During our anniversary day celebration we decided to play bingo the evening session at the "Viejas Bingo". They have really made some nice improvements to this Bingo Hall. Way back in the day it was located in the casino area. Now it is located across the streets (in the Mall area) from the casino and they have a shuttle that runs all the time to and from the casino all day long. Along with the Bingo Hall in a separate area are slot machines and a snack bar area for your enjoyment. It is very well maintained with plenty of security and everyone is so helpful. You can play Bingo all day long if you like. They provide morning, afternoon and evening sessions. The cost varies depending on the game packages you want to play and the special add on games that can increase your winning potential. My husband and I made at least a $100.00 investment each towards winning a bingo game. So I was very disappointed when at the end of the night neither of us had won "ANYTHING". We came close several time "1 AWAY" but never got to shout "B I N G O". Now for the woman sitting next to us she won three times each game paying $1199.00. OMG !

This happened way too many times...smh.

Clean bingo hall with good prize money. Came in on a Saturday afternoon where prize money ran in the $500 range. We went with the $50 game that gave about 162 cards plus an extra dozen for my birthday. All the free coffee and soda you can ask for as well!

It was our first tine playing Bingo at Viejas. Thank you Nicholas for being so patient and helpful. You and Amanda provide great service. The venue is clean and all workers were friendly. Couple suggestions... 1. tablets should beep when your waiting for only one number 2. should be more tablets that have bigger screen

First i played Bingo here. I felt like i was cheating on Sycuan's Bingo. I've played at Bingo @ Sycuan my whole life except last week #unfaithful haha Anyways... its a smaller room, games are very similar to Sycuan, its quicker, and easy as 1 2 3. I definitely want to come back and play.

    Automated system for bingo

The bingo is great... but take food/snacks with you!!! The women working at the snack bar are super slow and barely understand English!!! You have to Repeat yourself a few times to get your order correct!! Then it takes them almost 5 minutes or more to get your order together! Then you have to ask again for anything they forgot and left out of your order!!! Oh and you MUST HAVE a players club card to order anything at all or you have waited in line for nothing because they REFUSE to let you pay or get anything without a viejas club card!!!! LIKE WHAT IF you don't want to become a player member and just want to play and snack? PLAYING BINGO IS GREAT!!

The good thing is, the staff that runs the bingo hall is very helpful and their customer service is very good; all are pretty friendly. Must to be at least 18 yrs old to play & they offer military discounts Mon-Thurs, only. Lines to pay for bingo can be a bit slow but depends on what days you go. Unfortunately, there are a few well known "regulars" who seem to make Bingo their primary source of income from this place. On the weekends you can usually find an older couple (white, balding male & Asian, petite female w/long hair) who sit in together in the back, as well as an older Hispanic woman w/blonde hair, with a sparkling ball cap that always has a reserved seat up front by the announcer (she sits on a pillow), these 3 "regulars" will normally buy the maximum buy-in allowed by the casino and they'll win multiple games in a row. This of course upsets the other players & takes the fun outta the game. You can hear the discouraging words from the people there just wanting to play for fun and win a little bit of money. It's a shame these "regulars" have to ruin it for everyone one else, and kinda makes you not wanna go back. I figured I'd at least warn others of these "Regulars", so the public can decide if they wanna save their money or give it away to a stranger. It's best to scout the bingo room for these characters before you decide which package to purchase (if any at all) otherwise you're probably just wasting your time & throwing away your hard earned money. If anything, Viejas Bingo management should keep track and/or make a rule or put a cap on how many games these people can win per session, per week, per day, per month, etc., to make it fair for all and to keep people wanting to come back, otherwise risk losing business. Ohh you can bring in your own food & snacks. Free self-serve soft drinks are available. No alcohol. There's a small snack bar, but food is very basic. Not kid or pet friendly. Small smoking section. Older crowd, but still cleaner & classier than Sycuan lol!

The seasonal pack cost for Saturday and Sunday has gone up. I love that the jackpots start at $750 for level 1.

One of my hobby is to play bingo. Bingo used to be played at the main casino. I don't know why they moved it across the street, right next to the outlet. I come here to Viejas to play bingo whenever I get a chance like maybe 3 or 4 times a year and I only come either Friday night or a Saturday night. And a big price for Friday and Saturday. Anyways, I go to this casino because I feel safer coming to this place while driving there and going home since it is just my friend and I. I don't like driving to Sycuan or Barona because the road heading there has a zig zag and it is like you are in a desert, where not many people drive on that road. That is my reason and... I am afraid that someday I will have a car issue going to Sycuan or Barona, then I will be stucked in the middle of no where. Therefore, I prefer Viejas where it is right next to the freeway and there are houses in the area. I don't really order any food there because I usually eat at home before heading there, so I can saved my money. It is mostly sandwiches, chips, etc that they sale. Remember water is free or at least rhe baby water bottle is free. There is a limit to the little water bottles because they don't want someone grabbing a whole case! It used to be unlimited water but some people got greedy and take the whole case home!! Parking isn't a problem. There are plenty spaces available. I have never won here but I guess when my luck comes, I hope to win big! LOL

Vieja promos is legit!…read more As many times as I have seen the Viejas promo flyers in my mailbox I have always tossed them. But this time I said let me give it a try. Viejas has a pretty good reason to stop by on the weekends in August 8-9and you don't have to spend a dime. Every Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m.-7 p.m., they're giving away a different piece of a bedroom set at the Promotional Center. So far, I've picked up the U.S. Polo queen-size sheets, comforter, and bamboo pillows. Next week is the plush throw--and everyone needs a good throw. Keep it on the couch, toss it in the car for winter, or bring it out when you're sitting around a bonfire. The giveaway itself is simple: bring your casino card and ID, let them scan them, pick up your item, and keep it moving. No purchase required. Now, there is one catch: self-control. If you walk into a casino like a kid walking into a candy store and suddenly the cards and machines start calling your name, that "free" comforter might become a very expensive comforter. As for the quality, I've actually been using everything. The sheets have been great during these hot nights warm enough with the A/C running but still cool enough when it's off. The comforter is incredibly soft without being overly fluffy, and it works nicely with my duvet. The bamboo pillows are light and airy. So far, Viejas is slowly furnishing my bed one weekend at a time. And at the price of FREE, I have absolutely no complaints.

Ive been taking the time to have a few staycations these days and when I received an email from…read moreViejas for a free couple night stay I jumped on the chance. This review is mostly for the Viejas hotel as they have two on the property. I was offered a early check in which I was happy about and the gal in the front asked if I wanted the tower that faced the outlets or the tower that faced the parking garage. Naturally I picked not looking at the parking garage but as I settled in and put my bathing suit on I realized I had to walk through the casino with all my stuff and not too many clothes on that I asked if they would move me. They gladly did and again a room was available, thank you for that. The first thing I noticed when I entered was that there wasnt enough light and nothing was automatic. The curtains were hard to open and close because chairs and tables were in front of it and all the lights had to be switched on and off which was a little annoying for me. The elevators were slow but there was always housekeeping in the hallway if I needed any extra coffee or water and they were all really nice. You also couldnt log into your netflix or other streaming services which was a bummer. They did even have a cucumber lemon water in the lobby which was really refreshing as well. The pool was nice and had a DJ on the weekend but there was no service and no food as well. Just a walk up bar that was closed on Monday when I went, On sunday I did come down in my regular clothes to sit in a "cabana" for a moment when I was rudley asked to move as it was for reservations. I did see a reservation sign on the same bed the day before and it wasnt on there on Sunday so I thought it was ok to sit but the guy working there who didnt seem to like his job let me know he cant have me sitting there. I think next time they should just leave the reserved signs on there so there is no confusion and or just let someone sit if the pool is not even busy anyway. I did need the light to work so the lighting part cut my work time and they had robes and no slippers. Hopefully next time I stay it will be more available. I did win at bingo so overall I left pretty satisfied :)

First off, I had no idea there were 2 hotels at Viejas and honestly love the Willows Hotel & Spa, plus it's a 21+. When you walk in, it feels like a mini Vegas hotel. You go upstairs to the front desk and service was really great, from the check in process to the luggage assistance. But it's really when you get up to the room that is impressive; probably one of the nicer rooms that I've stayed in which a nice open area with a mini bar, desk and living room. The bedroom is in a separate room and much to my surprise, there was a special birthday setup on the bed for me (loved it!). And can't forget the extra large shower with rainfall faucet and all the amenities you would need. On to the spa. Amazing. While it's on the smaller side I had a great experience, from the attentive staff that made me feel welcomed to the massage and near-private hot tub/sauna/steam room and lovely pool area. It's adjacent to the regular hotel pool that you also have access to as well. If you get a service you can use the amenities all day with in and out privileges, such a nice relaxing day if you ask me. So while I'm limiting my review to the hotel and spa, the Viejas property has so much to do. The casino is a short walk from the hotel along with a variety of restaurants. The outlet mall is literally across the street and has a bingo hall and bowling and also had a seasonal skating rink. The golf course is also a drive down the road. In conclusion, I had a 5 star experience. I was sad to check out and I will be back for another stay!

I also liked that the lodge was attached to a small shopping center, which made it convenient to grab food late at night with several options nearby. The customer service was okay. The staff weren't the friendliest, but overall, I didn't have any major issues. I had requested a crib when making my booking, but apparently, the request was never received. If you need one, I'd recommend calling ahead to confirm. We were still able to get a crib, but we had to wait for it to be delivered later that night. As for breakfast, it's definitely one of the more basic continental breakfasts I've had. There were scrambled eggs, bacon, and various breads, along with the usual basics. It was okay at best, but it's always nice to have breakfast included, so I can't complain too much. Another plus was the free parking. Overall, the stay was decent and the pricing was reasonable. We chose this lodge because it was a more affordable option for staying somewhat close to San Diego. I would recommend it if you're looking for a clean and affordable place to stay. Unfortunately, our experience at check-in was disappointing because of the customer service we received. We arrived around 6:00 PM on August 7, 2026. The two girls at the front desk were not welcoming at all--no smile, no friendly greeting, and overall a very cold attitude. We are very friendly people and also work in the hospitality industry, so we understand that hotel jobs can be busy and stressful. However, basic courtesy and hospitality should still be there. One of the employees was repeatedly going outside to a car that was parked outside while we were trying to get assistance, which made the whole experience feel even more unprofessional. The biggest issue was when we asked about the complimentary shuttle service. The employee told us she would call and let us know. We went up to our room to get ready for the evening and waited. No one ever contacted us. We eventually called the front desk ourselves, only to find out that they apparently don't make those calls at all. We felt completely ignored. It's unfortunate because we actually liked the hotel and our room. The property itself has a lot going for it, but the interaction with these two employees really affected our first impression and overall experience. Hopefully management can address the customer-service issue because a welcoming front desk makes a huge difference, especially after guests have traveled a long way to get there.

First off it's huge and you are allowed to feed and pet ALL of the animals! They have so much to see! Cows, pigs, camels, and even a zebra!! I never thought in my life I'd pet a zebra, this experience is just incredible! They even have turkeys and peacocks that roam and even came up to us for some food! All of the animals were super friendly and adorable. We even saw the smallest mini horse ever that was so cute. There are also cats that roam the property and one of them followed us throughout the whole place. Can you ask for a cuter tour guide?! They also grow their own produce and sell eggs. We picked and cut our own pumpkins and left with some duck eggs as well! Overall this was just the most fun experience I've ever had. I regret not purchasing the membership because ever since I left I keep thinking about how bad I want to come back! This is definitely a hidden gem and a fantastic experience.

If you love animals and want to support a truly heart-driven cause, Alpine Acres Sanctuary Farm is…read morethe place to visit. I've been in touch with Agnes, the owner and operator, for a few years now and she does it all. It's inspiring to see how much love and effort goes into keeping this sanctuary running for the animals who call it home. They offer family-friendly daily tours where you can feed the animals directly- horses, pigs, bison, goats, ducks, tortoises, camels, bulls, and more! Pro tip: go early in the morning before it gets too warm. Hours are 10 AM - 5 PM, 7 days a week (closed Thanksgiving & Christmas). They also host birthday parties and private events. I actually celebrated my 37th birthday here with about 25 friends and kids. We got a private tour with Agnes herself, and the best part? Our donation was tax-deductible since they're a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. It felt meaningful knowing our celebration helped sustain the farm's mission. To help fund operations, they also grow their own vegetables, herbs, greens, and squash onsite. You can text 866-612-6520 to get on their weekly veggie list and orders can be picked up at the farm or Wednesdays at Kohl's in Santee. They even offer volunteer opportunities year-round. We brought my 16-year-old nephew once to help clean the goat area. It was a hands-on, memorable experience to give back and see the difference a few hours can make. If you're looking for something wholesome, local, and purposeful......this is it!!
