Still Casa Olé to me, Don Benito's is exactly what I have in mind when I think of "Tex-Mex," there's something for everyone, it's admittedly simple, but it checks all of the boxes in my book. I'm not sure in my likely 20 years of patronizing this establishment have I had their salsa, the star of the show is the Green Sauce, you know it's fresh because somedays it's just not as good as others, all depends on who mixes it! The service feels like home too, my parents are regulars of almost 30 years, and most of the staff know them-and their "old-style" order well. Since the dissolving of the Casa Olé brand/franchise, prices have considerably ballooned and the menus changed to look like a fine establishment, but inside the vibe is still all the same familiar neon and colorful glow. read more

This was my first time going here. Walked in and was greeted and sat down immediately. Ordered my food and it came out quick, hot, and delicious. We were regulars here for a long time. Food was always great! However, the Last three times we went the food was so cold the cheese didn't melt. When we mentioned it we were told yes, they had a problem with the oven in the kitchen. REALLY!!! You knew the plate was cold and you still served it!! The rice was hard didn't taste fresh. Service was 5 stars! The rice is very flavorful, it isn't boxed rice. Queso and the guacamole sauce was delicious! Of course the margaritas was top notch, I could've drank a ton more of those. The taco dinner was hot and very tasty. Loved the flavor of the taco meat. Husband had the platter. The enchilada would've been better with the queso on it and the quesadillas could've been better. I was there with my daughter and 3 grandkids last Saturday. The service was terrible and all 5 meals were wrong. I'm not much of a complainer when it comes to restaurants. But I do tip accordingly. My bill this day was $54.06. I used my credit card at check out and did $0 on the tip line. I looked at my statement last night and they charged my credit card $75.06. I called this morning explained what happened to the manager. She promised she would call me back in a couple of hours. She did not so I called her back and she admitted that I had a $0 tip but the waitress and cashier had in fact added a $21 tip. That is fraud!! I asked for my total refund. Two managers were so rude about me asking for my money refund!! They stole $21 from me and are now acting like the victim!! They10/10 do not go here unless you want to get fraud charges on your credit card!! SUCH CROOKS!! read more
