I opted to do the yarn pumpkins. They were about nine ladies in our group so the host person who organized the event brought Panera box lunches for us to enjoy before or after we did our crafting. I have to say that a flight of wine was included in the event. I appreciate that the wines were very full in body. Also the wine flight here is very honest so you get a true 2oz pour to taste the goodness of each selection. They have an outdoor patio as well. There is live music on the weekends starting at 6p. This is a great place and we will definitely return. I want to bring my husband back here as well. I saw that a lot of my Yelp Elite friends were regulars here. It's an amateur rodeo, so a lot of bronco and bull riders weren't completing their rides, but it was $20 to get in. Also several kid events that were pretty cute. The website said....no outside food or drinks. No one checked anything. It said to get there early to get a grandstand seat. There was plenty of seats, even in the shade. It also said they would have a burger pop-up restaurant. They did not. They had a concussion stand with $5 hot dogs and nachos, $3 waters, $6 lagers and seltzers. It was hot so we had a couple drinks, then did a late night dinner. Oh, parking in the rodeo lot was a nightmare. It was $20 and no one helped cars get out onto the road, so we sat in the lot forever. Rookie mistake.

My friend used to ride horses in her ranch in a Mexico so I was glad to be among aficionados and totally got in the mood. We parked pretty far and walked around 15 minutes to the place. Lots of young people, all very good looking! Maybe I should go often to this type of places and meet a cowboy . The show was great and the presenter was very entertaining. I liked the attendees too, pretty civilized, tons of young people and couples. Very pleasant and nice experience in and out.

I happened to see an ad in the newspaper on the last day of the festival, May 26th, 2013, or I…read moremight not have known about it all. I was shocked to see that this was their 10th anniversary and I'd never even heard about it before. As much as I love Mideast music & foods I decided to go to it, especially since it wasn't that far, and I wasn't sorry. I got there Sunday evening around 7 and spend a couple hours listening to the lively music, wandering around looking at all the booths, smelling the aromas of food cooking, and eating a variety of the foods available. I may have felt a little less comfortable than I do at the Greek Festival because I've been going to it for 40 years but had a good time. Most of the foods are similar to what I have had at the Greek Festival but with their own variations of course. I probably spent about $30 total. Admission was only $2. I got a sandwich for about $7, a cheese on pita type thing for $3, some meat and rice stuffed grape leaves for 2 or 3 dollars, a bunch of desserts, and then somebody told me how good these other little pastry things with meat inside were that I don't know the name of. I had a couple dollars left and bought some of those. I brought a lot of food home and ate it over the next several days. I enjoyed their version of the Turkish coffee. It was only $1 for a little paper cup full and I don't usually drink coffee at 9 o'clock at night but it was very very good. By the way, they take credit cards. You don't pay the vendors directly except by tickets. You go to a cashier, give them your cash or card and tell them how many tickets you want @ a dollar each. If you run out you go back and get more. These tickets are used to buy food and pay for rides. I don't know about merchandise since I didn't buy any. I would definitely try to go to this festival again next year and would recommend it to others especially if you like homemade Middle East food.

Beautiful round-shaped church architecturally and visually and I'm sure spiritually too but there weren't a mass service at the time of our visit. Attendees were very nice and beautiful bunch of people. Great cultural show with Lebanese and Arabic music, songs, and dancing. The food was good with an elevated outdoor dining area. We had shawarma (beef), chicken, and falafel wraps and they are all delicious. Tented market for arts and crafts and other activities. Parking was an issue but we were able to find street parking with 5-minutes walk away. Very nice event and we recommend it.

The Ramona Womans Club was first organized in 1912. It has an old timey, mid-western feel to the…read moreplace. I visited with my daughter who attended a political event there recently. It is a great spot for friendly women of all varieties to come together in the inland north county. The Woman's Club Motto is : Goals to pursue. The Club Aim is : The cultivation of interest in intellectual and civic pursuits. I like that the gals here have all kinds of activities going. There are general monthly meetings, a Literary Club, Card Parties, (reservations required) & a Ladybug Garden group. Good for the ladies here that the Club contributes to the Ramona community is by awarding annual scholarships. These scholarships provide grants for two continuing college students. With the members' support of fund raising events, a third scholarship may be awarded to a student senior seeking vocational training. The Clubhouse can be rented out for local events & that is how the group will often raise funds for their activities and scholarship programs. Guy Woodward, a former local historian, once stated, "The Woman's Club has always been the 'Backbone of the Back Country'." Originally begun as the "Thimble Club," with 13 women in the early 19th century, the hardy Women's Club has been a longtime Ramona mainstay. In 2015-2016, they completed 104 years of continuous operation. Not much of a joiner to things like this, but the busy ladies here have my full 5 STAR Yelp admiration.
