It didn't feel too loud since we could still talk and hear everyone. The food was good. The drinks were good. Unfortunately, the service timing was a disappointment. After placing our order, we waited nearly an hour for our food. It took so long that we ended up being late for the concert. For a busy Friday night with events happening, I don't think the restaurant was prepared for the crowd. As for the food, it was actually pretty good overall. The burgers were large and satisfying. Both the Shroom Burger and Smoked Brisket Burger were tasty. The Mac n cheese was also good. The Garlic Parmesan Fries were great; they were crispy and even better with the extra Parmesan I requested. The Nachos with added brisket were a bit of a letdown. The brisket was on the dry side, and there wasn't nearly enough nacho cheese for such a large plate. If you're not in a rush, the food is solid. But if you're trying to make a show or concert afterward, I'd give yourself a lot more time than you think you'll need. I heard they're usually pretty quick, so maybe it was just an off night.

Came here with a group of my friends and I really enjoyed the experience here!…read more The place is super adorable with some outside seating available. We were a party of 11 and we got a big booth so all of us could fit. I ordered a bowl of chili and had an Alpine Duet IPA. Im not normally an IPA drinker but this one I liked, it wasnt too bitter and I dare say I liked this IPA! Chili was great and hit the spot, was hearty and well seasoned, just what my body wanted. Ambiance was cozy and gave you a small mountain feel. Service was on point and no issues. Id definitely come back when in Alpine again, was a fun experience!

We were greated right away & were told we could sit wherever we liked. Reallly nice a/c on this very warm day. Great vibes & music. What we ordered: * Potato Skins * Steak Sandwich w/ Salad * Alpine Protein Bowl Everything we had was very yummy. I loved their twist on the potato skins. They were sliced like thicker potato chips. Then mixed with.bacon & cheese. It was a HOT bowl filled with ooey gooey goodness..... The hubby & I shared the steak sandwich. DELICIOUS!! Our salad was fresh & crisp. My bro seemed to have really enjoyed his meal too. Ryan was our server and did a wonderful job. He even put the Padres game on for us!! Perfect.... We had a really good time. We can't wait to go back to try some of their other delicious items.

Recently, we happen to be doing some stuff in El Cajon. And decided to stop by here for happy hour. Everything was just as he described great atmosphere, cold beer, friendly staff, great service good food. Our server's name was Cat, and she was fantastic, very friendly, engaging, attentive, and energetic. Unfortunately that all changed when Cat came to our table with another server named Mimi and said that she was going home and Mimi was taking over. The service immediately went south. Mimi was 180° from Cat. She was not very friendly, not enthusiastic, not attentive and seemed very low energy. We watched her walk around the floor several times yawning with her mouth wide open no attempt to cover it up, this was very offputting. We waited 20 minutes after Cat left, and Mimi never came by our table to ask us if we needed anything. She appeared to be ignoring the entire section. She spent most of her time standing over by the wait station or talking to customers at the bar (which I assume we're not her customers). The only reason we were able to order another round is another server that was not working our section came by and asked us if we needed anything. When Mimi finally did come to our table, we just asked for the check so we could pay and leave. The name on the check was Miranda so I'm not sure what that is about. We did also observe that the two bartenders who were working seemed to be cut from the same cloth as Cat, as they were friendly, engaging moving around quickly taking care of those sitting at the bar. If we're ever back in the area and decide to try again, if we see Mimi is working, we will either leave and go somewhere else , or maybe try to sit in someone else's section.

Once the music got set up on the patio, it was so loud, you couldn't talk with anyone at the table. not a nice way to spend a relaxing afternoon with friends. but ok, we moved inside. The music, by the way, was excellent. So it's not that. Inside we had a server who seemed new or not very well trained. For a place that serves breakfast and lunch, it was odd that at 10 minutes before noon, we still could not order "lunch" items. but ok - pivot to breakfast. we placed drink orders and food. What came out was disappointing. we asked if the bottomless mimosas could have a little cranberry juice added. Server said not problem. What came out were cranberry mimosas, no orange juice in sight. when food came out, it left a lot to be desired. The avocado toast order was awful. plain white, grocery bread barely toasted with an avocado smash (container spread from the store or costco?) and dried grated parmesan cheese (like from the plastic container in the grocer) not as advertised and definitely not what one expects for this dish. The side of bacon was forgotten. The eggs benedict looked ok however the hollandaise sauce was barely existent and what was there was split. Making it barely edible. The other breakfast dishes were just ok. Biscuits and gravy looked good. lots of it and chunky. scrambled eggs and hashbrowns are hard to mess up. But for one person, the hashbrowns were pretty much cooked to a crisp and a lot of grease on the plate. that person left those to the bin. And had a hair on the plate. We had to ask for the bottomless mimosa to be refilled. The server took the glasses, and when they came back, one was orange, one was cranberry and THE GLASSES WERE REUSED! Unacceptable!! if the server didn't know, the bartender should know NOT to reuse glasses. Even if it is our own glasses, you don't reuse them. If you want music, average food, and drinks - this will be ok. The band was really good. The food experience was dreadful.
