I've been a loyal patient at Premier Smiles Dentistry for the past seven years, and even after moving four times, it has remained a no-brainer to drive from either LA or Orange County to see Dr. Devani and his team. Everyone is consistently professional, kind, and welcoming, and the quality of care is excellent. Over the years, I've completed Invisalign and had my wisdom teeth removed through their office. When Dr. Devani discovered that one of my teeth had a dead nerve, he referred me to an excellent endodontist for a root canal. The procedure and recovery went smoothly, and Dr. Devani continued helping me afterward with the appearance of the tooth. Michelle has often been my dental hygienist, and she is wonderful. She is thorough with my X-rays, cleanings, and checking the health of my teeth and gums. She is also incredibly friendly and sweet, which always makes appointments more comfortable. I also think it speaks volumes that so many members of his team have remained with the practice throughout the seven years I've been a patient. I'm 52 and haven't taken care of my teeth as diligently as I probably should have, but I've always had what I considered to be good dentists. When my insurance changed about 4 years ago, I switched to my wife's dentist and realized I had never had an EXCELLENT dentist like Dr. Nick and his staff. I've since had a filling and 2 old fallen-out crowns replaced, and the care has been both superb and affordable, with almost no waiting. All of their equipment is state-of-the-art (as far as I can tell), which probably speeds things up considerably, but it also feels like they value your time so the next person you need (hygienist, dentist, receptionist, etc.) is ready to go as soon as it's their turn up at the plate, though they explain everything thoroughly and don't rush you out, either. The entire experience is friendly, cost-conscious but not cheap, and seamless in a way that must take a ton of hard work and coordination behind the scenes. It's all very impressive and feels like a place where people enjoy their work because they do it so well. I've also never been pitched a bunch of products or procedures I didn't need. In fact, several times Dr. Nick or his associates have explained why I didn't need something in particular (like the anti-bacterial UV treatments ex-smokers sometimes need...the bacteria count didn't justify it for me). I don't write many reviews, but I also don't often run into an experience like that provided by Premier Smiles. My wife has perfect, toothpaste-model teeth, and I wish I'd come here a long time ago like she did so I would, too (and she'd stop showing them off all the time to make me jealous). I can't recommend Premier Smiles highly enough; the entire operation is truly remarkable. read more

I took my mom to Dr. Devani after she had a root canal. My mom needed a crown, but she could not pay the money that Dr. Devani wanted that day. Dr. Devani became visibly angry. The endodontist told us that the area would only require a small filling. Devani put in a filling and shaved one side of the tooth down so that it would easily break. While leaving Premier Smiles Dentistry, the front desk had my mom sign a document releasing Devani of all responsibility for the tooth. Sure enough, the tooth broke up soon-while my mom was flossing her teeth. I have photos, but my mom says that I cannot share them. read more

I appreciate when business righted their wrong. I had a talk with Dr. Devani & the administrative about the situation and what caused the delay. Dr. Devani explained there must be a miscommunication between the two parties and hiccups with the dental insurance claims. I appreciated he came by to apologize and offer to take off my deep cleaning charges. However, I believe that if there is an issue with the insurance claims, they should let the patients know regardless. If the patients didn't know, how would they understand situation and it would just cause frustration. My other dental visits with Dr. Cai were fantastic. She was quick and always made sure I'm not in any discomfort during my treatment. We had some good chat (despite my numbing) about dentistry and life in general. Overall, I was happy with the provided services. However, transparency and communication would make patient understand the situation better. read more

Doctor Nick Devani is one of the best dentist I have been to. I have been going through health issues that could have affected my teeth. Doctor Devani met with me on several occasions to ensure my treatment for cancer did not affect my mouth.
