Stopped by here with the kids on a Friday night. It was soooo busy but the workers were attentive and tried really hard to keep the line moving quickly. Only one game was not working which is pretty impressive. There's a good variety of games to suit the little ones to the adults. There's also a free obstacle gym thing for the kids to run and climb which nice because the other locations charge to go in the jump area. The place was clean. Kids were behaved and it wasn't loud. Not a fan of the food here at all. We came for a birthday party and they had pizza and chicken nuggets as well as fries there. The pizza was okay. The nuggets left much to be desired. Very greasy and overly salty (and I like salty!). The fries were burnt. That being said, we didn't come here for the food so it's not docking that many stars from this review. The games here are fun. I like that they have a trampoline area. All in all, we had fun, and my son enjoyed the pizza, but for adults, I recommend eating before coming. read more

Manager was cool even though the teens working here couldn't care less. It isn't about the customer anymore so kinda just gota adapt instead of complaining. I think the way complaining parents treat the kids working here is why they have attitude. As a mother of kids ages 18-7. Gota learn to talk to the kids and hope it works and not take things so serious. They are learning like we all did. Overall my fav CC location. Attended a birthday party here on a Wednesday night. Super chaotic and understaffed. Salad bar was not refilled and our party did not get to enjoy it. This was the case for 1 hour. No salad. Staff said it would not be refilled since there was no more salad prepped. No one was checking children at the door. What a waste of time and money. Good and bad: they don't really police the soft play area. I get it, there's not enough staff to be paying attention. So big kids, kids without wrist bands, and kids with shoes on run in the play area without any worries. It's cool if you don't care to teach young kids about rules, but may be hard if you have younger kids who you pay the wrist bands for. read more

12.99 for a salad bar, the salad bar was not constantly full, no other options to constitute a 12.99 salad bar. Online says 8.49 but when you go there its 12.99 for what? Used a coupon to upgrade our medium pizza to a large, that was a scam by the time they charge you for each topping and deduct $3 off the total your paying 22.99 for a large. No savings. Purchased a 60 mins game card expensive at 35 dollars. Card was not activated by the time they were able to help us and trying it on games we lost 15 mins of game time. When we finally got a card the minutes already started from activation at the register and not at our 1st game. Parents were not watching their kids, high pitch screaming, shooting adults with toys and not their own parents. Kids ate our pizza while we went and played games, walked past us on the long booth and sneezed on our food. I asked for salt and pepper was told they dont have that. Hosted my daughters 5th birthday here last month and I was pretty disappointed. We did the Mega Fun package which I feel like the price was fair but our experience was lacking. Our host was nowhere to be found unless she was rushing me to the next activity and we also cleared our own table (plates, napkins, etc). They advertise two hours of gaming but you really only get an hour because it takes time to eat pizza, then they pull you for the "birthday show", and the lame ticket blaster. We scheduled her party for Saturday right when they open (10am) and there were 3 other parties happening at the same time. The birthday show was a joke and Chuck E never even took pictures with the kids or even just the birthday kids. He did his little dance and waved bye and left. They also sang happy birthday as a group including all of the other birthday kids and I was still trying to light my daughter's candles when the song was over. Came on a random Monday evening around 7:30 pm with my son and my sister and her family. My sister had a pair of 2 year old (twins) and a 5 year old. When we got there, the place was pretty empty, which was great for us! We ended up ordering a few pizzas and some salad. The wait would be at least 20 minutes, which wasn't too bad. Once we received our food, the pizza was great. I did have the salad to be a little more healthier and was a bit disppointed they didn't have other toppings such as sunflower seeds and hard boiled eggs. My son and nieces did enjoy their time at this establishment. I have been to all Chuck E. Cheese's in San Diego and this one is the best one that my son and I have been to. Maybe it was because it was the time that we went. We liked that it wasn't crowded and that it was clean. All the machines were also working and the workers were very attentive. read more

First time here and spent 44.00 for large pizza, all you can eat salad and 1 drink. Which the soda machines were down so only tea. The pizza we got was stuffed crust and it was ok nothing fancy. Salad bar was decent plus there is fruit. I thought you would get extra points but that's not the case. For being a brand new place it was clean lots of games. To buy time or points it can be costly so be prepared for that. Very colorful lots of TVs with chuckle cartoons. Employees can't say much it's a job . Had my son's birthday there last weekend and it went smooth due to the manager Gloria that was helping me. It was a Friday afternoon so it was busy with long lines but Gloria was able to assist me and the other customers in a timely matter. Salad bar was delicious as always with lots of options and pizza came out fresh and hot. My husband was craving the wings by the time we got home! It's a newer location so ALOT nicer than some of the other locations we've been too. I come here quite often, but this past one was not that great. Specifically, a guy named Marvee. We were waiting to get a clean salad bar plate, and he had noticed us, but just ignored us standing there, so I went over to him on the other side, and he was looking at the toy wall with what appeared to be a manager of some sort. I said to him excuse me, can we get a new plate, and he turned around and very rudely said, "yeah just a minute," and went back to working with the manager on the toy wall. Chuck E. Cheese was my first job 20 years ago, and that would have never been OK back then! They have no standards now. Another thing to mention, is I will no longer be purchasing the additional wristband for kids to jump on the trampoline or go down the slides. There is no point in me paying every single time, when nobody else pays for the wristband, and it is not enforced. There is no attendant making sure that every child actually buys one, so why should I pay the $15 for that? I counted 30+ other kids who were either jumping or going down the slide and they did not have a wristband. This is just poor planning! If you are going to require people to buy those wristbands, then it needs to be enforced for every single child! Definitely will not be purchasing one again since the past six times I have got one, It was just a waste. The person who we placed our order with, was also not friendly, but I did not get his name. It was a guy dressing up like a girl, and had a black longer hair wig. He seemed very annoyed to even help us and acted like it was such a bother to take our order. For reference, we were in there on Sunday, December 29, around 12:30 PM. Chuck E also never made an appearance at all, and we were there from 12:30 PM until 3 PM. Team santee. Let me tell you. My family and I keep disappointed in you. Came in December for my sons bday and the younger ladies had the WORST attitude . No one wanted to help. It's a good location and clean. We have the fun pass, it's a great deal! But, my 4-year-old son is always in a bad mood at this location. The music is way too loud and he gets overstimulated right away. For this reason we usually go to the La Mesa location, it is much more mellow. read more

I was pretty excited we no longer had to drive to Point Loma but I may still have to. Took 20 min to process our order because their system was down. They said pizza was taking about 45 min to an hour... after 1 hour and 20 min, checked on the pizza... they said 4 more min. Went back 15 min later and they said they had to remake it... finally got the pizza after 2 hour wait. Asked for a fork for the wings I ordered... they have no silverware (how is that possible at a restaurant lol) Took my daughter to the restroom, there's no toilet paper. We wait to get in the door, then we wait in a long line to order because they only have one person on the registers. I can tell this location is fairly new, looks very clean and everything looks new. Staff was friendly and the pizza was yummy. The only down side is that there is not much for the toddlers to do. I was helped to today by a wonderful lady named Sydney, me and my husband and daughter came in for spring break instead of going to sea world because it was way to cold outside , she helped us get a gold pass in which saved us a lot of money and was very kind and courteous, it's our 4th time here and never met her before but I am glad she made our visit pleasant , I will come back here once a week most definitely, also the store manager was very nice when I mentioned how great Sydney was .. We had our daughter's 2nd birthday party here and it was fabulous! The kids ranged in age from two to seven and all of the kids had a great time. The food was delicious, the employees were very friendly, helpful, and kept the party moving along in a timely manner, and the variety of games was awesome! This location was very clean on the inside and I felt really great about letting the kids run around and have a good time. We had a birthday party here last week for my daughter's 6th birthday with about 25 kids and 20 adults. I reserved the party online and was able to increase the # of kids over the phone with the staff there since the website wouldn't allow it. Our party host that night was Hailey and she was great, when I arrived she gave me a breakdown of the schedule and ordered our food for us. The kids had a blast and everything was organized and on time. My daughter had an amazing birthday with her friends. Also, everything is new and clean. Went to the new Chuck E. Cheese in Santee tonight and my kids AND I had a blast! They have a special for the month of Oct... Buy 60 mins, get 30 mins free! It was worth every penny! I even played lots of games with my kids and they both had over 1,600 tickets on each of their cards. The games are for 13 yrs and younger. BUT older kids can play too! The party area looks like for young kids for sure. My boys are 9 and 7 yrs old. The pizza looks yummy and salad bar looked good. Very clean! There were two workers wiping games down constantly.
