We've been coming here for over a year, since before my daughter could walk to now wanting to climb on everything! I have found the staff helpful, kind, and on top of kids who are misbehaving. Having a kid who is under two, we play in the baby area (3 and under) a lot. I don't know why it draws in older kids like it does. Maybe because they're not allowed, they feel the need to go? Anyways, I don't have problems if there's older kids in with their younger siblings and they're being calm and just helping the younger kids. But when kids come barreling in, jumping throwing things, yelling...nope. It's a baby area, and I have no issue telling kids to leave. The staff is usually good at keeping an eye on that area as well. They regularly are out and about wiping the structure and play areas down. I'm not sure how they sanitize the ball pit balls, but I hope they do! There's clearly signs that say only homemade food so I'm not sure why people complain about that like it's not posted. There's also signs up saying to wear shoes in the bathrooms...I don't know why you wouldn't You do have to buy socks if you don't bring your own, so remember that! But they don't care what kind of socks (the Playground requires you wear only Playground socks) Is also recommend checking the calendar on their website before going! Sometimes they have private parties and will be closed to the general public. I've made the mistake a couple times of just driving over and getting there and it's closed. Oops! Their cafe area is good and the food is pretty yummy. I always bring snacks for myself and my daughter though so we don't have to pay for extra things if I don't want to. I haven't had any issues with any of the staff, though I've never interacted with the manager. The staff that is usually there is all great and very helpful! If you're not combative or rude, they're not either. The biggest problem I've run into is that parents or caregivers will park it somewhere and sit on their phones or computers and not pay attention to their kids at all. So you do get wild, out of control, and mean kids sometimes. If you have littles who want to climb the big structure, I'd always go with them to make sure they're not getting pummeled. We went camping at Lake Jennings and wanted to find somewhere close by to get the babies out of the heat. This place was PERFECT! Love that they have a designated toddler area and the staff was very vigilant in making sure bigger kids don't come in to disrupt. If we lived nearby, we would definitely recommend to friends and family! read more

This is a really fun place for kids! The jungle gym is really big, big enough for adults to go in and follow your kids around. There's several different slides for kids of all ages to enjoy and an enclosed little soccer like court filled with bouncy balls for those that want to just run around and kick some balls. I have two boys so I like coming here because my 10 month old can safely enjoy the toddler area while my 3 year old runs around the jungle gym area. This place isn't huge and the main playground is right in the middle so it's easy to watch multiple kids without having to chase them around. There's also a snack bar where you can sit and get a latte or a sandwhich. They allow homemade food and snacks so don't feel the need to buy from there, which is nice, but if you do, their food is pretty inexpensive IMO. Safety wise, their main gate to the front door is locked so an employee has to unlock it for you to leave which definitely helps keep your kids contained and not have to worry about them running out! Lastly, I've been here several times and each time I felt that the staff keep the area pretty clean. I always seeing someone vacuuming and cleaning up. All the staff members are pretty friendly. This is definitely our go-to during the summertime when it's too hot to be outside! read more

Let me start by saying--I have never been banned from any location in my life. If you know me, that's actually hilarious because I avoid confrontation and I'm definitely not someone who complains easily. Here's what happened: I have three kids, so naturally, I buy the punch card deal (around $200 for 10 visits). On our most recent visit, I noticed something strange. I had just purchased a new card, but something didn't add up. I asked to see a record of our visits, and immediately something jumped out--two punches were used on a Saturday. Not only would I never go on a Saturday (and definitely wouldn't leave one of my kids behind), but I wasn't even in the state that day. So I asked to see the punch card prior to that one, and again--I found four punches used while we were in Miami. I even showed staff proof via Apple Photos (which show location), but instead of helping, they dismissed me and refused to show me any more records. I told them I'd be disputing the charges if they couldn't offer a refund or at least a credit. Now here's where things get even more concerning: I went through all of our credit card accounts--Visa, Discover, Amex, and Mastercard--and between my husband and me, from April 2024 to April 2025, we had close to $5,000 charged at this place. We absolutely did not authorize $5,000 in charges here, and it raises some serious concerns about how securely they handle credit card information. Are they even PCI compliant? If you still decide to check this place out, I highly recommend paying in cash only. And honestly, that's a big if--because it's not the cleanest or safest environment either. read more

I heard about this place for awhile but didn't start coming until the beginning of 2024. We have been here many times since of course and so just recently deciding to write a review We bought a stamp card since it doesn't expire. Had the chance to experience some birthday parties as well. In terms of the day to day experience it was great. You get checked at entrance. There's a small door/gate that separates the front check in and the play area. I do like that it's electronic so you can open it unless buzzed in. Once in everywhere is socks only. Yes even in the area that has table and chairs. I do however bring my shoes to walk the hallway that leads to the restroom, as I noticed people wear shoes in that area quite often. The play area is nicely designed. Plenty of seating available for adults. I like how the seating even expands along the walls of the place. Easy to see and keep an eye out. There's an area for itty bitty. Soft play style with mats slide, and a ball pit. The big kid area is quite fun, even for adults. The longest slide, you can go super fast, especially if you're wearing athletic material which glides so easily. The back area is the ball area to shoot some baskets or throw around or kick. It's nice to be able to work as well since there's free wifi. Their food options is minimal but sufficient. Overall if you need to work and the little needs to get their wiggles out, not a bad place to be. read more

It was our first time bringing the kids here and they loved it! Our kids are 6, 4 and 2. Came out to about $56. $20 for one and $18 for the siblings. The place seemed pretty clean and well maintained. The people working there were friendly, helpful, and attentive. I could see they were actively watching the kids to make sure they were playing safely and following the rules. I noticed them picking the balls that fell out of the ball pit and putting them back. I appreciate that they have signs and arrows to direct children which way to go or not to climb up the slides. There was a toddler area for kids 3 and under and a lounge area with massage chairs for adults. The snack bar also had pretty decent food at reasonable prices. We ordered a kids meal for $8 which came with a grilled cheese sandwich, goldfish crackers, juice/milk and yogurt/string cheese. They also had paninis and salads for the adults for about $8-$9. There were plenty of tables to sit at and they have a private room in the back for birthday parties. I previously left a semi-positive review after my son's party last year. I returned recently, with my son's therapist for him to have a session there. I also brought along his Regional Center case worker for a periodic meeting (if you have a kiddo with special needs, you likely know what I am referring to). We brought, and paid for, 3 of my kids altogether. Upon entry, we were told that regardless of the number of kids we had, the max amount of adults welcome to live and breathe in the building per group is 2. Any over that amount would be a $5 charge. I explained we were there for a meeting (Me and service coordinator not using the play equipment) and therapy session pertaining to my son's disability, but it made no difference. The crazy part about the logic behind this business practice is that the therapist and my son could have walked in separately, and not been charged the $5. 2 adults per GROUP regardless of # of kids is wild and just another way this place squeezes every last penny they can out of families. Due to this, sadly I have to say this place is not very inclusive to families that need an extra adult/pair of hands for medical reasons. Just a small thing that would have made all the difference in our visit. read more

Disappointed with Horrible business. Promises to have an easy party but they make it very difficult for parents due to their business complications or problems they pass to the patrons with no problem solving skills or options, and HOLDING FOOD FOR GUESTS HOSTAGE when they stated they had problems settling a balance of the party on their card machines because their card machine wasn't working, and demanded cash payment at the time of party when we were onsite. Deposit and all other regulations fulfilled on the end of the patron/ customer. Solo parent either left the kid at the facility or took the kid from his party in search for $425 cash on a Sunday, no adjustments to party time offered or other solutions. They refused to charge the card on file when they received power the same day. They REFUSED TO FEED THE GUESTS until cash was obtained at this last minute notification during the party time. No other options offered except getting $425 CASH ON THE SPOT while guests and kids arrived and child awaited his party due to their lack of problem solving when business problems arose. Although they stated that their system wasn't working, all other systems, waiver sign in , card machines for games in the facility were functioning. Hmmmm...? AT THE TIME OF tHE SCHEDULED PARTY, 2 minutes prior to the entire party arrival, we were notified of their problem and they said (with deposit already paid) "you technically don't have a party because you haven't paid for it". No other options offered except getting $425 ON THE SPOT IN CASH with kids arriving and HUNGRY! horrible service, horrible predicament, horrible lack of problem solving skills for a business and the cost of the party. read more

My first time here and my last! Upon entering I was at the counter trying to check in and was interrupted 3 times by 3 different guests which was not discouraged by the employee but literally stopped what she was doing with me and assisted 3Xs!! Finally after checking in she said ok...and I said Ok what do I do since I have never been there (with my shoes and belongings) She said "just go in and find a place for your shoes on the right and then try to find a seat" So we go in and the cubby for shoes is completely full and there are shoes everywhere. When we move over to the toddler play area (granddaughter is 2) we are bombarded with over 3yr old kids rough housing. I see a sign on the wall that says 3 and under, parents please assist in this. I had to mention this to at least 5 different older children. 1-I'm not there to supervise other peoples children 2- there should be a limit on how many people are in there..in my opinion it was completely over crowded 3- there should be more supervision on the floor, especially in the toddler section where they are more prone to injury 4- if someone is asked if it's their first time then give some more attention and guidance upon entry Upon leaving I was asked my name and after telling the employee I said " this has not been a good experience " We were there for about 30 minutes when I decided enough was enough. I can't say enough great things about Funbelievable! We've been a few times now & each visit has been fantastic. My son absolutely loves it here.It's such a fun, safe, & engaging space for kids to explore. One of my favorite things as a parent is that the entire play structure is adult-friendly and fully accessible. I get to climb & play right alongside my son which makes the experience even more special. The place is always very clean & well-organized. They offer food & drinks for purchase super convenient when your kids don't want to leave! A special shoutout to Alex who is such a sweetheart & goes out of her way to make families feel welcome. Extremely rude and disrespectful staff and owner. I was told incorrect information by the staff working at the front desk, who were not only wrong about their own policies, but rude to my children and I. When I talked to the owner to clarify and to let her know how her staff was treating customers, all she said was 'Well, they are new.' That's it. No apology for their behavior or I guess for poorly training her staff. I have three young kids who need to burn off their energy frequently. The owner has lost a customer for life. We love FUNBelievable! I take my kids here and every time we've gone we've had a great experience. We've had a semi private birthday here and our experience was phenomenal. We just recently had a private party here and again it was the best experience. Adriana was so helpful and informative, the decor was perfect, our guests could not stop talking about how amazing the food was and about how AMAZING the party was. They also have a fun caged ball zone where you can go nuts with all the large different sized balls. They have a toddler area too...a soft play for the Littles. I'm very disappointed with the customer service at this business. I booked a party for my kids and paid a deposit, but unfortunately had a family emergency just a few days later that require us to go out of town the week i booked so i had to cancel. The date I booked was still a month away, so there was plenty of notice, yet they refused to refund my deposit. I completely understand policies, but I feel there should be some flexibility and compassion in situations like this. Even though I canceled almost immediately after booking, they would only offer a credit, which I won't be able to use. I even went as far as to explain what the family emergency was and how we wouldn't be having a big celebration because of what was happening. It's frustrating to lose money over something completely out of my control. I expected more understanding and better customer care. read more

Big climbing structure. She spent the majority of the time in the ball section. I thought this was cool. Haven't seen any other play place have an area dedicated to just throwing and kicking balls around. After 1.5 hours playing with everything, she was bored. Not so fun for 7month old. There are places not allow adult to go. This help my kid more confident and able to join later. Also they sale food and drink here as well. They also have a date night where you can drop off the kid. 1 star for effort, 1 star for the fun the kids have here. Guys. It breaks my heart to say this but I will no longer be giving my business to Funbelievable. I've been taking my kids here for almost 10 years. I love going here. But their poor business practices are just so confusing to me, and make no sense and are such an inconvenience to me, that it just doesn't make sense for me to spend my money here anymore. My previous review stating they wouldn't allow me to leave, get more children and come back- ultimately paying for four or five children in total- was the first instance. I spoke with the manager that day and she refused to allow us to leave and re-enter without paying again. Then today- I show up ten minutes after opening... There was one other person there. I had just bought a fresh coffee and they would not allow me to bring it in. Policy says no open cups at all, no exceptions. (According to the desk associate) But they sell open cups/coffee there... So the presence of the open cup is not the issue. They just want me to buy theirs. Ok, but I'm paying for my child to play here... And if I can bring her lunch in then why can't I bring in my coffee? I've spent money at the snack bar in addition to having our own snacks many times!! It just doesn't make sense in the grand scope of business. My only mistake in this situation was not asking for the manager. Luckily I can take my business to The Playground in La Mesa Grossmont Center. They allow outside food and drinks, because they understand working moms who come to use the Wifi for work while their child plays and will need their coffee to function. I'm not an unreasonable person. I was not rude, because as my daughter so sweetly said it, "he was just doing his job mama." And she's right, he was. I'm not upset that he turned me away, I'm upset that I couldn't enjoy my coffee this morning where I wanted to. That's on me. But I really hope the management reads this review and seriously considers realistic consideration for the policies in place. read more

My kids love coming here. They are 7 and 4 years and I take them here whenever we have free time during the week. It's not too expensive and there is no time limit like some other indoor parks which is great because they like to play for hours. It's a great place for them to run out their energy. They do have a few snack options that I haven't really tried yet but I think they might have pizza as well. read more

So quite a few points to make... I didn't take pictures bc there was never really a chance to without other people's kids clearly in it, not trying to look like a weirdo for a good review! But if I get some later, I'll add them. I have a 3.5 and 5.5 year old. There's a larger climbing area with a tradition Little ball pit that's like 2-3 layers of balls deep. A large 4 person side by side slide and a tube slide with obstacles to get up to them. My 5.5 year old flies through it. My 3.5 year old struggles here and there with some obstacles like the rock climbing area to get up (he can't do it but there are other ways to get up) full disclosure I had a hard time after lifting him up that area being 5 foot 3, and no way I was able to use the climbing aspect. Again there are other ways around it. There's a small 3 and under area, it's small and fine with a few kids but once some parents get in, it's not so roomy most parents don't step in unless they have really little ones usually. It's a soft play area, had a little climb up slide that's good for probably 1.5-3 year olds. My 3.5 year old likes it when he gets overwhelmed with bigger kids. I'm sure this can be said about any place but sometimes there's almost too many "big" kids and it gets tooo rowdy in my opinion with them not being even slightly cautious with other kids or smaller kids which get me nervous. There a "big ball" soccer arena under a part of the play structure with a lot of different sized balls. This area is just crazy. I've never been when kids, big kids and parents alike aren't beaming each other with balls and it gets crazy in there. There's a snack bar, it has paninis, coffees, snacks, juices etc. I've never ordered food other then chips and a soda, so I can't say much about that. So, I don't think it's against the rules for parents to go up in the play structure. Some places that's a hard no, so in one aspect it's nice to help my younger one. On the other side, sometimes there are just random parents (both moms and dads) just sitting in random spots. Cool, be there going through with your kid if they need help, just weird when they just sit in a spot with no real reason (assuming.) example: I just went up with my 3.5 year old to the top slide there was a guy sitting by the slide, just sitting. A little odd to me. He wasn't there the next time I went through so ‍. I do see people vacuuming so that's good. Kids and adult must remove shoes and socks are required ($3 if you need to buy some). There's a gate to get in and out, they have to let you in or out but they don't check if you're together or not. So kind of safe and kind of not. I think that's about it. We have come a few times and kids enjoy it. It's Not as big as another one we go to but this one is good to mix it up. Overall a 4, I do with they'd monitor kids a little. I've never seen anyone supervise or tell people to calm down or regulate. read more

Would give it a ZERO STAR if I could. Spoke with owner personally. She was unreasonable. She told me that a Manager had spoken with me and they have a three strike policy. My son had not attended 3 times for drop off. So that is impossible. First and only incident was over a year and a half ago and I paid the late pick up fee for the minutes I was late. So disappointing that a children program could and DOES ban children in the community after one incident. Owner needs to get her facts straight before throwing policies in a customers face. I attended a field trip with my son to Funbelievable. Even sitting in the cafeteria area, as he played in their play area with his one-on-one aide, I was told that I had to be wearing a pair socks. Grant it, it's a $3 purchase, but it seemed a nit picky and unnecessary demand. They also didn't allow one child with severe sensory issues to remain despite the fact that wearing the socks caused him complete disregulation. I'm super unimpressed. read more

Not sure how sanitary it is especially with how many kids play here daily. don't even think about bringing in a soda because they'll make you throw it away if it isn't from their concession stand so keep that in mind before you buy your drink. We had the BEST birthday experience yet! I dropped off my son's decorations earlier that week and when I showed up the place was fully decorated and dessert table ready! They helped us get everything out of our car, took everything out of our bags to make sure everything was used, and put out all the dessert & food for us!! Alex and her team were on top of it the whole time. Our guests loved the coffee bar add on! The Funbelievable team helped us corral the kids for photos, cake time and more. The team also helped us clean up and packed up anything we wanted to keep. I highly recommend Funbelievable and want to thank Alex and her team again for the wonderful experience!! I love indoor playgrounds and it was a must when visiting SD. The pictures alone got my attention. I love how big the structure is as we have something similar in the Bay Area. A plus was not having to buy special non slip socks that can cost $5 a pair. I liked how there's a locked gate to get in and out that is controlled by the staff. We came during open play but is limited to 2 hours. They give a wristband with your name and end time. Staff is constantly on the floor, I think mainly to keep track of everyone and make sure that you leave when your time is up. The place can get pretty crowded, mainly with kids. They have plenty of tables for adults to hang out. There's a small infant/toddler area thag my son loved. There's also a large ball area where kids can play basketball, soccer or just mess around with balls of all sizes. My kids enjoyed themselves. Would definitely come back when in the area. read more
