After my initial visit, I had a cleaning scheduled for August 2024, but they made me wait an hour past my appointment time... only for them to tell me it will be a longer wait. What a waste of my time! I end up rescheduling to November 2024. I was able to get my regular cleaning done November 2024, but it was recommended that I get a deep cleaning done ASAP. I freaked out and scheduled a deep cleaning for January 2025. January 2025, I came in for my deep cleaning and they tell me they have to do all my x-rays. I end up having a panic attack because Michele, who was doing my x-ray, hit the back of my throat when she put the x-ray inside my mouth and I began to choke and cough. She would leave for 10-15 minutes at a time and left me with the weighted x-ray chest on me which made me feel like I was suffocating. I expressed my extreme teeth sensitivity, but that was disregarded during the cleaning. It turns out they did a regular cleaning, but still tried to charge me a ridiculous amount for deep cleaning. I was shocked... why try and charge me for a service I didn't receive? Michele did the polishing after and it got all over my eyes and forehead. The floss also broke apart and kept getting stuck in my teeth. It was an overall terrible experience. I kept wanting to give this place a chance, but my hopes were too high. I did enjoy my experience with Dr. Day as he made me feel at ease. Jackie, the receptionist was also sweet.

I came in for a regular cleaning and based off looking at some Live Photos of my teeth, the dentist said I needed a deep cleaning for $600! No periodontal chart, no examining the xrays! (There was just some stains and some build up). He was asking me a ton of questions like he was trying to find a "gotcha" answer, and use that to justify a deep cleaning. "Do you smoke, do you drink, do you take supplements?" Yadi yadi ya. I have had a deep cleaning before and I was never asked these many questions (Like I was being interrogated). Previous dentist would just look at the xray and pockets to make an objective decisions. He was also acting like he was super concerned about my teeth and that this was devastating for me (I give the acting a 7/10, it was pretty decent). He then said he will see what he can do and drop some services during the deep cleaning and hook me for $160 for the deep cleaning. I walked out and talked to two different dentists/hygienist for a 2nd opinion and they said I definitely did not need a deep cleaning! The other dental office did a regular cleaning, removed the stains and build up and I was good to go. This place is so shady and unethical and needs to be reported to the BBB if you fell victim to one of their upsales. Please do not fall for their trap and seek second opinions.

Dr. Kang and his team have been attentive during the procedures and always made sure I was okay. I want to note how impressed I am by their efficiency when it comes to handling multiple clients at once. They work quickly without jeopardizing the quality of their work. I also would like to note that I have walked out of my dental appointments with no pain whereas, a friend of mine had a root canal from a different dentist and walked away unable to say the same. My insurance coverage covered white fillings and he continually pushed for metal/silver fillings for my child. I did not initially know that they only offer metal fillings, which is what he said. I did not want the metal ones so after the exam I said I would go somewhere else where my coverage was to my liking. He was very pushy and did not want to let me leave without explaining what he wanted to do--my small child and I were literally in the corner. I'm not sure why I stayed and let him speak to me this way, but I did. He was loud and yelled far more than I should have allowed and now that I've made some peace with the situation I know how bad it was. He said I should save my money and pay for books for my young child instead of paying out of pocket for white fillings. I said I did not want to and it was fine because surely another dentist would do it and it will NOT be out of pocket. I'm not sure where he assumed that white fillings are a rarity but the following month I went to another dentist and my children never had to get silver fillings. I can't be sure what he was so angry about or why our choices bother him, and it didn't make sense. I think there were probably some untruths about what type of fillings they offer or something to do with his business side +insurance payouts. One can only speculate because this truly was a bizarre situation. I could not trust Dr. L and would never advise anyone to go to him, not with that kind of behavior.
