She has been to three different dentists for implants, and she had the best experience at this office, which is why we keep going back here despite the very long drive. In fact, I've recommended this place to my friend's parents too. I took my mom to all her appointments. Dr. Vu Phan has wonderful bedside manner and was very patient with my mom through the whole process. He answered all of her questions thoroughly and gave her honest answers about whether or not she would need to do additional procedures for her other teeth. He even took the time to teach her how to floss properly. After my mom had the bone graft done, we had pretty frequent follow-up appointments (about every 2 months) to check on the development of the bone graft. In terms of billing, we had to pay half of the cost on the day of the first procedure, and we paid the rest of the cost later. The office did ask us to pay the full amount before they tried to bill the insurance, but my mom told them to bill the insurance first and let her know what the remaining copay would be, so the office did what my mom asked them to do. The office is clean and nicely decorated with a pretty fish tank. The restroom is clean too. Also they charge 3% service fee for credit cards, so I recommend paying in cash or check to avoid the service charge. Parking is plentiful. The staff speak English and Vietnamese.

But that place I went to before I came here, TRAUMATIZING. Now, this dental place gave me the hospitality and comfortability at its finest. They took care of me and made sure I was aware of what's going on and kept making sure I was okay. From the front desk, to the x-ray, and the doctor, they gave me the hope after 8 years of dodging the dentist, that the experience I had before isn't what I expected until I came here. AMAZING and thank you for giving me the courage to take care of my health!

She is very careful with her patients, understanding, and very gentle. She has a passion to help her patients for whatever their needs are. I have been going to her since before I had my family, and now, my whole family goes to her for our dental needs. My wife, who previously did not have great dental care, has had a great experience with her throughout all the procedures that she ended up needing to get. She had to get a crown, tooth extractions, and implants, and Dr. Marie helped throughout the whole process, helping with the referral doctors for the implant and the follow-up. My wife absolutely loves Dr. Marie. Then there is my daughter. I've known children can be quite hesitant going to any dentist, but my daughter always looks forward to meeting Dr. Marie. It's always her highlight of the day when she gets to visit Dr. Marie. Other dentists in my past have been questionable, such as forcing deep cleanings when it is not really needed (that happened so many times with different dentists when my teeth were actually in great condition), but it has never happened with Dr. Marie. She doesn't try to do what is unnecessary, and she takes great care of her patients. For the office, it is very clean and comfortable. The receptionist has been around with Dr. Marie forever, and she is very friendly and supportive. The equipment is well maintained for the needs of the patients. It may not have the ultra fancy hi-tech gadgets that some of the Newport Beach and South Orange County dentists that I have gone to in the past, but it has equipment that are practical and provide excellent care. There is a large TV in each room, showing something relaxing for the experience. Overall, there is no better dentist for me than Dr. Marie. How my family loves her is just further proof that Dr. Marie is doing everything right.

I just currently left after doing some fillings, not once but for a second time in one week because they weren't done correctly, the first time. So after going back to fix it, they're even worse now Dr. Bui is literally telling me to just go eat food and that will fix my teeth and that the pressure in between my teeth is normal. I have never felt this uncomfortable from dental work before. I honestly dont know why I came back here after my first horrible experience. After telling Dr. Bui that I was uncomfortable she basically just told me to leave. I told the people in the front to which they said they would talk to her and she basically told them to tell me to leave. Horrible experiences all around. They refuse to even brush and clean your teeth before doing work on you. Not to mention the tools looked old and had rust spots on them. She did similar horrible work with a crown to my mother, trying to more or less scam her over, overcharging her. I don't know the exact story with my mother, but I know that my mother refuses to go back to her as well. To top it all off she's in there arguing with one of her doctors in the front office, shes clearly a difficult person to work with. That's probably why there's never a doctor that lasts more than a couple years there. Edit: one month later i have pain and sensitivity in one of the three teeth they did a filling on, i cant eat or chew on that side and now have to go to another doctor to fix their botched work.
