"SHHHH" BINGO You know you "old" when an evening out with a group consists of Bingo... at a Casino!!! None of us except two have played Bingo at this level so everything was quite new. There IS dedicated parking for Bingo, reserved parking! The Bingo Hall has its own building with some slots in the lobby, snack bar, and a decent size restroom with plenty of stalls. BINGO ETIQUETTE Fair reminder, there is "Bingo Etiquette" - it's quiet as a damn library it was so uncomfortable to even speak or whisper. Our group was hushed by some random lady a few times and she snitched on us and staff (who seemed to be laid back) would occasionally mention in the prompt that everyone needs to be quiet (they didn't single us out but we knew that message was directed towards us). "Library Bingo" was so quiet, I could hear myself think that I was able to solve a coding conditional logic for work (that I been working on for days) in my head and write it down. PACKAGE DEALS This was overwhelming to understand. I just went with the flow of what everyone else was signing up for. Early Bird ($10) + 175 card ($40) + happy ball ($5) = adult fun with friends. DIGITAL VS. PAPER Next level Bingo! Received an iPad that basically does everything for you. The only action from you is type in your account number (received on your receipt after paying) and calling out "BINGO" if you win any of the games. Literally hands free and focus free - it's nice to eat, snack, try to whisper-converse amongst the group, do whatever. Yes, option to dab the paper oldskool if you like. FOOD AND DRINKS They don't tell you this but INSIDE the Bingo hall are free drinks (soda, coffee, water, etc.) . Don't buy drinks at the snack bar right outside before coming in. In addition, people bring their own snacks from home if you want to save money. But the snack bar was relatively cheap compared to the increase of food from inflation. Most of us got Nachos because it was the most for your buck. There is option to get Carne Asada or Chili and but default you get a mini bucket of cheese. BRING TUMS AND PEPCID AC - you are going to need it. B-I-N-G-O! So close yet so far. The night we went, the buyout was $750 per game. Wow! Other days it can be even higher. We were here for several hours playing Bingo and the Bingo games weren't just one stretch of line... Bingo came in different shapes and sizes. If I'm looking to kill time and be a mute, I could see myself coming here to do so (LOL). Sit, eat, and hope to win. Didn't win anything this night but maybe in the future. Honestly, with a group of people who like socializing this "Library Bingo" "SHHH Bingo" might be too quiet and you become the distracting background noise. This is a fun place to play Bingo. It's at Viejas but is a separate building. We always get there early so we can get fixed machines together as there are not a lot of those. They do have portable machines that are about the size of an IPad. The machines have Solitaire games so you can entertain yourself before Bingo starts. Free soda and coffee are available, help yourself. Inside the hall are some gaming machines and a snack bar with plenty of choices. This is all near the Food Court. We usually walk over there and get take out from one of the many places. Bingo staff are all very nice, friendly and helpful. We don't often win but always have a good time. read more

What a great time! Today my wife and I had playing the matinee bingo! I'm not sure if it's a Saturday bingo delight, but everybody who won got to spin a wheel to win a larger sum of money than the normal $600 that you would typically win for yelling bingo and having a bingo. My family and I took my mom to bingo for an early Mother's Day night out. It was so much fun. The atmosphere was great and everyone was so nice. The cashier Kathy was very helpful and got us all set up for everything. She was even able to reprint my lost viejas member card. The snack bar has very reasonable prices, and the food was tasty. During our anniversary day celebration we decided to play bingo the evening session at the "Viejas Bingo". They have really made some nice improvements to this Bingo Hall. Way back in the day it was located in the casino area. Now it is located across the streets (in the Mall area) from the casino and they have a shuttle that runs all the time to and from the casino all day long. Along with the Bingo Hall in a separate area are slot machines and a snack bar area for your enjoyment. It is very well maintained with plenty of security and everyone is so helpful. You can play Bingo all day long if you like. They provide morning, afternoon and evening sessions. The cost varies depending on the game packages you want to play and the special add on games that can increase your winning potential. My husband and I made at least a $100.00 investment each towards winning a bingo game. So I was very disappointed when at the end of the night neither of us had won "ANYTHING". We came close several time "1 AWAY" but never got to shout "B I N G O". Now for the woman sitting next to us she won three times each game paying $1199.00. OMG ! read more

The good thing is, the staff that runs the bingo hall is very helpful and their customer service is very good; all are pretty friendly. Must to be at least 18 yrs old to play & they offer military discounts Mon-Thurs, only. Lines to pay for bingo can be a bit slow but depends on what days you go. Unfortunately, there are a few well known "regulars" who seem to make Bingo their primary source of income from this place. On the weekends you can usually find an older couple (white, balding male & Asian, petite female w/long hair) who sit in together in the back, as well as an older Hispanic woman w/blonde hair, with a sparkling ball cap that always has a reserved seat up front by the announcer (she sits on a pillow), these 3 "regulars" will normally buy the maximum buy-in allowed by the casino and they'll win multiple games in a row. This of course upsets the other players & takes the fun outta the game. You can hear the discouraging words from the people there just wanting to play for fun and win a little bit of money. It's a shame these "regulars" have to ruin it for everyone one else, and kinda makes you not wanna go back. I figured I'd at least warn others of these "Regulars", so the public can decide if they wanna save their money or give it away to a stranger. It's best to scout the bingo room for these characters before you decide which package to purchase (if any at all) otherwise you're probably just wasting your time & throwing away your hard earned money. I come here to Viejas to play bingo whenever I get a chance like maybe 3 or 4 times a year and I only come either Friday night or a Saturday night. And a big price for Friday and Saturday. Anyways, I go to this casino because I feel safer coming to this place while driving there and going home since it is just my friend and I. I don't like driving to Sycuan or Barona because the road heading there has a zig zag and it is like you are in a desert, where not many people drive on that road. That is my reason and... I am afraid that someday I will have a car issue going to Sycuan or Barona, then I will be stucked in the middle of no where. Therefore, I prefer Viejas where it is right next to the freeway and there are houses in the area. I don't really order any food there because I usually eat at home before heading there, so I can saved my money. It is mostly sandwiches, chips, etc that they sale. Remember water is free or at least rhe baby water bottle is free. There is a limit to the little water bottles because they don't want someone grabbing a whole case! It used to be unlimited water but some people got greedy and take the whole case home!! Parking isn't a problem. There are plenty spaces available. When we got home and checked our credit card statement, we found viejas ran the card as a cash advance. They didn't tell us that. We expected a normal credit transaction. We were charged a cash advance fee of $10 per transaction. This place is a lose-lose venue. Never again will we go there and be scammed. There was nobody on the floor to help.
