Dr. Faye is a dentist who prioritizes patients' wellbeing and takes great pride in the high quality of services that she and her hygienists provide. I like being able to see the same dentist versus revolving dentists. I also appreciate Toothworx's reasonable wait time and availability of late afternoon and weekend appointments for working adults and school-age children. In the past few years that my family received care from Dr. Faye, she had earned my trust and respect. After she performed an initial evaluation, she recommended that I see an endodontist as soon as possible. My dental benefit for that year maxed out after seeing the specialist. Basically, she only got paid for preventative dental work during my first year with her. In order to maximize her earning potential, as soon as possible, she could have recommended that I do all the other work under general dentistry first. Besides, as a business owner, one never knows how long a new patient will stay to complete the recommended treatment plan. Because she was capable of correctly diagnosing a chronic tooth infection from my x-ray (which no other dentists in recent years prior to her had caught), she helped me solve and address a medical mystery. Because I experienced no pain from my problematic tooth, which already had a root canal, I did known the source of my infection. Nonetheless, the infection kept showing up in my annual blood & urine labs. Antibiotics did no lasting good. Dr. Faye is the dentist and owner for both Toothworx and iSmile (another highly reviewed dental office at Lakewood). My only complaint is that my dentist is too successful in serving the community and cannot physically be at both practices at the same time. read more

Top-of-the-line dental provider! Doctor Faye Uy is outstanding. She has many years of experience and wants only what's best for each of her patients. Dr. Faye is the best! Toothworx's office staff is amazing too, very professional and friendly! Lastly I only came across Toothworx because I had become unhappy with my previous dentist of over 10 years. The previous dentist was prescribing and charging me for multiple crowns, plus root canal. It felt off to me so I did some searching and was so thankful to find Dr. Faye. She looked at my problem spots and she calmly explained how an alternative, less invasive treatment might work... and it 100% did! She saved me at least $1,000 and spared me so much pain and destruction to my teeth. i highly recommend Toothworx - the staff is incredibly sweet and Dr Faye is amazing. They remember me and my stories from 6 months ago. they truly care about their patients. Dr Faye has a very laid back attitude and listens to your concerns. She pays attention to details and is very good at what she does. They also do not upsell you on anything. Do Not recommend. The patient loyalty is not rewarded, long waits even with scheduled appointments. Weekend appointments are rushed and overlapping care with other patients. This dental clinic refuse to release copies of my dental X-rays, after I requested them to provide to my new dentist. On my first 2 attempts, I was told the dentist would get in touch with me, however, on the 3rd follow up, the person who answered the call said, the dental clinic does not keep copies of dental X-rays. I was looking for an office in Cypress to get professional teeth whitening. I've tried all kinds of teeth whitening that is sold online and in local markets: none of them work and only caused sensitivity. I came across this office online and the pictures definitely looked modern. I called the office and I believe I spoke with Mike, the manager, and he ensured that I was not going to have a negative whitening experience because of my past experiences doing it myself. I walked in and was greeted by Mike. I can tell he is a transparent person and a cool guy. I checked in using my phone instead of those old school paper work and it was a breeze. This office is definitely up to date on technology and they have state-of-the-art equipment. Their dental chair was very comfortable and even had a TV from the top. I also saw a cool machine which Mike told me makes permanent crowns, in an hour. Most dental offices make temporary crowns and patients have to come back after 2 weeks to get their real crown. Sometimes, the temporary crown can fall out from pervious experience.. For that reason, I'm going to get a crown done here in the future. I believe Erica was the person that did my Zoom teeth whitening and the process went smoothly. I went on YouTube and watched boxing while getting my Zoom treatment. She checked up on me to see how I was doing. Dr. Faye also came by to introduce herself and she was really nice. Customer service is a plus here that's for sure. I didn't feel too much sensitivity during the treatment but after I started feeling it after. I looked at my teeth and it got 3 shades whiter -- all my stains were gone. I was given Advil because of these zingers and I have no regrets. No pain, no gain. I appreciate Dr. Faye, Mike, and Erica for my first in-office pro teeth whitening experience great. I am never going to buy those strips online or in the market anymore because I wasted a lot of money and caused more damage to my teeth. I will definitely be back for my cleaning in the near future or for a crown. I highly recommend this office. This is not your typical old fashion dental office. read more

Just had a cleaning done this past weekend and it was probably the best dental experience since I've moved to cypress ALL of the staff were great and the doctor was wonderful. We are a family of 5 and they juggled us so well. They were very patient and so kind to my kids ages 3, 4& 9. We met Dr. Faye Uy through a friend and from the moment we met, we just clicked. Both her and her staff are incredibly personable and easy to speak with. Most people dread the dentist but their facility is great at disarming those anxieties as they take you step by step through each process. Signing in is a breeze with their iPad application. They even have a texting service to remind you about your appointment the day before. We just recently switched to their new office in cypress and we were blown away it. Everything is brand new state of the art equipment. They have a small couch and TV in the waiting area. There's even a fridge with water bottles or juice for your little ones. I used to hate having to come to the dentist because of the wait. Their new location is so convenient for my family and we barely have to wait. It's just in and out within an hour. Dr. Faye is an amazing doctor. We're glad to have her as our practitioner and also as a friend. Going to our visits every 6 months has become so effortless and we have had great results. Nice office with friendly staff. They pay attention to not just the tooth they are working on but the surrounding areas as well. Updated imaging system that allows for better picture of your teeth. My last dentist said I had none but came here and found out that I needed some work before they became worst. They noticed that food kept getting stuck between my teeth and they asked me if that keeps happening and sure enough they worked on it and now it doesn't happen any more. Great dentist. I am so glad I found this dentist. Dr Faye is completely understanding, caring, honest, patient, helpful and knowledgeable. I was so scared to come to the dentist because of a really horrible experience I had at a prior dentist. I received dental work that left me in pain and just miserable overall. Not to mention they did a good job at gouging me financially. I came to dr Faye to see if she could help. She was extremely understanding of my situation and accommodating to my hesitation. She answered all my questions, filled me in on everything they were doing and wanted to do, and she showed empathy for what I had gone through at the previous dentist. I am honestly so lucky I found such a kind dentist and I actually look forward to going back for my future visits! I know I'm in good hands and I trust her completely when it comes to my dental health. In regards to pricing, I have insurance that covers most of the procedures so I do end up paying copays, but she is very transparent in her pricing so I know I'm getting a good deal. She is gentle when she's working that after I left the office I was surprised to not have any bleeding or lingering pain. She's diligent when she is working which I really appreciate. Her staff is also really kind and welcoming, from the receptionist, to the hygienist, to her assistant, they are all really friendly and seem happy to talk to you, not grouchy like my previous dentist. The receptionist Ashley is super nice and knowledgeable, she thoroughly explained my insurance to me and was ready to answer any questions I had. She is quick to respond, either via email and over the phone, and she is really friendly. Alex was super calm and gentle when he did my teeth cleaning (I hadn't had a teeth cleaning in awhile) and instead of making me feel bad about it like my prior dentist had, he was focused more on educating me, rather than belittling me for my hygiene. He took his time and was delicate when working. He was calm and easy to talk to. Her assistant Erika was really friendly as well, she remembered me from my prior visits and even remembered that I just had a baby, she asked about him and put me at ease with her conversation and care.
