I have been wary of going to dentists because I have had bad experiences the past few dentists that I have visited, so I came in with a negative connotation of dentists. As soon as I walked in the door, I was warmly greeted by Jennette who helped me get settled in a comfortable. My first visit was to get teeth cleaning done and it is a simple procedure, but Dr. Ash was very thorough. During my initial visit, he notified and showed me that a few of my fillings needed to be replaced as they were either cracked or parts of them chipped off, so I scheduled another appointment. This second visit is where I knew that Pure Cypress Dentist deserve a 5 stars. I came in and was again greeted by Jennette and within minutes, I was taken to get the procedure done. Regarding fillings, I have had both good and terrible experiences, so I wasn't sure what to expect. Before the procedure began, Dr. Ash explained exactly what he was going to be doing and how everything would feel. The procedure went by fairly quickly but it was done thoroughly. During the procedure, the moment Dr. Ash realized that I was in pain, he immediately stopped and injected more local anesthesia in order to numb the pain. Other dentist most likely would not have done this and would have just let me suffer through the pain. Also, other dentists that I have been to simply place the filling and do not even care about how it will affect my bite but Dr. Ash made sure that the fillings were placed properly and that it did not mess up my bite. It has only been 1 day after getting my fillings replaced, but I can hardly notice them and it is all thanks to Dr. Ash! I would highly recommend Pure Cypress Dentists to family and friends and I think I found my new dentist! read more

After not being to the dentist after a good amount of years, it really felt great coming here and feeling very welcome. Past dentists have treated patients as customers rather than...patients, but here, everything is explained to you thoroughly before it is done. Rather than making you feel awful for not flossing or maintaining teeth, you feel comfortable enough as if you were right at home with Netflix waiting for you to choose your next show, LITERALLY! Jess was someone who took my X-rays/helped with my cleaning and honestly her humor was amazing, she is very personable and treats everyone as a friend rather than someone who needs your mouth wide open. There was someone else who I was worked on by but for the life of me I cannot remember her name, (and if you're reading this I am so sorry!) but she was also great as well! She had worked at Western Dental prior to here and I'm glad she left there or else I would not have had as great of an experience as I did! Edit: her name is Victoria :) My dentist during my appointment, Dr. Pham, has those same traits applied to him, and he always makes sure you're comfortable with everything happening, asking you if you're okay every few minutes(which I very much appreciate. I have to return in about a week to finish what they had started previously, and in all honesty, I hope I have the same people helping me out because it was really the first dentist experience I've ever enjoyed period. 5 out of 5, I can't wait till my next appointment! read more

I recently had my first dental appointment in almost a year, and I can't express how relieved and grateful I am for the experience. After years of anxiety about dental visits and the fear of what I might hear regarding my oral health and the associated costs, I finally decided to take the plunge and visit Pure Dentist. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by Gabby. They have warm and welcoming atmosphere. The entire team was incredibly kind and supportive especially Joel & Gabby, making me feel at ease right away. It's not often that you find a place where everyone genuinely cares about your well-being, but that's exactly what I experienced here. Dr. Vu was exceptional. I felt like I was in good hands throughout the entire process. What stood out to me the most was the trustworthiness of the staff; they didn't push unnecessary treatments or pressure me into decisions. Instead, they took the time to explain everything clearly, allowing me to make informed choices about my dental health. To top it all off, they even stayed late to accommodate my schedule, which I truly appreciated. It's rare to find such dedication and commitment to patient care. I made the mistake of having a crown done here. It cost $900 out of pocket, which was a deal. It's not a deal when you have to pay for it out of pocket a year and half later. Yep it only lasted a year and a half! Then I had to pay for the crown again, but they gave me a deal because their work failed within a time range. Since I had my crown redone, and spent $1,500 out of pock, it fell out 6 months later. Yes, the second crown fell out 6 months later! I want to jump off a cliff. I don't get paid time off. Every time, I take time off becuase there work fails, it costs me all kinds of money. This is a sick thing to do. I am a medi-cal patient. They are ripping off poor people. I can't afford to pay them $500 a year to redo their work. I have two other crowns I got done elsewhere, and I've had those crowns for years and there has not been one problem. I went with pureone because they were $100 cheaper. Wow, I am paying now. Initially, I heard a patient complaining that there crown popped off and I got really nervouse and I didn't want my work done there, and I was reassured that it was a misunderstanding and no big deal. Most everytime I am there people are walking in saying that there crown came off. It's happened at least two times. Get your act together people. I can't afford this. It's sick! read more

I had one of the best experiences at Pure Cypress Dentist. Dr. Kwan was understanding of my past traumas at other offices and treated me with upmost respect. She was gentle and took her time to take things slow for me. Donavan the assistant was kind and explained to me everything before hand so I wouldn't be worried.        The other assistant Becky took me slowly and was able to make me feel as comfortable as I have ever been. The check in was quick and simple, and I was greeted with a lot for respect. I usually get really nervous about x-rays, but I was treated with a lot of kindness and respect by Donavan. Once I was placed into a clean room I was put on a movie to watch which calmed my nerves as quickly as I had gotten them.       I felt very comfortable the entire time and was treated with a lot of respect by all of the staff members. I have been so scared to go to a dentist office for so long, but not aymore. I have found my safe space and will continue to come to this office for as long as I can. I found this dentist office online while looking for a dentist accepting mediCal to extract my husbands tooth. I got a prompt appointment and my Hubby is a scaredycat. I have to go in with him. With COVID precautions, they allowed me in. They examined him with care and talked him through it. Dr Don administered numbing injection so smooth it was flawless. Becky put on a favorite tv show for him and explained everything that would be done. She is so knowledgeable and fluid in her job. Joel was also so attentive and courteous that my Hubby felt so comfortable that we returned for work that was covered by our insurance and they gave us discounts and Dr Don works so careful and discomfort is minimal that my Hubby would feel fine to actually go to Appts without me and that says a lot. Do yourself a favor and let them do all your dental work. The office is very clean and an air purifier is in every room. They should be the blueprint for a grade A dental office. The service here is impeccable and I couldn't have been happier. From the time you call the office to when you visit, everything is incredible. Finding a great dentist is difficult to find, as is a great restaurant or even a great woman. Luckily, I found my fiancée who's more than great and now my new dental office. The decoration of the main entrance is relaxing and the customer service is fantastic and genuine. You can tell people like their work and there isn't any fake BS customer service. The doctors here are open, patient, understanding, listening and no one is pushing or trying to sell you anything. Ultimately, it's your mouth and your health, so the doctors just say what they suggest and what they need. I've seen other dentists and they're more than pushy and rude. Here you will get direct responses not bullshit. If you want great customer service, open communication, and excellent work done will please come here. Today I went to Pure Cypress Dentist and I haven't went to the dentist in a very long time. I was really scared thinking that they were going to make me feel weird because of it or tell me something was bad. I walked in took x-rays everyone was super nice they knew I was nervous because I hadn't been to the dentist for a while because of my fear and they were so sweet they even had a movie playing for me and a movie plays on the sealing as well. The dentist, Dr. khaef, was the coolest guy. Super nice friendly and he tried to make me relax and eased my nerves by making jokes and making sure I wasn't in any sort of pain. I have never met a nicer dentist before he was a really cool guy. Now I feel like I would be happy to come back and I've always had bad experiences at dental offices. I have a appointment in a couple of weeks with them. So happy they were able to see me too. Thanks for all you guys do. Natalie, Dali, and Christine were very awesome! Gave me a warm welcome as soon as I stepped into the office. Natalie ended up helping me out with every question and helped me out with the options I had with my visit. tofthe dentist and his assistant made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire time they were working on my teeth. Even offered to play netflix for me while I waited and as they worked on my teeth. I kindly declined the offer though because the music they played (john legend at the time) was more than enough. The place is very cleaned and organized. They even offered me a complimentary paraffin wax for my hands. Did not expect that one to be honest. I highly recommend this location very much to anyone looking for a location where they care about there guests. Its the best experience ive ever had and I guarantee you wont be let down. I had to share the AMAZING experience I had today at Pure Cypress Dental. First I'll start with letting you know that I have a tremendous fear of the dentist.. with that being said- Today was my first time seeing Dr.Tourgoli and man am I lucky I found her! She and Donovan were in the treatment room with me and they both were so kind and understanding! Donovan was so efficient and friendly and was there when he could tell I was getting nervous which was so nice and comforting. At one point my emotions got the best of me and they didn't make me feel embarrassed or get annoyed. Instead, they gave me a few minutes and told me it was totally ok! Dr. Tourgoli explained to me what she was doing and she seriously had such a calming energy. My girlfriend and I came to Pure Cypress Dentists for a filling and a root canal. My girlfriend has a lot of anxiety with going to the dentist and everyone here made her feel so comfortable. Dr. K was such a personable doctor that instantly made the room feel comfortable and welcoming as soon as he walked in. The office manager Joel walked us through the procedure and medical costs. We were fortunate enough to have our insurance cover almost all of the cost and we were super happy with that. Donavan and Adriana were the assistants that helped us to get settled. Donavan was super sweet and Adriana was the assistant to Dr. K while the procedure was happening. She did a great job making my girlfriend comfortable during the procedure. Strongly recommend this office! I have been taking my teenage son to many highly-rated dental offices for Invisalign consultations and eventually decided to use this office not only for my son, but also for myself as well. So far I have visited this office for five times and felt that it is the most efficient and warmhearted office I have visited/used. The waiting time has been amazingly less than five minutes. The office staff is all very nice. Natalie especially is extremely knowledgeable with insurance and accommodating and helpful with patients. Dr. Glass is highly technical, professional, and experienced (with 20+ years). Dr. Ash, the owner, spent over one hour to show me animations and answer my questions regarding a concern I've had with my treatment plan. First thing I want to say is that the ENTIRE staff there is AMAZING. Dominque helped me sort out my insure issue and Mandy (I really hope that's her name) the dental assistant was so kind and comforting today because Dr. Ha was having trouble again getting me numb enough for the root canal. He already knew that I am extremely hard to numb. He felt bad for me and I felt bad for him. Lol! After several injections Dr. Ha had to step out and Dr. Pham covered and VOILA somehow that last injection was the money shot. No pun intended. The dynamic duo Dr. Ha and Dr. Pham are the best and most kind and caring dentists I have EVER been to. They make me want to go to the dentist. A huge thank you to Dr. Ha and Dr. Pham and the entire staff there. I cannot rave enough about my experience there. If anyone reading this goes to a different dentist switch NOW it will be well worth it!!! read more
