Legit banh mi, huge portions of delicious fried egg rolls, and bubble tea at this place. My only complaint is that the egg rolls come with sweet and sour sauce instead of fish sauce although maybe they'd substitute if asked? Anyways, go try it out! read more

Finally! Authentic banh mi at a decent price in Tulsa. Being Vietnamese, I've been pining for the banh mi I grew up eating in Chicago and I can tell you that Viet Hot Bread is the real deal. I love how their sandwiches include the traditional pate on them. Unlike a lot of other banh mi spots, they aren't skimpy on the meat either. I thought that the grilled pork was a little dry, but the #1 combo and the grilled chicken were absolutely crave-worthy. The service is fast and very friendly. The banh mi is possibly one of the best in Tulsa. The bread is AMAZING! Flakey, crusty, but soft inside. Both the pork and the chicken are delicious and so much meat! This is very definition of a Mom & Pop shop. The food is delicious, the Ingredients are fresh, and the staff is as friendly and outgoing as Tulsans tends to be. You NEED to go to Lo Banh Mi Viet Hot Bread at 31st and 129th. I just had the most amazing pork banh mi from there. It was perfect and beautiful and delicious. The staff was super friendly and the entire place was spotlessly clean. The sandwich itself was only $5 and it was pretty much a foot long. They make everything fresh for you and they bake the wonderful, crusty bread in-house! Oh, and if you buy 4 of the already ridiculously under-priced sandwiches, you get a 5th one free! This is some of the best, most affordable food I've ever had in Oklahoma. I used a lot of superlatives, but every single one was deserved. read more

Best banh mi in town, over Pho Nhi and the store Namhai's AND Asian mart right across the street. I get it that the grilled meats are a thing for most people and I myself do enjoy it but if I had to choose I will always get the traditional banh mi's a lot of places call it "Special" but really it's an original banh mi, the red meat, yummmy pate.. ughh it's amazing! The only thing is I kind of wish there was a way they could lay the meat and toppings flatter? On the bread so that with every bite I can get a good amount of veggies and meat, but from how they're putting it in there the veggies kind of falls out from the open side, and so to get a good balance I'm biting from one side and then straight into the other side to get the other toppings all in 1 mouth. But it's not a deal breaker, best prices. If you're a real banh mi enthusiast you should have had some pretty well known Lee's sandwhiches located in Oklahoma City by now, but in comparison to this place??? I'd choose this place over lee's sandwhiches anyday! Love the deals! Definitely have to try the boba next time, though I like slushes better than milk tea. read more

Taro drink was good. Banh mi sandwich, no. My bread was huge but it was barely filled in with meat and ingredients. It was dried. No taste and a whole lot of shredded carrots and black pepper. Homemade is better. Definitely cannot be compared to Denver's. read more

They are less than half the price of the more trendy bahn mi places, yet taste better. A group of us got one of each of the 5 to try. When you get 5, it's even cheaper, as the 5th is free.
