a quick to-go order. At the bar, the bartender gave excellent service and convinced us to try a couple of tacos along with the yuca fries and plantains we originally planned to order--and I'm glad he did. The Tacos Al Carbón were outstanding: grilled fajita beef with sautéed poblano and onion on flour tortillas topped with pico de gallo and guacamole. The steak was tender and full of flavor. The beans and rice were just right, and the plantains with coconut sauce were a perfect addition. The bartender also recommended a Stone Delicious IPA, which made the short wait enjoyable. We grabbed a Tamarindo agua fresca and bolitas de yuca for the road--light, flavorful, and perfect for the drive. Great food, great service, and a great find near the airport. Definitely worth stopping in.

The concept was a delight, all you can eat course dining where you can try everything and order more of what you like. When you sit down, they bring each of the four course out in full to your table and give you time to enjoy each plate. The first course was a simple course of a light cheese dumpling soup and warm fresh bread with a variety of spreads. We found this course an excellent introduction and the soup was exceptionally executed. The second course was a course of appetizers. This is the course we liked the best, the large number of small plates really made the meal feel lavish and each dish was high quality and made with care. I loved the grilled cheese and the spiced apple sauce served with the chicken was delicious. The third course was the entree course, consisting of a number of grilled steaks, poultry, and pasta dishes. The chicken was a bit salty for my tastes but the pasta and the steaks were competently prepared. Lastly, the fourth course was a delightful dessert consisting of flan, chocolate mousse, and a passion fruit mousse. The passion fruit mousse was especially good, but I think each of the desserts worked well to balance each other out. I would like to see dessert with some more variety of texture. The service was perfect, our waiters came around at just the right times and took care to tell us about the dishes on offer. I was equally impressed with the atmosphere. Overall, the dinner price is a little steep, but I think it is well worth it. We will certainly be returning!

It's a bit of a Brazilian steakhouse style (stuff is brought around and you say if you want some of it) and them bringing you the most massive amount of plates that you can ask to refill infinitely. Our bread, soup, and appetizer courses were highlights. The bread was great with multiple spreads, the soup was cooked perfect, and most of the appetizers had a unique twist and quality taste. We enjoyed our steaks and pasta enough, but some were just not worthwhile in small ways--there was a flavorless four cheese pasta for example, and the garlic parm chicken was somewhat salty. The picanha was a bit tough on the outside but perfect inside. None of it was blowing my socks off, but definitely on the good side. Lastly, our dessert course was wonderful. All 3 were perfect, and we were told by I presume the manager to focus on the passion fruit one, which was stellar. If I returned, I'd be interested in trying a fun drink. They have several non alcoholic options that caught my eye. We were very well waited on, and never were left wanting or waiting. The manager himself came around several times and chatted with us a bit. I wish the water glasses were larger so I wasn't pouring constantly, but that's a small gripe. Overall, we enjoyed it here and are already thinking of friends and family to bring next time!
