I have been going to Dr. Marie (aka Dr. Marie Hoang) for around 20 years now, and she is by far, the best dentist I have had. She is very careful with her patients, understanding, and very gentle. She has a passion to help her patients for whatever their needs are. I have been going to her since before I had my family, and now, my whole family goes to her for our dental needs. My wife, who previously did not have great dental care, has had a great experience with her throughout all the procedures that she ended up needing to get. She had to get a crown, tooth extractions, and implants, and Dr. Marie helped throughout the whole process, helping with the referral doctors for the implant and the follow-up. My wife absolutely loves Dr. Marie. Then there is my daughter. I've known children can be quite hesitant going to any dentist, but my daughter always looks forward to meeting Dr. Marie. It's always her highlight of the day when she gets to visit Dr. Marie. Other dentists in my past have been questionable, such as forcing deep cleanings when it is not really needed (that happened so many times with different dentists when my teeth were actually in great condition), but it has never happened with Dr. Marie. She doesn't try to do what is unnecessary, and she takes great care of her patients. For the office, it is very clean and comfortable. The receptionist has been around with Dr. Marie forever, and she is very friendly and supportive. The equipment is well maintained for the needs of the patients. It may not have the ultra fancy hi-tech gadgets that some of the Newport Beach and South Orange County dentists that I have gone to in the past, but it has equipment that are practical and provide excellent care. There is a large TV in each room, showing something relaxing for the experience. Overall, there is no better dentist for me than Dr. Marie. How my family loves her is just further proof that Dr. Marie is doing everything right. read more

If you want excellent dental care, look no further! I am incredibly thankful I found this practice. Dr. Chong has been my dentist since the early 2010s when he practiced at an office in Los Angeles (Silver Lake/Echo Park). He's taken care of me and guided me through countless issues, connecting me with other specialists for whatever I need, and his wife, Dr. Marie, has also come to be been a terrific partner to me in dealing with whatever is going on in my mouth (and whatever nonsense insurance is trying to pull). For +15 years, no matter the issue, I've been able to count on them and their support staff. Because they've been so reliable, wonderful, and affordable, I've followed them from LA, to Cerritos, to now Westminster. I *literally* take 3 buses over 3 hours, one way, to go see them (see photo): THAT is how great they are, THAT is how worth it they are to me and my health. They will have to cross an ocean to get me to quit them. Literally. Thank you, Drs. Chong & Marie & staff! read more

I've always dreaded going to the dentist. Ended up needing to go and found this place on yelp and read nothing but amazing reviews. Went in for the first time, and let me just say .. WOW. I've never felt more comfortable and well taken care of the way they took care of me. 10/10 would recommend to others. I love it here, never looking back haha! read more

Well I've been putting off seeing a dentist for awhile I'm embarrassed to say but when I broke a tooth a week ago, I knew it was time! I am not a fan of going to the dentist even more so then doctor visits so I did extensive research to try and find a good fit. I have a bad gag reflex and get a little anxious being in exam chair. Well I have to say that Dr. Marie and her assistant put me at ease with their work. Numbed area with minor discomfort from initial shot and worked with me to get X-rays even with my tendency to gag. Both were friendly and Dr. Marie made pleasant conversation and made the procedure go by rather quickly. Clean office and nice relaxing music and visuals playing while in exam chair. I go back for a cleaning in a couple weeks and have zero apprehension about returning! So glad I came here and hopefully won't need anything major work anytime soon! read more

I was referred to Dr. Marie's office earlier on but decided to look for a dentist in the south county area. After many not so good experiences for my son, I made the drive and went to Dr. Marie and Darryl Chong's office. It exceeded my expectations, it is truly what a dentistry should be. Dental Care that was honest, gentle, helpful and effective. From teeth cleaning too deeper dental works Dr. Marie was attentive and cared for my teeth with such professionalism and kindness. I wanted to give my kids a dental experience that would be positive and really help them understand how to care for their teeth, I am so glad our family found there office! I would absolutely recommend them, it's been the best dental experience! read more

Full disclosure: my initial review was from a few years ago at a different location. I copied and pasted it into his new business location. This is the updated review: I trust Dr. Chong as my go-to dentist for all my dental needs! Since my last review, I've become a nurse and I have seen Dr. Chong several times. I can't stress how much bedside/ chair side manner matters! Building rapport with patients is important and unfortunately lots of doctors and dentists don't take the time to get to know their patients or hear their concerns. They just do a quick check up and then ask for the next patient to come in! But not Dr. Chong! He has gotten to know me and listens to what I have to say and address my concerns. This man is thorough and attentive! Now that I have a son, Dr. Chong checks his teeth too to make sure his teeth is growing in properly and has been providing education on setting up good dental hygiene for my son. Excellent dentist, cannot recommend him enough! I even made the trek to his new location in Westminster! read more

Great dentists. They are friendly, competent and do a great job. You get more time with the actual dentists than most other offices

I've been seeing Dr. Marie now for about 6 years and she's the only dentist I trust. Not only does she care, she's also honest and helps maintains the integrity of my teeth without pushing me. I've listened to her advice and my teeth are always in excellent shape with no issues. She's punctual and on time. I avoided going to the dentist in the past because of the typical fear of the dentist and the overall discomfort. But now I'm committed to seeing her twice a year. Highly recommended! read more

I've been going to Dr.Marie for a few years now and can't speak highly enough about her! She is great at what she does but also truly cares about her patients. She always asks me about how I'm doing and manages to remember everything I've told her before from our previous visits. Even though I've moved to LA I still make the drive down to Orange County to see her. Highly recommend! read more

Dr. Chong was our kids' first dentist. Somehow, he kept the 2 yo in the chair with a smile and silly jokes. Fast forward 16 yrs -- he moved the practice from LA :( but we drive to OC for 6 month check ups because he is that good! He doesn't try to get you to do stuff you don't want or need. Dr. Marie is also friendly, fun and a skilled clinician. Office staff is nice and call to remind you of your appt. Highly recommend both of these dentists. read more

Dr. Chong is an amazing dentist. We drive 105 miles just to come to his practice. I bring my entire family for all our dental needs. He is courteous and easy to schedule an appointment with. I've gone to Dr. Chong and Dr. Marie since I was a kid and look forward to every visit. Dr. Chong is such an easy-going person. The first day I came there he immediately made me feel comfortable and at home. Unlike other dentists, where I feel like I'm being rushed or it feels like a business transaction, with Dr. Chong it feels like he really wants to get to know you. I'll barely mention something during my cleaning and a few months later during my next cleaning, he'll still remember what we were talking about. He is incredibly thorough during cleanings, and I always feel so much better when I leave. I never feel rushed going here. If I ever have a question or there is something bothering, Dr. Chong is happy to help answer any questions or address any issues I might be having. Dr. Marie is also an amazing dentist. She is so easy to talk to and really tries to get to know patients. Like Dr. Chong, Dr. Marie actually builds relationships with patients. By the end of every visit, I feel like I went to see a friend rather than a dentist. She's great at cleanings too! If I'm ever feeling especially sensitive, she's happy to take some extra time to make sure I'll have a pain free cleaning. Honestly, Dr. Chong and Dr. Marie are such great dentists, that I drove 40 minutes just to see them because I always feel so comfortable coming here. read more

I really love Dr. Marie M. Hoang's, family dentistry office! (She is Dr. Chong's Wife and a wonderful dentist). I've known her for several years and have always been very satisfied with her work. I can honestly say, that in my experience, she is the best dentist that I've ever had. And that is saying a lot since I've had lots of dental work. At one point, I wanted to get my yearly teeth cleaning, and I found out she had moved. I looked for her and I was so glad to find her. I went to the new office on July 6 2022. Her new office is a little farther from the previous one, but let me tell you, it was worth the drive. Also, all the staff I met was kind, professional and wonderful. I can honestly, say that in my experience, this is truly a personalized dental office where the dentist and staff really care about patients. And this office definitely feels like a family. From the moment I called for an appointment, I was treated well. Even when my phone directions app failed to work on my way there, I called the office and was given instructions on how to arrive. It was great. And like many, throughout the years, (before Dr. Marie Hoang), I had developed fear of dental work. But I can honestly say that Dr. Mary Hoang has restored my faith in dentists. All I can say is thank you, I am so grateful. Dr. Marie Hoang is a great dentist and I have no hesitation in sharing my personal experience with others. Hopefully, they will benefit from my experience and enjoy an equally relaxing and enjoyable dental treatment experience. A+++ Thank you. Grace D. read more
