The above was me and literally terrified of any dentist. I didn't want to foot one, even though it was needed. At times I was flat out stubborn, and chose to deal with the pain, just avoid the dentist. If you're like me, can relate to the above. I'm here to tell you, Dr. Jung is caring, attentive, careful and overall he knows what he's doing. Dr. Jung will bring comfort, give you peace of mind and work with you, at your pace. His staff is wonderful and Stephanie, who's the office manager, is on top of things. If you're in pain and need to be seen, they will squeeze you in their schedule. The staff and dentist honestly care about your needs. My entire family come to My Dentist for their teeth. I finally got the courage to come in. Noted I was hot mess, with so many issue. And after talking to one of the staff there she was polite and say that they are sorry for what had happen. Ask us to give them second chances on fixing my husband's flexible parcel denture. So I had to request a different technician . Didn't want to deal with that Rude lady again . So the older technician man help us this time he was nice, and polite and explained everything clear . He was able to fix the flexible denture to aline to the gum, and doesn't hurt when you put in and bite down. Overall the staff took this problem with the rude lady technician very seriously. My husband is now satisfied with his new flexible denture. Thank you, to all the front desk staff!

Dr. Nguyen is the absolute best dentist I've had the displeasure of going to. I'll be honest I hate…read moregoing to the dentist due to the pain. However I've been to this dentist the tunes now and she is very good at minimizing discomfort. Two key things I noticed. She administers anesthetic very accurately. No pain ever after its been administered but the beauty is practically no facial numbness at all after getting out of the seat. Incredible. She is very considerate and keeps mouth-open time to a minimum. She offers lots of rest period to ensure you don't leave with a sore jaw. And each time she always empties your mouth of saliva so you can breathe easy by allowing you to close your mouth on the suction wand. Another important point I should make is her hands are small which you will appreciate greatly if you've got a small mouth like me. Lastly, her treatments are very conservative. My previous dentist was very aggressive in my treatment and she pointed out that a lot of it was not needed. She is most concerned about preserving your teeth so they last. My previous dentist wanted to pull the off my teeth but Dr. Nguyen instead did root canals and crowned them, thereby preserving the strength in my bite, whereas the other work my previous dentist had done were several extractions, bone grafts and bridge work, which I can't really bite down hard. Dr. Nguyen has been practicing dentist since 1994 so she is incredibly experienced. I highly recommend her for these reasons.

I was so happy how amazing doc Jennifer was treating them, and the whole staff there is friendly. She explained the steps of what she is about to do, get them familiar with tools and what to expect. She put sealant on my sons permanent molars so he won't have any major cavities throughout his life. I recommend her as a great dentist, especially with kids. Warning: My "root canal treatment" here ended with a cracked tooth, extraction, and a $5,000+…read moreimplant. I rarely write reviews, but after what my wife went through, I feel obligated to share what was, for us, a nightmare experience so other patients can make informed decisions. My wife went to iSmiles Dentistry on November 15, 2025 because she was experiencing severe pain in one of her teeth. After examining the tooth, Dr. Dang told us the cavity had progressed past the gum line and recommended a root canal. The procedure was described in a way that made it seem like a fairly routine treatment, so we agreed to proceed. In hindsight, we strongly regret not getting a second opinion. What was presented as a straightforward procedure turned into three separate visits. Only on the third visit were we referred to an endodontist (a root canal specialist). When we saw the specialist on December 15, we were told the tooth had a significant crack that was not there before and was no longer restorable. At that appointment, we also learned that the tooth appeared to have a calcified root canal, which can make treatment much more complicated and is often handled by a specialist. This was not something we recall being discussed with Dr Dang before the procedure began, and we were not given the option of seeing an endodontist first. The end result is that my wife lost the tooth. She has gone through months of pain and now faces the long dental implant process, which we were told will cost more than $5000 with a different dentist. What made this situation even more frustrating was the response afterward. When we raised concerns with the office, responsibility was denied and we were told the risks were covered in the paperwork. We felt the manager attempted to place the blame on us. Based on the X-rays we reviewed from before and after the procedure, we still have serious questions about what happened. From our perspective, informed consent should involve a clear conversation about risks and alternatives between doctor and patient, not simply relying on forms. Because of these concerns, we are currently pursuing a claim through the dentist's liability insurance and filing a complaint with the Dental Board of California regarding the informed consent process. Patients deserve transparency when making decisions about major dental procedures. If you are considering treatment here, I strongly recommend asking detailed questions and seriously considering a second opinion--especially for complex cases.
